The Talk Between Hussein, His Children, Son-in-law and Daughter.

After the wedding, Azhar took his wife to their honeymoon but he postponed their international honeymoon because of her health.

They moved into their new house designed by Zianna and her sisters plus Iman, her sister-in-law. It was Zianna's dream house to live in with her family and alhamdulilah Azhar made that dream a reality.

"Zia, are you okay? Is it your health?" Azhar asked his wife who was sitting on the bed looking at the message on her phone.

"I am fine alhamdulilah. I just received this message from an unknown person. It's weird because of its contents," Zianna explained, handing him her phone.

The message read;

Don't trust your stepmother because you might end up losing your life just like your father. He got saved because of his quick thinking but you will be in different situations because she doesn't care who you are.

"Did something happen to Dad on the day of our wedding? Is that why he was late?" Zianna asked, worriedly. "Did she hurt him because of me? Maybe I shouldn't meet him again..."

"Zianna, don't do that because of someone who doesnt have a concious. Besides, if dad had been in an accident you would know, right?" Azhar asked.

"But I don't want anything to happen to him even if he wasn't the best father to me. Azhar, could you ask your brother's best friend to investigate Nadia?"

Azhar moved closer to his wife and put his arms around her.

"I will ask him and in shaa Allah but now we need to go and have dinner and then you need to take your medications," Azhar said.

They both got up and walked outside the room and into the kitchen.

Azhar got a message from his father-in-law to go and see him at the office as he didn't want Nadia to know anything. He replied and told him that he would be there the next day as Zianna would be visiting his mother and sister.

I want to help my wife but how could I when it is about her stepmother? I will have to talk to Samir about this and talk to my father-in-law about getting Mrs Nadia investigated.

Meanwhile, Nadia was furious because of what she found out about Hussein's accident. But what confused her was the fact that Hussein hadn't said anything to her and neither did her children.

Could he be planning something? I dont think so because no one saw him do it.

No, no this can't be happening to me. How can make it look like it is his fault and not mine? After all, people would believe someone who doesn't have a job and is a bum.

Hussein watched his wife as she was typing on her phone. He couldn't believe that his wife was someone who would hurt Zianna just because she existed.

I will get to the bottom of this and I will protect Zianna with my life.

A few days later, Azhar, Tayyal and his sister were meeting at Hussein's office. Azhar already explained to Hussein about including Samir as he could help them investigate what exactly happened years ago to Hania.

Hania's death was something that had always been in Hussein's mind ever since the phone call.

"Dad, are you sure about this?" Nour asked. "Should we involve Dahlia..."

"I don't think we should involve her. She is younger and doesn't need this things in her life. She needs to be happy," Tayyal answered. "She needs stability and some day I will personally tell her about this," he added.

"Your brother is right Nour. Dalia, shouldnt be involved in this because she young and doesnt need to know anything just yet," Hussein said. "Now, I need to tell you a few things about your mother and I know that you might not be able to believe me but I hope you will," He added.

Hussein started explaining how he met their mother and their marriage. 

"When I visited your grandparents, they sat me down and explained a few things to me about your mother. How she would treat them and how much she changed during marriage. They wanted me to marry Hania because of the way she was. In their words, she was exactly the person I needed in my life. I disagreed with them. They gave me a choice, I meet her and then make a decision about saying no or yes to marrying her," Hussein explained and then took a deep breath. "I met her and I felt something that day, something that I lost whenever I was with your mother. I wont say that I didnt love your mother but she made our marriage into a chore instead of a relationship. Hania was different in many ways. The first time we met, she told me that it's okay if I didnt want to marry her. And she will respect my decision and will tell my parents that she was the one who rejected me instead of the other way. But something was stopping me from saying no to the marriage. I said yes and I fell in love with Hania in the years we were married. She made me love life and then Zianna was born, thats when our family was complete," Hussein added, wiping tears from his face.

"Dad, you dont have to say all that..."

Hussein shook his head and said; "This is something you three must know. You, Azhar, are also part of the family. Take care of Zianna. One day everything fell apart because of one message from your mother. I found out that she had a secret phone that she would send me threatening messages. Nadia sent the message when she was pregnant with Dalia and I had to do something that broke my heart. I had to divorce the woman who made me happy. Who cared for me and loved me for me and not for things that I could provide. I hated myself for abandoning my wife and daughter because of the threats I received.  A few days ago, I contacted Samir, Azaan's best friend and asked him to investigate Nadia and if he finds anything to come personally and let me know. He made a discovery about my accident. Someone cut my car brake and he didn't want to say who told him to do it. I am here to talk to you about divorcing your mother and move out of the house. I can't stay with someone who would do anything to hurt a innocent person who doesn't even know anything."

Tayyal and Nour felt what their father has been going through these past few years especially when Nadia has been telling them lies about Zianna and her mother.

Nour couldn't help but feel guilty about the things she had done to Zianna due to her mother's manipulations. But now she is willing to help Zianna be happy and healthy.

"As you wish, dad. Tay and I are with you in this. Do what is best for you and be happy. You deserve it," Nour says, surprising her father. "I know that I havent been the best sister to Zianna, now it is my chance to be the older sister she will always count on," she added, making her father smile.

Talking and listening might be two different things but they get along together as one. Listen before you say anything.
