"Well maybe you should talk to him" she said

"Tell me about what it's like" I said

"What do you mean?" She asked

"What's it like being a wolf shifter?" I asked

"Well other then the hate for vampires and the need to keep our anger at bay it's blissful really, running in wolf form is refreshing really" she said

"Can you Umm show me?" I asked

"I don't know if that's a good idea Eve" she said

"Please I'll stay far back until your changed then I'll come out only when you tell me to" I pleaded

"Fine but if you tell anyone I'm screwed ok" she said

"Yay" I giggled and I walked with her out back

I watched as we walked into the forest and she stopped me at a point and told me not to move. I did as told and then I heard bones shifting and out came a beautiful wolf. She was a mix of grays, browns and whites it was stunning and I couldn't help but feel extremely excited. I waited until she gave me the signal which was her laying down on the ground. I smiled widely for the first time in a long ass time. I walked over to her and began to pet her causing a soft purr like sound to come from her causing me to giggle.

"I kinda wish I could turn into a wolf your fur is so soft" I said to which she shook her head

Suddenly she stood up quickly and nearly knocked me down. She got into a protective stance in front of me and began growling. Of course I wasn't part of the pack like that so I couldn't even know what was wrong. Until it happened she growled and began to circle me to protect me from the unknown. Until the unknown wasn't unknown anymore and the familiar red haired vampire appeared. I gasped and gripped Leah's fur tightly with fear. While Leah snapped at the women who was coming towards us.

"Stop please don't do this" I begged

"Oh sweet thing this will torment Bella" she said

"It's not my fault your mate is dead it's Bella's and Edward not mine I didn't do anything wrong please" I said shaking in fear

"You might be protected now but I can fight her" she said

"They won't let you kill me, I'm protected by a pack of them not just her" I said confidently

"Well well we'll look who joined us" she said as the others began to come out

I looked around me and spotted a wolf that had a familiarity to them. I knew instantly without a doubt it had to be Paul and he let out a whimper when he saw me. And then looked at the vampire and growled loudly at her. Leah then lightly nudged me and pointed in the direction of her house. I immediately understood that she wanted me to run and I did exactly that. I bolted towards the house and didn't stop until I was inside and locked the front door.
