18 DAYS AFTER INCIDENT

It's been a little over a week since the latest incident between Luan and Lori, but things still aren't getting better like the parents hoped. Luan still hated Lori which is starting to piss their other children off. Such a situation was new to the Loud parents since none of their children can hold a grudge for this long. 

"Lynn...This is getting out of control." Rita Said in their bedroom.

"I know. I thought having them stay clear off each other would work, but it seems like a harder approach is needed to stop all of this madness." Lynn Sr. Said.

"Which begs the question...Have we become soft when it comes to punishing our kids?" Rita Said.

"To be honest, yes. I mean..we've been so strict on Lincoln, but we let our daughters run wild. I think that seeing them become so successful has blinded us and made us treat them favorably." Lynn Sr. Said.

"Really?" Rita Said.

"Yes. Remember when you grounded Lincoln for making a mess in the supermarket." Lynn Sr. Said.

"Yeah. What's your point?" Rita Said.

"What if Lincoln wasn't the one who made that mess? What if it was the girls?" Lynn Sr. Said.

"But that would mean that I grounded my son for nothing." Rita Said.

"Unfortunately we both have grounded Lincoln for almost nothing. I mean..what kind of parents are we if we hardly ground 9 of our kids and only ground one? Face it Rita...we can't call ourselves parents if we don't show any backbone." Lynn Sr. Said.

"You're right. What happened to us? We both promised to look after and to protect our son yet...we let him suffer while allowing the girls to do whatever they want. Like that Bad Luck Incident nonsense...We basically broke the law and we could've lost Lincoln and Lily to the system while the rest of the kids suffer." Rita said.

"Well that stops now...Let's promise to be better parents than we have been Rita." Lynn Sr. Said.

"Sure Lynn." Rita said as they started to hug each other before they heard some yelling upstairs and rushed upstairs to see Luan pinned down into the ground and Lincoln and Leni grounding Lori's room.

"What is going on here?" Rita yelled.

"Well...Luan was trying to get into Lori's room again and we managed to stop her from doing anything drastic." Lincoln Said.

"Thanks felling us Lincoln. Now for the bigger picture..Luan, What have I told you about going near Lori?" Rita Said.

"But she..." Luan Said.

"She what? She tried to apologize for what she's done? Try to regain your forgiveness for an accident that she had no idea was going to happen? Luan...Your father and I recently had a talk about our parenting and realized that we're been too soft on you girls. So this is what is going to happen...Lori is going to move back to the garage...where she can finally have some peace and won't worry about the possibility of her sister trying to kill her. And if you think that you can sneak past all of us and head to towards it without us knowing...think again. If you do much as breath near it...your five month grounding will extend until you're eighteen years old." Rita Said.

"You can't do that..." Luan said.

"I just did. Luan...you brought on yourself with your actions. Be thankful that we haven't even considered having you taken to juvie or having Lori get a restraining order against you." Rita Said.  

"That's not fair...Why are you..." Luan said before she noticed Rita's glare.

"Not fair? NOT FAIR? LUAN...YOU'VE BEEN TREATING LORI LIKE A PARIAH ALL OVER THAT STUPID DUMMY!! YOU HEARD ME...MR.COCONUTS IS JUST A THING THAT CAN EASILY BE REPLACED WHILE LORI CAN'T BE REPLACED BY ANY MEANS. DON'T YOU REALIZE THAT YOU'RE HURTING HER BY NOT ALLOWING HER TO APOLOGIZE! " Rita yelled. Luan felt her blood boil and tried to speak back to her mother before Luna wisely covered her mouth with her hands.

"Luan...It'll be wise for you to keep your mouth shut before Mom takes away your comedy things." Luna Said.

"Now that this is out of the way...Luan, you're going to see a therapist first thing...Saturday morning. And if you even say a curse word in front of your little siblings again...I will personally see it that you start spending more time in your room with no TV access." Rita Said as she went downstairs letting Luna drag Luan back to her room and giving Lincoln and Leni a chance to sigh.

"Linky...Will things go back to normal now?" Leni asked.

"No. I have a feeling like this will get a lot worse than it already is." Lincoln Said as the scene shifted to Lori's room where she was writing in her diary.

"Sniff...I hate this. I just want this all to end." Lori Said to herself before she stood up and crawled on her bed..letting us see a passage on the page.

Everyday is a challenge. Luan hates me. My friends are concerned about me. And Bobby and Carol are rubbing their love in my face. I fear that one day I will snap and do something that will break my family apart. Hopefully brighter days are ahead because...

I don't think that I can handle much more.
