Barry was broken. After zoom, Savitar and DeVoe he believed he was truly broken. Barry had become a shut-in. He never left his room unless absolutely necessary. Barry quit his job at CCPD and had taken a break from being the Flash. He was unhealthy and barely bothering to eat or sleep. Barry just sat in his room reading or staring off into space.

"Bear?" Barry's wife Iris said as she walked in sitting on their bed. "Hmm?" he said making the place in the book he was reading and setting it down looking up at her. "Did you eat today?" She asked softly. Barry nodded "I had something this morning," He said. "Barry it's nine at night... I worry about you" she said quietly. "I'm sorry," he said blankly. "No your not Barry. Do you even love me anymore?" She asked a tear rolling down her cheek. "I'm gay" he blurted out.

"What. no your not you wouldn't have married me if you were gay..." she said. "I thought I was bi and don't get me wrong I love you I do but... like a sister..." he said. "Your an asshole and you chose now of all times to tell me!" she yelled. "What's so wrong with now?" he asked. "I'm pregnant!" she yelled tears rolling down her cheek. "I- w- is it mine?" He asked. She made an offended noise and slapped him. "Okay nope I deserved that, but what the fuck," He said holding his red and soon to be swollen eye. "I can't believe you, Barry Allen, you are a fucking asshole!" She yelled crying. "Ires I'm so sorry I really am I never meant to hurt you I just can't hide who I am anymore," Barry said trying to stay calm and not snap. "You're the father of my baby and you choose not to be gay!" She yelled. "That's not how it works ires. Listen, I'm going to go see a friend in star city and I'm gonna stay with him for a little while and give you some space. Let me know when your first ultrasound is and I'll be there. I'm not leaving you alone ires I love and care about you just not in the way you want me to." Barry said softly.

"HIM! Did you cheat on me!" she yelled. "Of course not Ires you know I would never do something like then I'm gonna go stay with Ollie." He said. "That doesn't make me feel any better everyone knows you have a crush on him. Everyone but you and Oliver" She snapped. "I don't have a crush on Oliver. Yeah sure he's hot no one will deny that but I don't have a crush on him" He retaliated. "Yeah okay," She said rolling her eyes. Barry huffed and grabbed a bag of a few things. Ires didn't say anything as Barry left and headed to Star City.
