"Wait;" Nadia started, looking at Christian, "so you knew too?"
Christian was in no mood to to talk to anyone with how upsetting his day was going. Not only had he been accused by Carla and Polo about being a thief, he was having his own problems at home, and now he was one hundred and one percent sure he'd lost his friend.
It hurt him.
In response, he simply shrugged his frown more developing on his face which for him, was unusual.
"And we didn't know that you knew either, how did you find out?" Samuel included, shifting in his seat.
"I caught them in the changing room like one week after school started." Nadia answered.
"Joder." Samuel sighed, rubbing his face, "they really don't like to be careful because that's how we caught them too but at Carla's party."
The trio continued to discuss what had happened while in the prep room because the whole day was spun upside down. They all shared a free-study period before it was time to go home. With everything that had just been revealed, Alejandro had left during that time, Guzman was nowhere to be seen, Lu and Carla paraded the school grounds with Polo, and Ander had sneaked out with Alejandro, seeing how distressed he was. It was in agreement that nothing was the same.
Nadia had no choice but to talk to only Samuel and Christian because phone usage wasn't allowed during school hours, but she had a sick feeling that Alaska wouldn't want to talk to her regardless. Ale certainly didn't.
"Nadia so that means you've known since the beginning of the school year. It's almost summer and you didn't tell her?" Christian asked, putting toward two together, "aren't you supposed to be her friend?" He judged, making Nadia scoff.
"I'm the bad friend? What about you, huh? You got seduced into not talking to her about it for months. Who's worse?"
Their conversation was cut short when Samuel suddenly barged up when he noticed Martin and Marina in the hallway, and he felt anger boiling inside him when he remembered the conversation he'd over read saying there was a slight possibility she was pregnant.

"Lucrecia I am very disappointed in you; very." Ander's mother scolded when Martin stormed out of the office after being newly fired. Once again, Marina had foiled her plans completely which caused Martin to get fired and herself on the brink of expulsion. She would never say it out loud, but the sick feeling in her stomach was
"You're making a huge mistake believing Marina -"
"Denying it only insults my intelligence. Which earns you two months of suspension instead of one."
Lu felt herself choking a little bit as she faced the woman with wide eyes. Surely she was joking.
"We're just in the middle of exams -"
"You will take you exams in September when school reopens. I'm not impressed with this behaviour at all, Lucrecia - Marina please give us the room." The older woman started but then signalled for Marina to leave.
After the redhead closed the door, she continued.
"This behaviour is appalling. Bribery, lying, bullying -"
"I haven't bullied anyone -"
"I heard about your little 'announcement' today that caused Alaska Velazquez to go home. And like I said, please don't insult my intelligence because I also know that you've not been the biggest activate for the scholarship students either. You are a top tier student at this school and you missing your exams and being suspended hurts me more than you think because I want to see you succeed. But this is unacceptable." Was all she said and faced the other way, suggesting that she was done with the conversation.
With nothing else to say, Lu got up and left.
Alejandro Velazquez world flipped just merely minutes after Alaska stormed out.
Shortly after Alaska had stormed out, his twin was hot on her tail. But by the time he had made it out, it was too late and she was already gone. He stood in the hallway, just a little bit lost as he frustratedly ran his hands through his hair. About an hour later, he received a message from their mother saying Alaska had arrived home twenty minutes prior and if everything was okay. His mind was clouded with different thoughts and possibilities from the morning until the very moment after school when he was knocking on her door.
"Ala . . ." he knocked on the door, but there was no response.
"Alaska." He tried again with a louder voice just incase she couldn't hear him the first time. But who was he kidding? He couldn't hear anything but dead silence on the other side of the door. The blonde felt his hand shaking ever so slightly as he knocked and called again for the third time, fourth time, fifth time.
No answer.
For a moment, he thought that maybe she wasn't even there but that was just him trying to make himself feel better again. He tried again in the evening, no response. The next Saturday morning, nothing. But he didn't give up. He did however, briefly take a break when Alba told him he had a friend at the door. Ander's mop of hair facing the TV in the living room was the first thing he noticed when he walked in.
He had only come to pass by on his way to tennis to check in on his two friends after everything that happened. Alejandro filled him in but there was nothing to say. He told her that she hadn't come out of her room since the afternoon before and Alba had to leave food in front of her door which she wouldn't eat either. After Ander reassured him and told him not to give up, Ale used his new found hope to get back in front of the door right after Ander stopped by.
"Ala, please open the door." he asked again, knocking on the door for what felt like the hundredth time. He slid down the door, sitting against it with defeat.
"Ala, just . . . please just listen to me. I want one minute to talk to you, please." He begged once more, feeling deflated.
Seconds passed, there was no response. Alejandro just sat down, staring across the hallway where his own door sat as his mind drifted further and further away as his eyes landed on big dent in the large oak door. He chuckled slightly as he thought of the memory.
It happened when they were both around eight or nine years old. Alejandro had gotten a new table tennis table which he'd been wanting for months. He played with his friends and when they weren't there, Alba morning, noon, and night. Never had a wink of sleep because that was all he was looking forward to.
And Alaska hated that.
His twin sister was jealous at the fact that her best friend was spending every hour of the day playing that, especially since she didn't know how to play so she couldn't play with him. Her solution? She grabbed the bats and hid them in her room. Obviously, it was only a matter of time until their father figured out that Alaska had it the whole time, but the older man decided to let them sort the situation out themselves. He knew how possessive his daughter was of her brother but Alejandro wanted him to do something about it, so his grand plan was he wasn't going to talk to her until she gave the bats back.
After six days of the torture, Alejandro was getting more fed up and confronted her but she got angry and voiced that he was spending all the time playing table tennis and banged the bats on his door and on the walls until they were nothing. The walls were re-plastered but the door was scarred till this day.
Two hours was the longest Ale went without talking to her after that incident and she learned her lesson for sure.
So lost in thought, Alejandro didn't realise the movement until a thump on the door near his ear broke him from his thoughts.
He flinched slightly, but readjusted his position.
"A-Ala?" He asked again with nervousness.
From the other side, his very distraught, very heartbroken twin leaned her head on her door, and with red-rimmed eyes and a croaky voice:
"You have a sixty seconds."
Alejandro sighed with relief, quickly going in with an apology.
"Alaska, I am so so sorry. I'm sorry I didn't tell you earlier, and I know you must be so hurt and I'll do whatever it takes -"
"Ten seconds gone."
"Ala I don't know how to even explain my role in this to you because I hardly did anything. And maybe that's the problem, I should have done something but I'm willing to do whatever you want me to just so you can come out for me to look into your eyes and tell you the whole truth. I'm begging." He uttered as fast as he could knowing she was taking the sixty seconds very seriously.
"You'll do whatever I want?"
Alejandro was slightly worried at how unlike herself she sounded. The only other time she was so shut down was when their father died.
"Ala, I'll do anything." He pleaded desperately.
"If you'll do anything . . . then leave me alone," she croaked again.
Ale felt his own heart breaking as he heard how void that simple sentence sounded.

Inside her room, Alaska felt nothing.
After storming out of Martin's classroom, the blonde felt as though she needed to get her thoughts together or her mind right. In that moment, all she wanted to do was calm down and count to ten. She could feel the blood rushing to all parts of her body from her head to her fingertips. She ducked into the washroom, which was two doors down and went into a cubicle immediately after seeing three girls in there.
Ala felt her breathe thickening and wavering so heavily as she leaned her head on the wall, gently pressing on it as her fingers shook with anxiety in the small white cubicle. Her ears were ringing, her throat was closing up, and she felt sweat building up on her forehead from the wave of heat she was suddenly feeling. It didn't take a genius to know that she was having a panic attack.
Not feeling herself get any better, Alaska shakily took out her phone to request an Uber which would take her back home.
Home was even worse.
As soon as she slammed the door of her bedroom, that was when she felt herself becoming unhinged with her thoughts crumbling down on her. There was nothing she more than a long cold shower to relax her mind because of how lightheaded she felt, but as soon ask she collapsed on the edge of her bed, she couldn't get up.
Everything was making sense.
As she sat at the foot of her bed, she slid on the carpet her hair in front of her face, Alaska was thinking about what Lu said. Every single time she would be just hanging out with Guzman, at least once he would receive a call or a text which changed his mood. Sometimes he would leave after receiving them with almost the same excuse each time.
His mother wanted him home.
He was helping Marina.
Something about the boys, whether it was a football game or help in general that one or both of them needed. And Ala never. questioned it because it's not in her character to do so and he never gave her an excuse to doubt him once.
She didn't know whether or not it was a good thing that her phone hadn't buzzed once. No one messaged her but it was kind of like no one dared to. Ala noticed the backpack sitting on her bed and immediately rushed to retrieve the device. She didn't want a text from anyone else except the person who the whole ordeal was even about - Guzman.
There was a slim chance that Lu said everything she did simply out of spite and the only reason none of her friends stood up to face her was because they were too in shock.
The truth needed to come from Guzman.
At least that's what she told herself with nervousness just wanting it so badly to be true.
Stupidly enough, she realised her wifi hadn't been turned on. That was when the influx of texts came, yet they were only from Alejandro and a few from Ander and Marina. She sorted though them and ignored each one, only searching for Guzman's if there should be any.
And there was.
From - G💙:
I'm sorry.
Anyone who would be watching from a distance who knew her would think that this was the part of her where the rage would fill inside of her and the phone would be the first thing which flew across the wall, and all the other objects in her bedroom would be next following by a number of screams.
But in that moment she switched off her phone for good and quietly set it down on the large bed behind her, her breathing was ragged, her throat was closing up, and before she realised tears were rolling down her eyes, and would be for the rest of the night as she sobbed in her palms.
Because for the first time in a long time, she had been let down by people she let get close to her even though she wanted to protect herself, and this time, she didn't have the only person she counted on to be there for her because he had let her down too.
She was alone.

A/N:
Short on purpose, I promise. Only cause this one was solely to show what happened afterwards. For some reason, I couldn't access my writing page on safari for days and then exams came so sorry this is delayed but I hope you enjoyed it. SEASON 4 CONFIRMED SO THAT'S EXCITING. I'm anxious to see how it goes.
In other news, #JusticeforGeorgeFloyd.
