You walked up the stairs and noticed a certain blonde leaning against a wall.

'You came..'

'You sound surprised. Why wouldn't I come?' He asked.

'Wouldn't that be easier?' You asked.

Draco looked at you in confusion.

'What?' He asked.

'Well.. You want to break up with me. Don't you?' You asked.

Draco was flustered by what you were saying.

'You're crazy. Why would you think that?! Why would I want to break up with you?!' He asked.

'You're ignoring me, you don't want to secretly meet me, when I hug you you don't hug me back, when I kiss you you push me away! Are you in love with someone else?! Or is that just you being an idiot?!' You hissed.

'You pulled me into a broom closet in front of every one! We could have been seen! Just like you kissed me in the middle of the staircase! I thought you were angry at me so I let you be. No I'm not in love with someone else.'

'So this is all my fault? Of course... It's always my fault..  Isn't it Draco?!' You asked.

'It was partly me being an idiot but it wasn't all my fault.' He said calmly.

You looked at him and sighed.

'I just thought you cared about us.. I just.. I'm worried about you.' You said.

Draco sighed and looked out of one of the windows. He shook his head.

'This..  this is all your fault Y/N. Why? Why do you have to be so sweet and.. I can't.. I just can't.' He said.

That took a sudden turn. You looked at him and he stepped away from the wall.

'What?' You asked in confusion.

'I'm sorry.. I lied. Non of this is your fault! Everything is my fault. There are things going on that I want to protect you from.. I thought that if I would push you away you would eventually break up with me so I wouldn't have to hurt you more then I was doing.. when you told me you needed to talk or else we would be over..  I wasn't planning on coming. But.. something made me go.. You made me go.'

'Protect me from what?' You asked.

'I can't tell you.. all I can say is.. you're the best thing that has happened to me in a long time. I just.. I can't lose you. Not like this..  and I promise you it will get better. I just need time to solve this.. to do what is required.' Draco said.

You walked towards him and placed your hand on his cheek.

'I'll trust you on this one.. I love you.. So much.. I hope you know that.'

Draco smiled and pulled you closer. He pressed his lips against yours and you kissed him back. He pulled back after a while.

'Just stay by my side.. I won't let anything overcome you or hurt you. I'm happy you trust me.' He smiled. 'Things will get better.. in the end.'

You nodded and kissed him shortly.

'Get some rest Dray.. I'm sorry for over reacting. I should have talked to you.'

'It's fine.. it really is.'

The next days you felt lots better. Even though you didn't know what could possibly happen to you, you were happy you and Draco were okay again. You already told Hermione, Ron and Harry not to worry to much. You didn't tell them what Draco told you. You had been meeting up again and things were almost as good as ever.

Now you, Ron, Harry and Hermione were sitting in the three broomsticks. You weren't really listening to anything they were saying. You were thinking about Christmas and how you were going to stay at Hogwarts for Draco.

Speaking about the devil.. Draco walked in with a bag in his hand. He passed you a small invisible smile and disappeared into the bathroom.

'Y/N?'

You looked up.

'Sorry.' You said. 'What did you ask?'

Hermione grinned.

'Are you you going home this Christmas?' She asked.

'No.. I'm staying at Hogwarts.. Draco is also staying. I figured he could use someone to celebrate with.' You smiled slightly.

'Something has been bothering me.' Ron said. 'Look at Ginny and Dean being all disgusting and stuff..'

You glanced over at them.

'Don't you miss that in your relationship? I mean..  how far can you guys go?' Ron asked.

'We haven't gone far. I held his hand once.. all we do is hug and kiss and meet up in secret. But almost all the Slytherins will be gone during Christmas. My roommates..  his roommates.. I might even be able to sleep in his bed for the first time.'

That thought made you blush and smile. You took a sip from your butterbeer.

'Y/N.. don't you want to take your relationship further.. to the next level?' Hermione asked.

'Guys stop! I don't want to think about Y/N and Malfoy.. taking their relationship further. It's in the right place.' Harry sighed.

'We've been dating for almost 2 years now.. of course I want that Hermione.' You said, completely ignoring Harry. 'The problem is.. I don't know what Draco wants and if we'll even get the chance to.'

You finished your butterbeer and pushed you glass away with a sigh.

Draco left the bathroom and walked away. You followed him with your eyes. He walked outside.

'I'll be right back.'

You walked after Draco, grabbed his sleeve and pulled him towards the shrieking shack. You didn't go there you just stopped near the fence.

'Hello beautiful. What can I do for you?' He asked.

'I.. I had a question.' You spoke with red cheeks.

Draco smiled.

'You can ask me anything.'

'So..erm.. I'm going to.. You know.. stay here during Christmas and I.. erm.. was wondering .. seeing that almosg all the Slytherins will be gone... if you maybe wanted to sleep with me.'

Your head was about as red and Rons hair. Draco had to smile at that thought and his cheeks shot red. He smirked and moved some hair out of your face.

'Do you want that?' He asked.

You nodded. Draco smiled and leaned in towards your ear.

'Only if you promise you'll sleep in my shirt.' He whispered, causing the hairs in your neck to stand up. 'Promise?' He asked.

'Promise.' You smiled and kissed him.

His kissed you back before walking away. You headed back to the three broomsticks. Hermione had her arms wrapped around the shoulders of the two boys and she was giggling.

'She had to much butterbeer.' Ron said. 'Where were you?'

'I had to ask Draco something.' You smiled. 'So, I guess we're going back?' You asked.

They nodded and you started walking back. But you were stopped. You saw Katie flying in mid air. She didn't look good. There was a necklace of the floor and she fell down. Hagrid hurried over.

'Don' touch her!' He said while hurrying over to her.
