50: Forgive Me

Spring Day- BTS

_____

Days continue to pass by in a blur, eventually it becoming weeks.

Four weeks specifically.

Jungkook hasn't returned home, even after his parents has tried to reach out to him, he would just ignore their calls and only sent a single message that he was out when they threatened to call the cops. He's been staying at Yoongi's house for the meantime, helping him with any financial things, such as rent or food, despite the fact Yoongi refused to let him pay for anything. Jungkook's not ready to face them yet, even though he knows he can't just stay at Yoongi's forever, one day he will have to face his demons.

Lately Jungkook has also been looking for apartment discreetly, trying to find one for him and Jimin the second they finish high school so they can escape this ugly reality they were forced to live in. As of now he found one that he has taken to consideration, but the pricing it a bit high so he will have to keep looking or see if he can deal his way around it.

Speaking of his relationship with Jimin, the pair has been much stronger together than they have ever been before, despite not having a solid title yet. They have actually been seeking counseling to better improve their relationship, as in; with their depression and suicidal thoughts. Ever since they've been meeting with the kind Dr. Park Seojoon, they have found themselves being able to over come obstacles more efficiently and in healthy ways.

They have not attempted or have thought of suicide.

The school has not bothered the pair ever since Jimin's out break with Taehyung a month ago, on contraire, they give them their respect and give them their space. Ty with his posse did bother Jimin at first, but after a little death threat from Damien one day they attempted to beat Jimin up while Jungkook was in class, Ty never spoke to Jimin again. Recently the small brunette has been assigned to tutor Damien since he's been slacking with a few of his class. It was nerve wrecking for Jimin at first since Damien was still his bully, even if he defended him a few times, but then after a while Jimin discovered something that made those nerves slightly drain down; and it was how Damien's parents were a strict atheist family, and they were very harsh on him on terms of religion. It got to the point he hated anyone that was religious, explaining why he couldn't stand Jimin to start with.

In a way Jimin felt like he could relate to him, with his own strict religious house hold and being in an environment where one has to be forced to be a certain way, and after the pair got into a more deeper discussion about it, they became well acquaintances after that.

As for the teen isles of the school, or the Golden Alpha boys, they still exist. None of them have spoken to Jungkook ever since what happened, at all. The ravenette would see them huddle up by Taehyung's locker all the time, laugh and giggle fondly as if he was never missed. Sadly, Jimin already suspected this to happen. It hurt Jungkook the thought that he may not have been as important as he hoped he was to them, Jimin could see that behind his eyes, so he would try to find ways to cheer him up or steer him away from those vultures.

They seem perfectly fine without him.

Well..... So Jungkook thought.

As Jungkook and Jimin walk hand in hand down the empty hallways of the school, finishing up their small study session for an incoming test, they didn't reach their destination of Jimin's locker due to the sound of someone weeping reaching their ears.

Jimin perks an eyebrow as he scours the area around them, seeing the hallway completely empty.

What type of horror movie is this?

The couple slowly glance at each other and proceed to continue to move to Jimin's locker, not falling for the temptation of the crying. However, the closer they got to Jimin's locker, the more louder and clearer they heard the crying. It was when they approached the end of the row of lockers where they catch glimpse of a familiar boy sitting against the corner with his knees to his chest, crying hard against it.

Oh..... That's.... Awkward.

Once again did Jungkook and Jimin uneasily glance are each other, not knowing what to do in this scenario at all. However, from the pair, Jungkook being the kind and angelic soul that he is nods to the boy with eyes still on Jimin, suggesting they talk to him.

Jimin on the other hand shakes his head stubbornly, saying he's not going to do anything and that they should just keep walking.

Jungkook slightly glares at him with slump shoulders and gestures back to the boy more eagerly, not having the heart to just walk away.

Jungkook is the literal angel in this relationship, an angel that Jimin can never resist.

For a long moment Jimin stares at the weeping child on the floor, who has not noticed them yet, and painfully closes his eyes while facing the ceiling, giving in as Jungkook drags him to the individual by the corner.

"Seokjin?"

The boy's head snaps up, revealing his blotchy cheeks and bloodshot eyes from crying. Jungkook frowns halfheartedly while Jimin only glares annoyedly at the wall with arms crossed, loving and hating Jungkook's pure heart at this very moment.

They don't deserve his kindness.

"Kookie?" Seokjin whimpers and scrambles to his feet, instantly latching his whole body onto him. Jimin sneers his gaze from the wall to watch Seokjin intently, making sure this isn't just some twisted trick to get Jungkook back to that toxic aura.

Jungkook stands still, not knowing what to do with his arms and he looks at Jimin with a look. Jimin got the message and only shakes his head and walks to his locker, in which was just a few steps away to give them privacy.

If Jungkook wanted to talk to them, he can definitely do that, but Jimin doesn't want to be part of it.

The ravenette sighs heavily and pats Seokjin's head awkwardly, "It's after school hours, you should be home," Jungkook says, moving his eyes to an unfazed Jimin putting his things away in his locker.

Seokjin parted from him and wipes his nose with his sleeve, "Do you hate me Jungkook?"

Despite Jimin's unbothered expression, in the inside he just wanted to rip his ears off from the whiny plead of Seokjin's question.

Pry him in with empathetic questions, of course.

Don't fall for it Kookie, think wisely.

Jungkook stares at the other boys with hesitant eyes and sighs, "No..... You should go, it's getting late," Jungkook sighs and turns around, walking in Jimin's direction, who's gathering his homework to shove it it inside his backpack.

The smaller notices his lover beside him and perks an eyebrow while closing his locker, "Ready to go?"

"Yea-"

A loud cry echoes the hallway and Jungkook instantly feels arms wrapping themselves around his torso from behind, along with the vibration shaking of a body sobbing.

Jimin's eyes widen in shock as Seokjin latches onto Jungkook's body once again, weeping heavily as he holds onto him for dear life.

Seriously?

After a month and now he wants to miss him?

He should've known what he had to begin with.

"Please don't leave! I'm so sorry, I really am!" Seokjin sobs and squeezes him tighter, "Thinking about that day drives me insane and I-I can't deal with it! You have been a good friend to me and I am a shitty person for not being there for you when you needed me! I'm sorry!"

Both Jimin and Jungkook don't know what to think about the apology. They are conflicted  whether to believe he's actually genuine about it or he's just trying to pull something. Despite the unknown of the other's intentions, if there's something this specific couple knows and acknowledges it's forgiveness.

Well, Jungkook learned it more from Jimin actually; forgiveness is sometimes the key for a calm life, to live with peace.

They want that positive aura around them, and holding onto grudges will only provide nothing but suffering and pain.

And Jungkook needs that peace in his life.

So that's how Jungkook managed to say, "I forgive you."

And that was almost like a switch.

Seokjin suddenly stops crying and Jimin mentality began to prepare himself to jump as his lover's protective shield if he needs it.

Jimin will not let Jungkook be taken as an idiot, nor let his kindness be his weakness.

The golden boy  rises his head up and walks around to look at Jungkook, the light filling his eyes once again.

"Really? You do?"

Jungkook stares at him for a brief moment and his face got tense up, "Yeah, sure. Doesn't mean everything will be the same again though. I'm doing this for me, not for you."

There's my strong lovely.

Seokjin frowns deeply and nods, "I understand," and that's when he turns around, facing Jimin with wide puppy eyes, "I'm sorry for you too Jimin, I didn't do anything as those bullies picked on you nor did I defend you. A friend isn't suppose to be like that, and I didn't know what I was thinking when-"

"Right, you didn't know," Jimin murmurs sarcastically, making Seokjin bow his head a little more in shame, "Jungkook spoke for both of us, you are forgiven..... But unlike him, I don't want you anywhere near me. I don't want to risk another disappointment. So don't hurt Jungkook," and Jimin slams his locker shut and walks away, leaving Seokjin weeping quietly while Jungkook stares at his tiny lover with sparkling eyes.

Jungkook can only imagine how this whole situations sits on Jimin, especially since he has never had any friends before, except for them. At the moment Jimin doesn't want to risk his happiness again, and Jungkook understands that. All they showed him is how a moment happiness may be there one second and then the next it will be filled with sorrow.

Filled a love that wasn't real.

Meanwhile, Jimin really grew to love their friendship, unlike Jungkook who managed to separate his feelings of their friendship since he knew what they were capable of doing.

Jimin doesn't want to be sensitive to them anymore.

And Jungkook knows how that feels like. So that's why he only pats Seokjin's shoulder lightly and walks away, trailing behind his small lover all the way to the entrance of the school.

"Jimin, wait," Jungkook calls out as he reaches Jimin's arm and carefully turns him around, meeting with Jimin's icy eyes, "Hey, it's alright, calm down."

Jimin rolls his eyes and shakes his head, "I'm not mad..... It's just... I don't want neither of us to get hurt again because of them.... I don't want you to be disappointed if something bad happens. So I'm sorry if my attitude was too much, but I'm not sorry for what I said to him-"

Jungkook cuts him off by pressing his lips down to his, smiling softly and carefully pulls away, "I'm not upset, if that's what you're worried about. You're speaking, and I like that. Don't be afraid to speak your mind," he murmurs fondly and pinches his cheek, "I love you."

Jimin's pout transformed to a wide smile and he wraps his arms around Jungkook's tiny waist, "I love you," he murmurs fondly, feeling his heart gently skip a beat before he pulls away, "I'm stay at the school for a while, I have something to do. Same time tonight at my place?"

"Of course," Jungkook gleams and pinches his cheek, "Be careful okay?"

Jimin nods cutely, raising up to his toes and pressing a kiss against his cheek before walking back inside the school, not seeing Seokjin anywhere in sight.

Good, the least thing he needs is for his blood pressure to rise.

Jimin looks around for a moment before walking down the hallway and up the stairs until he finally arrives to a familiar room, having the door thankfully be opened already. It's been a while since Jimin has stepped into the dance room, and he's in this need to let out some steam after all the stress he has to deal with.

So cutely he skids across the wooden floor, making sure the door is closed shut behind him before approaching the radio, happily to see the CD there in place as always.

Someone in the last class must really like this CD  as much as he does.

The small brunette begins to stretch and warm up before scrolling through the music options until he stopped on a familiar song.

A song that always manages to strike an emotional nerve in Jimin's heart that fills itself with pain.

Spring Day.

He closes his eyes for a moment and lets that emotion take over his body, and soon enough, the beat began to take over his pulses. He follows through the smooth voice and gets lost to the feeling of the lyrics with fluid dance moves.

Out of the many times Jimin has danced before, this feels like this is the first time he's dancing.

And it feels beautiful.

It's so beautiful getting lost into the rhythm, and it blinded Jimin from feeling inventive eyes on him from the door outside the classroom. The figure watches carefully, feeling a sense of tranquility upon seeing the familiar male dancing once again. Everyday they would come in the studio and put the CD in the player and wait, but the dancer never showed up for many days, even weeks, until today.

And their wait didn't la set long.

It's pure joy and relief they have never felt before from seeing Jimin exploding in that room, all the emotions he's been building up for days.

One day the figure will have the courage to approach the smaller male properly, and be able to express how much of a talented performer he is, but as of now they just watch.

How the angel slowly begins to practice how to fly.
