I slam my hand down on my alarm clock and quickly get dressed. Today start a new school call Divergent high. I put on a pair of black leggings, a black tank top, leather jacket, a grey scarf, and my combat boots. I go to the bathroom to put my hair in a messy bun and put concealer on my scares. After getting ready I walk into the kitchen and start on Andrews's breakfast. As soon as finish he walks into the kitchen with a bottle of liquor in his hand. He sits down and I place his plate in front of him. He stares at it like it grew eyes. "What exactly is this?" He asks. "Eggs, sausage, and toast." I reply making sure to avert eye contact. "Well that's not what I asked for." He gets angry and throws his bottle at me, I am able to doge it but end up falling in the process. While I am in the floor he walks over to kick m in the side and punch me in the jaw. I quickly get up and run to my room, I grab my make-up bag and cover up the bruises that are starting to form on my jaw. After covering the bruise I run downstairs to find Andrew passed out on the couch.

I quickly run to my new school, on the way there a car pulls up next to me. When they roll down there window I see a boy about my age with dark skin and eyes with a tattoo of a snake behind his ear. "Hey I'm Uriah. Are you heading to Divergent high?" I nod. "Hop on in then! I can give you a ride if you want?" I think about it for all I know he could be an axe murderer but if it means I don't have to walk I'm ok with it. I hope in and we drive. When we pull up I thank Uriah and head to the office. I get my schedule my secretary at look at what I have.

-First Period: Math- Mrs. Matthew.

-Second Period: Music- Mrs. Wu.

-Third Period: Science- Mr. Blakely.

-Fourth Period: Lunch

-Fifth Period: P.E- Coach Amar.

- Sixth Period: Art- Mrs. Wu.

After reading over my schedule I head to Math. This is a new start for me and I'm going to make the most of it.
