"Let's play Tag, Sister Krone."

「2nd Pov」

You, and the other siblings were currently hanging out outside. You held your book close to your chest, with Gilda next to you. You both were watching Emma sprinting, kicking the ball, and run to it, and repeated the same thing until she reached the forest.

"Emma is acting even more strange." Gilda whispered to you. You nodded your head in response.

"I don't get why Emma isn't bothering on telling us. I know Norman and Ray are her best friends, but she always tells me everything." Gilda looks down worried.

You look at Gilda, noticing her worried expression. You took your coin out and flipped it.

Heads

You placed a hand on her shoulder, "It's fine. If she keeps this much longer, we'll find out ourselves. We can bring Don along too, so we don't hide like Emma from him. I'll try to figure it out too." You said.

"Yeah. I guess you're right..." She trailed, before looking down. Gilda lifts her head up and faces you again. "Hey, (Y/n). I wanna know. If you do find out about what's wrong with Emma. Pinky Promise that you'll tell me or possibly Don?" She holds out her pinky.

You stared at her pinky, before taking your coin out and flipping it.

Heads

You look back at Gilda and her pinky. You take out your pinky and intertwined it with hers. "I promise..."

Gilda smiled at you and gave you a quick hug, before running off to play.

You walked away, putting all of the white cloths on the hangers. You can hear a faint sound of footsteps coming closer to you. "Hello, you must be (Y/n). One of the newest orphans, and one of the oldest here." It was sister krone's voice.

You turned your head to face her, with your facial expression hardly ever changing.

You nodded your head, before turning away and continuing your job. "I heard about you from Isabella. She told me that you're from the outside. And she said you hardly talk to anyone at all." She noted, with a smirk.

You continued to ignore her. "I also heard that, despite you being mute most of the time, your actually the best one here. Both being athletic, and intelligent. Oh, I wish I was like you when I was younger. And being able to go outside." She looked at you with a mischievous smirk.

You take your coin out and flipped it.

Heads

"Yes. That's true. Because I don't really spoke at all ever." You responded.

Sister Krone stares at you a bit longer, "Well, It was nice meeting you. Good luck. Tata!" She finally left.

You stare down at the white cloth in your hands. With a blank look. "Good luck, huh?" You muttered to yourself. You turn your head to watch the other siblings together, you shifted your head to the forest that your other three oldest siblings are in.

'Can I even do anything to help at all?'

Your attention was brought back, when you heard Norman. You turned your head at him, and he was saying that everyone should play tag. Emma runs up to you, "Come on, Let's go play Tag, (Y/n)!" Emma links her arm into yours, and drags you to the other kids.

"Okay. We're gonna be play Tag. We're gonna have Norman and (Y/n) be it. Split up everyone!" Emma shouts, as almost everyone runs into the forest. You simply stared at the forest,before turning your attention to Ray and Norman.

You flipped your coin.

Heads

"How come I am it as well?" You asked. "Haha, maybe it's because you barely are it, and you got a great mind at games aside from me." Norman said, scratching the back of his head. You three waited a bit longer, till Ray gave you guys the look to go find them. You both nodded and rushed into the forest.

You and Norman parted ways so you can each try to find different kids. You managed to find a few within a couple minutes, you also took notice on some things, their footprints, the silence, and how far they ran. You wasted no time on running, and continuing on finding your siblings.

Minutes have passed, and you and Norman managed to find everyone. You felt a gaze on you, as you turned your head to see Sister Krone smirking at everyone. "Playing tag looks like fun. I want to get along with everyone. So let's play Tag."

You, Norman, Emma, and Ray did not like the look on Sister Krone's face. "Let's set the match time limit for 20 minutes. And I'll be it. Everyone, try to run away from me." She warned.

Everyone runs into the forest again to hide, while Sister Krone was counting. You, Emma, Norman, and Ray were hiding in the trees.

Some time later, you all see the younger kids all gather up around where you guys were. "What's this?" Each of them said to each other. Soon or later, Sister Krone quickly pops out, and hugs all of the younger siblings there. "Guess I got you!" She cheerfully said.

As soon as she left, you four jumped out, and picked up the car bed leaves. You ll see that the leaves had shapes carved on them, "So she used these to lure the younger ones." Norman said as he sweats a bit.

"So she's not stupid." Ray said, before he threw it away. You took your coin out and flipped it quickly,

Heads

You look at them, "She used their curiosity to her advantage. Very clever indeed." You commented, and you all decided to split up.

You continued to run away from Sister Krone, since she was currently behind you, chasing after you. You were pretty fast, a bit faster than her.

While you were running, you see a couple of your younger siblings out in the open ahead of you, "Hey Emma!" Phil shouted, before Emma grabbed them both and sprinted.

You continued to run straight, while Sister Krone abandoned ok you and went after Emma instead. You quickly stopped, and turned to where they headed. You took your coin out.

'Tails to follow them. Heads to not follow them.' You flipped it.

Tails

You stared at your coin, before sprinting to where Sister Krone was. You started to jump onto the trees so you can get to Emma as fast as you can.

You kept jumping through the trees, until you spotted Emma.

You jumped to where the giant rocks were, as you saw Sister Krone there too. You stayed quiet, while listening to what Sister Krone is saying.

"Running while carrying two kids. You must be tired, Emma." Sister Krone said, while searching around for Emma.

"You won't be able to move unless you rest. Did you know? Norman's weakness is physical strength. I heard he was feenle when he was younger. Ray's weakness is that he is aittle quick to give up. He makes decisions fast but abandons them just as quickly. And (Y/n)'s weakness, well, that I'm not exactly sure of. But I do know is that it's related to her past life. And you, Emma! Your weakness is your Naiveté. Like how naive you are to be carrying others when you're being chased. Just give up and coming out. I won't do you wrong. Listen, Emma. If you sawt he harvest that day... Then I'm on your side." Sister Krone taunted.

Emma stopped breathing, as she slowly looks up, to see Sister Krone right above her. Sister Krone tags the three of them. 'Time to play a little more.'

You took a small pebble and threw it at Sister Krone. It hit the back of her head, before she turns around, to see you.

You quickly jumped back and sprinted. You looked back to see Sister Krone behind you, with the same mischievous smile on her face.

'Surprising that Sister Krone still has some stamina left.' You continued to run, until you started to jump on rocks, with Sister Krone behind you.

You look ahead to see Norman doing the same thing. You both got on the same rock, with Norman smiling at you, and you just nodding your head. Sister Krone finally catches up, and looks to her side, seeing you and Norman, giving her a dark look.

"So, these are the perfect scorers of this place." Sister Krone muttered in disbelif.

Within ten seconds later, Ray ran up to Sister Krone, catching her attention. "Times Up." Ray announced, holding up the watch.

All of the kids cheered for You, Ray, and Normans victory against Sister Krone. You were slightly impressed that Norman managed to outrun Sister Krone, since she was really fast.

You took a peek at Gilda, seeing her really quiet and a bit off. You couldn't help but feel a bit worried for her.

After the game of tag, you slowly followed Emma, Ray, and Norman to the supply room. As soon as they closed the door, you leaned really close so you can hear their conversation.

"Sister Krone hasn't done anything since then, it seems strange." Emma said in slight confusion.

"That's probably Moms order. Mom used to suspect us, but it doesn't seem like that anymore." Norman said.

"I wonder why..." Emma looked away.

"What do you think, Ray?" Norman turned his head to Ray. "What about you, Norman?"

"Mom did something behind the scented so she won't have to move herself." Norman said.

"What do you mean?"

"What do you think would be the easiest situation for mom? That would be to know our moves without having to do anything." Norman explained.

"But there are no secryitt cameras or listening devices..." Emma said, before she gasoed with a terrified expression. "That means..."

"That's right. Theres--"

"Already a different person watching. Most likely among the kids." Ray finished.

"So there's a traitor." Norman concluded.

You narrowed your eyes from hearing what Norman said. You doubt it would be the youngest ones. You have only one suspect. And they think they're doing a good job of hiding it from you.

'If you got tricks. I got my own tricks.'

You quickly walked away and went over to help the other kids out with Dinner. You were carrying plates, while looking in the corner of your eye, seeing Emma with a sad and terrified look on her face, while looking at you, and the other kids.

You wouldn't exactly be surprised if they suspected you to be a traitor, you sorta was one to begin with, since you didn't really get along with the kids in the orphanage. And, Isabella did order you to tell her if anything is off. And you didn't exactly do yet, since Emma, Ray and Norman didn't do much strange stuff.

You look over to your suspect, with a little glare. 'You better watch your tracks. Because you'll eventually fall into someone's trap.'

Hello everyone! I am SUPER sorry that I haven't posted for weeks, I wanted to take a break from writing, and school ends in two more days for me, sonI gotta get work done even more. I'll try to post more chapters tomorrow since I'm gonna be pretty busy on Sunday, since I'm gonna help my aunt out with a festival.
