I keep stealing glances at her, she isn't looking at me. She looks scared but still excited to see her mom. She keeps looking outside but doesn't dare to make eye contact with me. It's completely understandable.

I just feel this time I can trust her, maybe she didn't betray me this time. I just really hope that she isn't affiliated with any rival gang because if it's true then I won't be able to protect her. My men are questioning me and I have to find answer before they take matter in thier own hands. It's getting hard to suppress the suspicion. Even though I can shut them up for a while it won't be for long.

I really believed her when she told me that what she did was to protect herself and whatever she went through! But she fucked up... She shouldn't have tried to kill me. I don't know if I should trust her after seeing her making out with same person she claimed abused her, forced her! But for some reason I want to believe her. I know I am stupid... I love her!

I look at her... She had minimal makeup on but enough to cover her bruises. Her hair open and some hair strands flying bothering her. She looks so innocent just like she looked back then... But-

"We've reached Sir." The driver said as he parked near the house, Avneet's house!

I nodded and signalled her to get out of the car and she did.

I can see she is having flashbacks of that unfortunate day. She is literally scared, shaking... But soon enough she composed herself, trying to make herself look strong in front of me. She didn't meet my eyes, instead she stared at ground.

I hold her hand making her flinch a little. She looks at me... "This maybe last time you are visiting you mother." I said.

She looks scared now. I know she is thinking unimaginable things, she thinks I will hurt her family.

"Sid..." She couldn't form any words.

"Let's go in. You will behave." I said as I started walking in. She followed me slowly, I could hear her slow sobs but she stopped before we reached till door step. She stood behind me in little distance. I gently took her hand and pulled her beside me making her gasp. I rang the doorbell.

As expected her mom opened the door. She pulled Avneet into hug, they both crying forgetting I am right there for a minute. Her mom had Avneet in her embrace so tightly as I if someone will just snatch her away if she loosened her grip. She isn't wrong, I am that devil who will snatch her body and soul away. I coughed to get their attention, making them pull apart but her mom till held her closely. Avneet wiped her tears and asked her mom how she was doing.

"Come in first." Her mom pulled her in. I know she didn't want to talk to Avneet and worry her more. She didn't invite me in ofcourse so I walked in myself.

Avneet looked shocked and scared at how many men were there in her house carrying literal guns, she looked at me asking for answers.

"These are my men! They are here to keep your family safe." I said as I sat on sofa.

"You held us captive... I know everything about you. Stop lying you..." Her mom was about to curse me.

"Choose your next words very carefully Mrs. Oberoi, your words can lead to some heavy consequences for your daughter. Right My love?!" I say looking at Avneet who held her mother tightly.

"You dare to threaten my daughter... I am going to kill you..." Before she charges at me Avneet stops her mom.

"Mumma please no... Please... He won't hurt me..." Avneet looks scared.

"Let me just talk to my mom alone for while. Please!" She begged me.

"Okay. You can talk in your room for 20 minutes. Do not try anything smart." I say and she nods. She basically dragged her mom who was still giving me death stares.
