"Siddharth..." Avneet says panting as she pushes him away from her. "What if Mom sees us like this." she mumbles distancing herself from him uncomfortably.

"And you think I care?" he says as he fixes his shirt.

"I know you don't, but it's..." She stops as she hears a knock on the door. Her mom was standing carrying the tray with bowl of soup and water.

"You should eat first and take medicines." Her mom said. 

"I will feed her Aunty." Sid said taking the tray from her and her mom nodded.

Her mom went out of room leaving them alone again. It was disturbing for Avneet as she felt that her mom is still angry at her.

A tear fell out of her eye but she quickly wiped it off.

Siddharth fed her and gave her medicines. Two hours just passed like that. None of them said anything. Silence was killing her.

But the other thing bothering her was her Dad! He didn't come to meet her even once. He did come to her room, to give medicines, but he didn't even glance at her! Instead, he asked Siddharth to meet him in his room and went out from the door only. 

She never witnessed her dad behave this cold towards her! She knew, He was really angry and disappointed in her. Ever since Siddharth came back after talking to her dad, he was silent.

She was staring at him as he was sitting on the sofa in front of her and checking out his phone. Her own thoughts were killing her. What happened? What did Sid told her family about them? Why were they here? Did he do anything? Does her dad hates her? What was he up to now?

She tried to ask him about what happened but he just ignored her and kept looking at his phone. It was too much for her!!!

She was not strong enough mentally! These last few days were too devastating for her and after her emotional breakdown she was more broken and weak. And now this... She was trying to control her emotions. She wanted to be free! She didn't want to see this man anymore! She wanted to be alone... at least for some time.

"Are you asleep baby?" She opens her eyes as she hears his deep but velvety voice.

"I was just... I mean I needed some time. It's just too much for me." She said in low voice.

He sat beside her on the bed and started stroking her hair gently. Avneet closes her eyes again to stop the tears that would have fallen down. That man was confusing the crap out of her.

Her eyelids felt heavy. She was exhausted. Siddharth pulls her head on his chest as he sleeps beside her. He didn't stop gently stroking her hair. She didn't realize when she descended into beautiful sleep.

Curiosity about what will happen drifted off her as she felt more empty, sad and broken. She just wanted to sleep and never wake up again. There was nothing she could do, There was nothing anyone could do!!! She just had to live with it.

Next day, Avneet was resting in room alone, Siddharth had to go to office because of important meeting when her mom entered the room. She tried to get up, Her mother helps her sit with help of pillows.

"Mom..." She was overwhelmed. She couldn't form words to say.

"Are you happy? Does he treats you well?" She asked Avneet. Avneet almost choked at this unexpected question.

Her mother was super observant, her action didn't go unnoticed. "Y...yes" She hesitated nervously.

"You hesitated, the Avneet I know would have been really confident and excited to tell me about her choice. It tells me that something is wrong!" Her mother said.

"It's nothing mom, I am just nervous. I made a mistake by not telling you about him and then marrying him without your permission. I was scared." She says trying to convince her mother.

"You know, marriage is union of two beautiful souls. Your dad is the one for me, I love him unconditionally. Being his wife brought me endless joy, he took care of me, loved me, made me feel so special, He made my life so beautiful! But when you were born my life became more beautiful than ever. You are my angel, I have always prayed that you find someone who loves you like your dad loves me, In fact much more! You are a wonderful soul Avneet, you deserve someone who makes you happier... But Avni there's pain lingering in your eyes. You have been crying, you are hurting, I don't know what is stopping you, but I know there is something you are hiding.

 It's not possible that you had to run away with your boyfriend out of nowhere when we are so open minded. You know we would have accepted him if you told us about him. I know my daughter would do nothing to hurt her family like this, you will not put respect of Oberois on stake like this!!!" Avneet was all in tears, only she knew how hard she was controlling to not to hug her mom tightly and cry in her lap telling her every fucking thing she was going through... How much broken and alone she was feeling.

"Mom.. I am sorry for hurting you and breaking your trust. I am really sorry!!! I love you so much, can you please ask dad to talk to me once? I promise I will do anything... I really didn't want to hurt you..." She asks as she brushes her tears off but her tears weren't stopping, her eyes filled with tears again. She rested her head on her mother's lap and clutched her dress tightly. She wanted to do this from so long. She didn't wanted to lie to her mother about her and Siddharth's relationship, if her mother brings that topic up again... It will be hard for her to lie. "I am really sorry mom." She mutters in her mother's embrace.

Her mother was already in tears, she tried to hold her daughter. But Avneet was crying mess, She was not able to figure out what troubled her daughter so much! Anika made Avneet sit and hugged her tightly consoling her and asking her to stop crying but it just made Avneet more overwhelmed. Anika wiped her tears.

"Avi what is hurting you so much? Is Siddharth hurting you or forcing you in any way? You know you can tell me anything right! I will always trust you more than anyone. You are my daughter and I can see you don't love that guy... Does he hurts you? And this wound... It's not just random wound you got... Did you try to...?" She asks as she couldn't take her daughter breaking down like that! She sensed something was wrong when her daughter went missing and the news of her marrying a billionaire didn't make sense. Her questions maybe made situation worse for Avneet as she couldn't breathe and started panting heavily between her heavy sobs. Anika panicked and gave her water trying to calm her down. 

"Its okay Avu if you don't want to talk about it. Just calm down okay? Just know that you can share anything with us! If Siddharth tries to hurt you in any way you can tell us. He hurt my princess, we will not let him get away with this!" Anika said with determination as she tried to calm her daughter down by caressing her hair gently.

Oh shit! Avneet thought, She knew she fucked up... She could've stopped herself... No No No her mother can't know anything. Siddharth could do anything, even hurt her!!!

Avneet panicked and stopped Anika by holding her hand. She took deep breath and tried to calm herself down, if not at least to not show the storm inside her. "You are misunderstanding mom. It's nothing like that! He loves me so much, he takes care of me, I can't even tell you how much Siddharth loves me. He is really good person mom. I was just scared that you and dad might not accept... But Siddharth is really good person... He can't even think of hurting me, not even in his farthest dreams. He just loves me too much!!" Avneet said as calmly and convincingly he could. 

Anika didn't believe her completely. But she knew it was not right moment to ask anything anymore. "I will believe you if you say so... But Avi if I find out that Siddharth is not right for you, you will let me take the last call... okay ?" Anika says trying to calm her down.

"Don't worry mom, that moment will never come because Siddharth will never hurt me!" She says in low voice. 

"Okay baby, now rest okay? Just take care and call me if you need anything. Don't worry about your dad, I will talk to him, he will not be able to be angry with you for long. You are his whole world, he will not able to take it if something happens to you. So, you have to be strong for him!" Anika says before kissing her forehead. She made Avneet lie down and covers her with duvet. 

"Shivaay I don't know what, but something is wrong for sure! Avneet is definitely hiding something and this Siddharth guy... I don't trust him at all. He has definitely done something wrong, Avneet is scared of him... I don't see love in her eyes for him, in fact I feel like he is forcing our daughter. And I am not going to let him near her anymore No matter what happens..."
