“Mr. Nigam you are under arrest in charge of kidnapping and abusing your wife, Mrs. Avneet Kaur.” One of the officer said shocking Sid. He couldn't believe that Avneet filed complain against him.

“What are you saying officer? I didn't kidnapped anyone, Avneet is my wife and I love her. I guess someone gave you wrong information! Do you have any proof? Who filed complain against me?” Siddharth asked.

“You need to come to police station, We will talk there, we have arrest warrant against you.” Officer said showing arrest warrant and tied handcuffs.

“You can't arrest Sir like this, let us talk to our lawyer.” One of Sid's man said.

“It's fine... At least tell me who filed the complaint.” Siddharth asked police, stopping his guard to say anything further.

“It was Miss. Reem Shaikh. We can't tell you anything further. Please cooperate the police and come with us. We are enquiring about the case.” The officer said.

“But Sir didn't do anything... Do you even know who he is...”

“It's fine... I will go to police station.” Sid said.

Police arrests Sid and takes him to jail. Siddharth was still confused how did Reem got to know about all this.

Police officer showed the proof of CCTV recording where Avneet was kidnapped and a paper confessing that Sid abused Avneet with her sign on it.

“Baby doll you just made your life more miserable by doing this. There is no way I am letting you away with it. You shouldn't have Involved Reem in all this. This is very brave of you to file a complaint against me knowing what can I do, but I guess you underestimated me. Let's see what will you choose to do!” He thought and smirked.

“Siddharth What is wrong with you? I don't understand what do you even want to do! Our plan was to simply kidnap Avneet and keep her safe till situation gets better! And you married her and what is all this about abusing and all! Did you know her from before?” Bhavesh, who came to visit Siddharth asked. He is one of Siddharth's most trusted man in thier business (underworld).

“Bhavesh we will talk about this later, first tell me what did lawyer said.” Sid asked.

“See, proofs they have are pretty solid. But you don't have to worry we can just get you out in other way.” Bhavesh said.

“When is hearing?” Sid asked.

“You want to wait for hearing? We can bail you out easily and we can even destroy evidences easily. Why do you want to spend night in jail?” Bhavesh asked in disbelief.

“Nah! I just want to test someone and anyways one night in jail won't harm anyone.” He said with smirk.

“Siddharth, have you gone mad! Do you even know how risky it is for us if police starts investigation on you. Right no one knows about your arrest but if it you go for hearing media will surely know and...” Bhavesh said.

“Don't worry it won't go that far. I just want you to do one thing....” Sid said and smirked.

Avneet was waiting for Siddharth to come back home. He ordered her to go home as her work was finished. This big house was too much for her specially with so many guards around her. It was so awkward, even though she was scared of Sid.. It was still better than having so many unknown men around her. She was not allowed to leave room till he comes back and she didn't have her phone too. She kept changing her positions again and again awkwardly.

“Ma'am someone wants to meet you!” One of the guard told her.

“Me! Who?” She asked.

Sometimes knocked the door before coming in and... “Hello, I am Bhavesh, I work with Siddharth and I am one of his friends.” He introduced himself politely.

“Hey! But Sid is not home till now, he would be coming soon I guess. You can wait...” Avneet said with awkward smile.

“I guess either you don't know or you are really good actor.” He said.

“Umm.. what?” Avneet asked..

Bhavesh signalled all guards to get out and everyone did, it made Avneet more awkward that she stood up.

“What's happening?” She asked.

“Siddharth is arrested in crime of kidnapping and abusing you!” He said.

“What? You are lying right? Who filed complaint against him?” She asked, she was very shocked. Somewhere she had feeling it was related to Reem.

“It was someone named Reem, who is supposed to be your bestfriend. You don't know?” He asked.

“I think it must be some misunderstanding. Reem would never do that.” Avneet tried to defend Reem.

“Anyways it doesn't matter. See tomorrow is Court hearing, Siddharth is not ready to get bailed out. It's on you now... You can go to police station and take the complaint back by proving allegations wrong or our lawyer will do that tomorrow in court and we will have to prove miss Reem wrong and she may have to arrested for putting wrong allegations and trying to sabotage Siddharth's image. Or maybe we will have to simply kill her. You can choose... Siddharth asked me to tell this to you.” Bhavesh said.

Avneet almost collapsed on floor thinking that Sid already knows and it is not going to end well.

“Siddharth...” Avneet whispered seeing Sid in jail cell. He was sitting on floor thinking something deeply.

“You can go, your wife took back allegations.” Constable said opening door for Sid.

He looked at Avneet with smirk like he knew she will come. Avneet looked down as soon as he looked at her not to meet his eyes.

Siddharth walks towards her and gives her a hug just to pretend they love each other in front of police... Infact to Avneet that hug was more like warning that he was going to destroy her that night.

“Mr. Nigam do you want to file complaint against Miss Reem for putting wrong allegations against you?” Inspector asked after they completed all formalities.

Siddharth looked at Avneet with a big smirk.

“Please no...” Avneet whispered holding his hand.

“No, we don't want to file any complaints. Reem is my wife's best friend and she was just concerned so it's OK.” Sid said.

Sid and Avneet came out of police station, there was still silence between them. Avneet wanted to apologize and beg that he doesn't do anything to Reem but she was not able to say a word. Sid was silent waiting for Avneet to say something. In whole ride they remained silent but Avneet knew hell was waiting for her at house, she could tell seeing his face that he was planning something.

As soon as they reached there room and Sid locked thier room’s door her heart started to beat faster.

He started walking towards her and started taking steps backwards till she was pinned on wall by him.

“How did Reem know?” He whispered in her ear.

“She... She... Saw.. S.. My.. My... Sc.. Scars...” She was barely able to speak.

“Your friend dared to file a complaint against me... Guess she doesn't know me well... I will have to show her right!” He said slightly touching her chin.

“I am sorry... Please... Please don't do anything! It was a mistake please... I didn't even knew about it otherwise I wouldn't let it happen... Please.. Please... Please” She said looking on ground and Sid was just inches away from her.

“Baby, now that's a pity because No mistakes should go unpunished, either I Will have to punish your dear friend or I will have to punish you... Now tell me who is at fault?” Siddharth asked in very low but intimidating tone. He was slightly touching her cheek which was making her more scared.

Avneet gulped in fear hearing his tone. She couldn't move because he was so close, she couldn't form words due to intimacy.

“Speak up Dammit...” He shouted and banged his hand on wall near her making her almost jump.

“I am sorry... Please, it was my fault. I should've been more careful. Please don't do anything to Reem. Punish me. Instead.” She said almost closing her eyes in fear.
