Sophia walked to class somberly, her hood over her head as she walked into the chaotic room. She had P.E first period. It was a bit annoying to do just after waking up but she did it anyway.

   After the bell rang for second period, Sophia packed up her things and began to walk out of the gym. She heard three girls voices calling for her. Those were her friends. Ari, Nessa and Vanna.

     The shortest, Vanna, was a tsundere ginger with freckles covering her face like sprinkles on a cake. Her hair was down to her knees, her hazel eyes glinting like amber in the sunlight. Vanna loved Percy Jackson and the Olympians, so much that she would roleplay as Percy himself.

The second shortest, Ari, was a midere, raven haired girl. She seemed pretty normal despite the ocarina hanging from her neck. The girl was obsessed with anime and Zelda. She knew how to play anime intro songs on her ocarina after only having it for a week. Her brown eyes like soft chocolate in the light.

  The tallest, Nessa, was a raven haired girl as well. Her personality ranged from yandere to tsundere at times. She had short, barely past her ears length of hair. The front part of her bangs had been dyed blue. She constantly adjusted her glasses, her grey-blue eyes glittering like diamonds.

   From the way they are described, it is a bit obvious that Sophia has a crush on all three. She had confessed to Ari a bit ago, saying she had a crush on her. But Ari friend zoned her because she was with Carter. Sophia took it easy, but after Carter did that to her, she wasn't sure she could do it anymore.

     Sophia shook herself back to reality. As the three girls rushed to her.

    "Hey Sophia!! How was your summer?" Vanna asked, she was cheerful at times to her friends, but other times she could be bossy. Everyone just found it adorable since she was so small.

    "It went good until this morning." Sophia said, her voice as blank as paper.

   Ari knew instantly what happened just by her kohai's tone of voice. She hugged her tight, as Sophia began to cry into her shoulder. The other two joined the hug.

  "H-he..." She mumbled out, her tears flowing despite the feeling of emptiness inside her.

   "Sshh... Forget about him. We don't want another Aeidan right?" Ari whispered gently. Sophia nodded slightly.

(Flashback~!)

     Aeidan was the boy who first broke her. She had a crush on him, so she gave him a small note asking to check yes or no to a 'Do you love me back?' question. She hadn't gotten a response all day, and she got worried. Then as the bell for school's end rang, she saw three boys run up to her.

    They were friends of Aeidan. One handed her the note, holding in a laugh. She wondered why he was laughing. She opened the note and what she saw shattered her.

   "I would never love you. I'm only friends with you because you have a way with the teachers." Was what he wrote. No check on either of the options. Just the small message. The boys began to laugh uncontrollably, they had read the note. Tears dripped onto the paper,soaking it as she gripped the paper tight in her fingers.

    Sophia dropped the slightly ripped note, running to the small courtyard hidden by trees in the back of the school. That place calmed her. Made her feel welcome when no one else did. But, she didn't notice the three girls sitting in the tree. They noticed her for sure, immediately ceasing their talking.

   One of the girls, a raven haired girl, began to play the intro song of Sophia's favorite anime on her ocarina. Sophia jumped up, looking around in surprise, still wiping tears from her eyes.

   "Up here." The girl said, stopping the music for a second. Sophia glanced up in the tree she had been leaning against.

  "Ari? Is that you?" Sophia said tilting her head. The girl giggled.

  "Yep! Are you okay?" Ari asked, helping Sophia into the tree with the other two. Sophia shook her head.

    "Hi, I'm Vanna, this is Nessa." The small ginger introduced herself along with the other raven haired girl. Nessa looked worried for Sophia.

   "What happened?" Ari asked before Nessa had the chance.

    "Aeidan.... He rejected my confession. He did it in such a way that it hurt just to read it." Sophia said before crying more.
