Y/N: A Grand Day Out!

Then

In the farmhouse where Clark grew up, his parents, Martha and Jonathan, were digging in the backyard. Martha paused, smiling at Clark.

"Clark, come here," she said. Clark nervously walked over as Jonathan continued digging.

"What is it?" Clark asked.

"This is how you came to us, Clark, from the skies. Right down to here," Martha explained.

In front of them was a large metal area that they had uncovered.

"The answers to everything you want to know. We think they're all in there," Jonathan added.

Clark stepped onto the metal platform. Blue lines appeared on different corners of the floor, and the ground began to shake. Multiple pillars surrounded Clark until one appeared in front of him, emitting a bright blue light. Clark and his parents shielded their eyes until the light dimmed, revealing a hologram of a man in a white suit with the letter S on his chest and a cape.

"Uh, hello?" Clark greeted nervously.

The hologram spoke in a foreign language that none of them understood.

"What is he saying?" Clark asked, confused.

"I don't think that's a language from Earth," Jonathan replied.

The remaining pillars gathered around Clark as the hologram extended its hand, still chanting. The platform began to shake and split, causing Clark to float in the air. He heard his parents panicking and saw Jonathan barely holding onto Martha, who was about to fall into the open platform.

"No!" Clark shouted.

Ignoring the hologram, he moved past the pillars and pulled his parents to safety.

"Krypton, it's..." the hologram began, but it sensed Clark's absence and deactivated, the platform closing back up.

Clark, visibly shocked, used his super speed to race to a shovel and quickly covered the ship with dirt again. He stabbed the shovel into the ground, panting, as his parents approached, worried.

"I-I don't want to come here again," Clark said, traumatized.

"Clark, I know this is scary, but..." Jonathan started.

"Jonathan, he's right. We don't know what this is or who sent it," Martha interjected.

"Am I not your son? If I came from that, then..." Clark's voice trailed off.

"Honey, no. You will always be our son," Martha reassured him.

"But, I'm not human?" Clark backed away, scared and confused, leaving his parents unsure of how to comfort him.

———
Now

Y/N woke up to the soft morning light filtering through the curtains. Lois was already up, getting ready for work. He stretched and smiled at the thought of having the day off, even if it was because of back-to-back appointments.

After a quick breakfast with Lois, she kissed him goodbye, reminding him to take it easy and call her if he needed anything. "And don't forget, I'm expecting a full report on how the dentist went," she added with a wink before heading out the door.

Once she was gone, Y/N took his time getting ready for his day. He had a doctor's appointment in the morning and a dentist appointment in the afternoon, leaving him a bit of free time in between.

Y/N was on his way to the doctors office, trying to enjoy the sunny day despite his anxiety about the upcoming appointment. As he walked down the bustling street, he accidentally bumped into a woman.

"Sorry, I didn't see you there," Y/N said, stepping back.

Before he could react, the woman grabbed him and pinned a gun to his back.

"Walk with me and don't make a scene," she whispered threateningly in his ear.

Y/N's heart raced as he complied, his mind racing with thoughts of how to escape.

"Who are you?" he asked nervously.

"Just keep moving," she replied, tightening her grip.

She led him to a nearby van parked in an alley. The door slid open, revealing Deadshot, Sportsmaster, and Edward inside. Edward was in the driver's seat, looking back with a mischievous grin.

"Welcome aboard," Edward said cheerfully. "Hop in, we've got business to discuss."

Y/N hesitated, feeling the cold metal of the gun against his back. Leslie nudged him forward, forcing him into the van.

"Don't try anything funny, and you'll be fine," Deadshot warned, his tone deadly serious.

Sportsmaster, leaning casually against the van wall, gave Y/N a once-over. "So, this is the guy you picking?" he asked.

"Yep," Leslie confirmed, closing the van door behind them. "Now let's get moving."

Edward started the engine, and the van lurched forward. Y/N sat tensely, surrounded by some of the most dangerous people he'd ever encountered, wondering what they wanted with him and how he was going to get out of this situation.

Y/N, feeling the tension in the van, nervously asked, "Hello? I'm Y/N. What's going on? Why did you grab me?"

Leslie, still holding the gun, glanced at him with a smirk. "We need a hostage. Certain people are after us, so we're keeping you with us for a little insurance."

Y/N swallowed hard. "Hostage? Why me?"

"Nothing personal. You were in the wrong place at the wrong time," Deadshot said, his voice flat. "Just do as we say, and you might make it out of this alive."

Edward chimed in from the driver's seat, "Don't worry, it's nothing personal. Just a bit of bad luck on your part."

Sportsmaster leaned forward, a menacing smile on his face. "Besides, you might even be useful. Ever think of it that way?"

As the van sped through the city streets, Edward turned to the group with a gleam in his eye. "Alright, here's one for you: I speak without a mouth and hear without ears. I have no body, but I come alive with the wind. What am I?"

Leslie rolled her eyes. "Not now, Edward."

Deadshot sighed. "Must you do this every time?"

Sportsmaster grumbled, "Can't you just drive in silence?"

Y/N, despite the tension, recognized Edward as The Riddler. He remembered the clever puzzles in the Metropolis Daily Paper, before they were kicked out and bought by some other company Y/N forgot the name of. There was something familiar and almost comforting about Edward's quirks. He also noticed the signs—Edward had autism and ADHD, just like him.

"An echo," Y/N answered quietly, surprising everyone in the van.

Edward's eyes lit up. "Correct! Finally, someone who appreciates a good riddle."

Y/N gave a small nod. "I used to solve your puzzles in the paper. They were... fun."

Edward smiled, a genuine smile. "Glad to meet a fellow enthusiast. It's nice to know someone still remembers."

Leslie, growing impatient, cut in. "Enough with the bonding. Remember why he's here, Edward."

Y/N hesitated before asking, "So, where are we going?"

Leslie shot him a look. "We have a plan."

Deadshot's reaction betrayed him. "A plan? Since when?"

Leslie shot him a glare. "Shut up, Floyd."

Edward, trying to lighten the mood, pulled out his phone and showed a picture. "Hey, you guys want to see a picture of my girlfriend?"

Leslie raised an eyebrow. "You have a girlfriend?"

Deadshot groaned. "Please, not this again."

Edward ignored them and handed his phone to Y/N. Y/N, Leslie, and Sportsmaster glanced at the image. It was a skinny, goth-looking chick with pale skin, dark eyeliner, and a confident smirk.

Leslie raised an eyebrow. "Is that...?"

Edward beamed. "Yep, that's my darling, Oswald. Isn't she stunning? But she prefers Penguin,"

Y/N, trying to ease the tension, added, "She seems... unique. You two must have a lot in common."

Edward nodded enthusiastically. "Oh, we do! She's brilliant, loves puzzles almost as much as I do, and she has this incredible eye for detail."

As they continued their drive, the van eventually pulled up to a dimly lit warehouse on the outskirts of the city. Leslie glanced back at Y/N and the rest of the crew, a hint of unease in her eyes.

"We're meeting one of my contacts here," she said. "Jonathan Crane. You might know him as Scarecrow. He's going to help us find a way out of the city."

Y/N felt a shiver run down his spine. Scarecrow was notorious in the criminal underworld, and the thought of encountering him didn't do much to calm his nerves.

They exited the van and approached the warehouse entrance. Leslie knocked three times in a specific rhythm, and the heavy door creaked open. Standing there was Jonathan Crane, fully dressed in his Scarecrow suit, his gaunt face partially hidden by shadows. His piercing eyes scanned the group, lingering briefly on Y/N.

"Leslie," Scarecrow greeted with a cold smile. "I see you've brought company."

Leslie nodded. "This is Y/N. We needed a hostage, just in case things go south."

Scarecrow's eyes flicked to Y/N, a calculating look in them. "A wise precaution. Come in."

As they stepped inside, Y/N noticed various pieces of high-tech equipment scattered around, much of it looking ominous and potentially dangerous. Scarecrow led them deeper into the warehouse, to a table covered in maps and devices.

"Here's the layout of the city," Scarecrow said, gesturing to the maps. "I've marked several potential escape routes. Some are less risky than others, but all have their dangers."

Leslie inspected the maps, nodding appreciatively. "This should do. Thanks, Crane."

Scarecrow's lips twisted into a smirk beneath his mask. "Just remember our deal, Leslie. I expect my payment soon."

Leslie stiffened slightly but nodded. "You'll get it. Don't worry."

As the group started memorizing the routes, Y/N found himself standing near Edward. The Riddler was fidgeting with a small device, his attention momentarily diverted.

Y/N whispered, "Do you think we can really trust him?"

Edward glanced at Y/N, his expression serious for once. "Crane's dangerous, but he's predictable."

Suddenly, the base was rocked by a series of explosions. Y/N's heart pounded as he looked around in panic. A beam busted through the wall and a robot cane through

"What's happening?" he shouted, his voice tinged with fear.

Leslie's eyes widened as she recognized the sounds of the attack. "It's Carapax! He's found us!"

The realization sent a wave of dread through the group. Carapax, a powerful and relentless foe, was the last person they wanted to encounter. The situation had just escalated from dangerous to downright deadly.

"We need to scatter!" Leslie ordered. "Everyone, move!"

Sportsmaster immediately stepped forward. "I'll stay behind and keep Carapax busy. You all get out of here."

The rest of the group hesitated for a moment, then nodded. Leslie grabbed Y/N by the arm, pulling him along as they made a break for it.

"Come on, Y/N, we need to move!" Leslie urged, her grip firm.

They sprinted through the chaotic warehouse, dodging debris and the sounds of battle. Carapax's booming footsteps and the sounds of combat echoed behind them, but Leslie didn't slow down. She led Y/N to a side exit, pushing him through the door before glancing back.

"We're not safe yet," Leslie said, her voice low but urgent. "Stay close to me."

Y/N nodded, trying to keep his fear in check. As they ran through the alleyways, the explosions and sounds of the fight gradually faded into the background. Leslie led them through a series of twists and turns, finally stopping in a secluded spot.

"We should be safe here for a bit," Leslie panted, catching her breath. "But we need to keep moving. Carapax won't give up easily."

Y/N, still shaken, looked at Leslie with wide eyes. "What are we going to do?"

Leslie's expression hardened. "We're going to survive. And we're going to make sure Carapax doesn't get what he wants."

As Leslie and Y/N fled through the alleyways, the sound of Carapax's heavy, metallic footsteps grew louder behind them. Leslie's eyes widened in shock when she saw Y/N's hands beginning to morph.

"What's happening to you?" she whispered, barely able to hide her astonishment.

Before Y/N could respond, Carapax rounded the corner, his menacing figure looming. Panic surged through Y/N, and in a moment of desperation, he activated his optic beam. A powerful beam of energy shot from his eyes, striking Carapax directly in the chest and causing him to stagger.

"Keep moving!" Leslie shouted, pulling Y/N by the arm. "Don't stop!"

Y/N's optic beam continued to fire, hitting Carapax repeatedly and slowing him down. The energy blasts left scorch marks on Carapax's armor, but they didn't stop him entirely. Carapax roared in frustration, his metal body sparking from the impact.

Leslie led Y/N through a narrow passageway. "We need to lose him, now!"

Y/N nodded, his heart pounding as he kept firing his optic beam. They twisted and turned through the maze of alleyways, Y/N's blasts lighting up the dark passages. Finally, they reached a dead-end alley with a fire escape ladder.

"Up there!" Leslie pointed.

Y/N covered their retreat, blasting at Carapax until Leslie was safely up the ladder. Then he followed, his optic beam cutting through the darkness as he climbed. Carapax reached the base of the ladder just as Y/N pulled it up, leaving their pursuer snarling below.

They reached the rooftop, panting and out of breath. Leslie looked at Y/N with a mix of gratitude and shock. "I had no idea you had powers."

"Wait a minute," she said, suddenly putting the pieces together. "The red and black... the morphing... You're Malware, aren't you?"

Y/N looked away, embarrassed. "Yeah, I used to go by that name. But that was a long time ago."

Leslie's expression shifted from shock to pure excitement. "Are you kidding me? You weren't just a villain. You were the villain! The one who could absorb tech and turn it against its owners. You were legendary!"

Y/N frowned. "I was just... doing what I thought I had to. It wasn't exactly something I'm proud of."

Leslie shook her head, still grinning. "Legendary, Y/N. I can't believe I've been running around with Malware this whole time and didn't even know it."

Y/N shrugged uncomfortably. "It's not something I advertise anymore. I'm trying to move on, be better."

Leslie's eyes sparkled with a mixture of admiration and curiosity. "Well, whatever you were, you just saved our lives back there. Thanks."

As they walked into a crowded street and eventually stopped by a park, Leslie suddenly tensed.

"Oh no," she muttered, spotting two people she recognized as agents looking for them.

Thinking quickly, she grabbed Y/N and pulled him close, planting a kiss on his lips. She wrapped her arms around his head, making them look like nothing more than a couple enjoying a moment in the park.

Y/N was taken aback but understood the necessity of the ruse. He awkwardly wrapped his arms around Leslie, trying to play along.

The agents glanced in their direction but quickly dismissed them as just another couple in the park, moving on in their search.

After a few moments, Leslie pulled back, a mischievous smile on her face. "Sorry about that, but it worked."

Y/N, still a bit flustered, nodded. "Yeah, it did. Good thinking."

Leslie laughed softly. "Well, when you're on the run, sometimes you have to improvise. Come on, we should keep moving."

"You know, you're a pretty good kisser," she remarked, her tone teasing. "But don't forget, you're still my prisoner."

Y/N blinked, still a bit flustered. "Right... prisoner."

Leslie's eyes roamed over him, taking in his appearance. She mentally undressed him, feeling a sudden rush of heat. "You know," she said, her voice dropping a notch, "you're actually kind of cute. And hot."

Y/N felt a mix of confusion and embarrassment under her intense gaze. "Uh, thanks, I guess?"

Leslie chuckled, shaking her head slightly. "Come on, let's keep moving. We still have a lot to figure out." She took his hand, leading him away from the park, her mind still reeling from the unexpected attraction she felt towards her supposed captive.

As they walked, Leslie glanced sideways at Y/N. "So, how do your powers work, exactly?" she asked, her curiosity piqued.

Y/N hesitated for a moment, considering how much to reveal. "Well, it's a bit complicated. I can absorb and manipulate technology, which lets me transform parts of my body into weapons or tools. I do not upgrade others creations. They upgrade me."

Leslie nodded, clearly interested. "That's pretty impressive. Can you do anything else?"

"Yeah," Y/N replied, "I also have an optic beam, like the one I used back there."

Leslie's eyes lit up. "Wow, that's amazing. So, you can just... take over any tech you come across?"

"More or less," Y/N said.

Leslie had her arm wrapped around Y/N's, thinking about him. Her thoughts were interrupted by a couple laughing obnoxiously, which annoyed her. She pulled Y/N along as she ran, the couple making serious faces as they chased them into an alleyway. They followed cautiously, tasers in hand.

As they searched for Leslie and Y/N, the man stepped on Leslie's sunglasses. Suddenly, a yell echoed above them, and Leslie kicked both of them in the back. The girl tried to tase her, but Leslie dodged and charged at the man. He swung a punch, but Leslie deflected it and uppercut him, then spun and kicked him into the girl, slamming them both into the wall and knocking them unconscious.

Leslie scoffed and noticed a communication device in the man's ear. She took it out and spoke into it, her voice filled with irritation. "I don't know who you are, but I'm sick of these goons and that flying freak of yours. You cost me my best prize. So, let's talk city vistro. Noon. Come alone, or your tech is gone." She added, "And by the way, I have a hostage."

She threw the earpiece to the ground and crushed it underfoot. Then, she rejoined Y/N, gripping his arm firmly as they walked out of the alleyway.

———

Meanwhile, Carapax watched from a distance, observing Leslie and Y/N. He activated his communicator and reported to his boss. "I've got eyes on them. The hostage is a guy, mid-twenties, wearing a Steamboat Willie shirt."

His boss on the other end sighed deeply. "Why does it have to be him?" he mumbled, recognizing the description. "Alright, keep tracking them. We'll need to handle this carefully."

———

That day, Lois brings Clark and Jimmy to an abandoned office that the team will claim as their base of operations. As their first mission, Lois wants to continue investigating Superman, while Jimmy has already opened up his own video stream, Flamebird, as a way to further their investigations. Although he is nervous about what could happen should his identity be revealed, Clark agrees to help Lois and Jimmy discover the truth about Superman because that is something Clark himself must also know. Feigning sickness, Clark leaves the office while Lois takes Jimmy on a mission to find the woman that tried to kill them, considering her the best way to find Superman.

Clark returns to the Kent farm and tells Martha about Lois, how he used his powers in front of her and, now, she calls him "Superman". Clark informs Martha that he is ready to learn about who he really is and where he comes from. He digs up the platform, which has grown larger since the last time he saw it, and activates it. The hologram of the strange man appears before Clark, but Clark is unable to understand what the hologram is talking about. The hologram manifests an image of a faraway planet devastated by war. Clark watches the man from the hologram take a child from his mother and place him into a spaceship moments before the planet explodes. Clark realizes he just watched his own past and, suddenly, he is enveloped by a mysterious blue light. As the light fades, Clark finds himself back at the Kent farm, wearing a blue suit with a red cape.

Lois and Jimmy go to the salvage docks to find the ship Willis had stolen to escape from Metropolis. Although she ship has been wrecked, Lois and Jimmy find tracks leading to the sewers. They follow the tracks, thinking they can find Willis and her stolen equipment.

Lois was determined. "Taking the stolen stuff with her."

Jimmy nodded, piecing it together. "So, if we follow the tracks..."

Jimmy and Lois both realized at the same moment. "It will lead us straight to her!"

Jimmy pulled out his phone, a grin spreading across his face. "Alright, Team Jimmy and Lois are on the case." He smirked at Lois. "Smile for Y/N."

Lois flinched just as Jimmy snapped the picture. She watched him typing on his phone, glancing at her nervously.

"Are you sending this to Y/N?" she asked, trying to sound casual.

"Sure did, partner," Jimmy said, walking ahead.

Lois, flustered and trying to regain her composure, called after him. "As your boss, I need you to stop, or at least let me approve the pictures first!"

Her phone buzzed, and she glanced at it, her heart stopping. The text was from her dad, showing a picture of Y/N being forced into a van. The message said he had people trying to find him.

Lois freaked out, her face pale as she stared at the screen. "Jimmy, we've got a bigger problem."

Before Lois could tell Jimmy about the text, they heard voices echoing through the tunnel. She motioned for Jimmy to stay quiet and they crept closer, staying hidden in the shadows.

They spotted two men. One was carefully setting up bombs along the tunnel walls, while the other was pacing and muttering to himself, occasionally gesturing animatedly.

Jimmy whispered, "Hey, aren't those the guys we saw the other day?"

Lois squinted, trying to make out their faces. "Yeah, I think so. What are they doing?"

The men were Deadshot and Riddler. Deadshot was focused on placing the explosives, while Riddler was deep in thought, occasionally glancing at a blueprint and then at the bombs.

Lois and Jimmy exchanged worried looks. Whatever those two were planning, it couldn't be good.

Lois and Jimmy continued to listen from their hiding spot. Deadshot's voice broke the silence, "Ugh, a rat!" He recoiled, visibly disturbed by the small creature scurrying past him. He quickly pulled out his gun and shot it. Five times.

"I thought you said you were fearless." Riddler asked.

Deadshot shot him a defensive look. "I have a thing about rats and mice, okay? Just keep setting up the bombs."

Just then, Deadshot's phone rang. He answered, "Yeah, Leslie? How's it going?"

Leslie's voice crackled through the speaker. "How's everything on your end?"

"We're done here," Deadshot replied, glancing at Riddler. "Still no sign of Sportsmaster, though."

"Meet up with me at the cafe. We need to regroup," Leslie instructed.

Deadshot nodded, ending the call. "Let's go," he said to Riddler. The two men gathered their equipment and started heading out of the tunnel.

Lois and Jimmy stayed hidden, waiting for the coast to clear. They exchanged a worried glance, realizing they needed to find out what Leslie and her team were planning—and fast.

———

On the surface, at a small food joint, a man with white hair and an advanced military-like outfit waited at an outside table. Leslie approached him, smirking confidently.

"Marine, I'm thinking Black Ops," she said, sliding into the seat across from him.

The man, Slade Wilson, squinted at her. "Oh, I know all your history, Leslie Willis, also known as-."

Leslie waved a dismissive hand. "Let's skip to the only part I care about. I have something you want, you have something I want. Let's trade."

Slade leaned forward, his expression serious. "What do you want?"

Leslie's smirk widened. "I want off your weird hit list, genius."

Slade arched an eyebrow. "You really think you're the smartest person here? You have no idea what kind of technology you're dealing with."

Leslie pulled out a detonator and placed it on the table. "Then I'd say it's a good thing I planted explosives all over the city, and I'm ready to blow this place sky high."

Just then, Deadshot and Riddler arrived, with Y/N, their hostage, in tow.

Leslie got up and gave Y/N a quick, unexpected kiss. "Don't worry, cutie. You're still my favorite hostage," she said with a flirty smile.

Hearing the sound of moving metal behind Leslie, they saw Jimmy and Lois lifting the manhole cover out of the way.

Leslie's expression turned to fury. "THEM!? I thought I said for us to talk alone!" She kicked the table, sending it crashing into Slade and pushing him back. He rolled, quickly kneeling and reacting by taking out one of his black steel batons. With a swift thrust, he knocked the detonator out of her hand, which landed on the top of some stairs.

Slade glared. "You're right, I am black ops!"

Drawing another blade baton, Slade charged at Leslie, missing three swings as she backed up. Blue sparks emanated from her body as she floated behind him, wearing a cocky smile.

Leslie grinned. "And you are right!" She took off her jacket, revealing battle armor with white spikes on her shoulders and arms. "I am the smartest one here!"

She shot an electrical blast at Slade, who barely blocked it with his weapons. As the fight ensued, civilians retreated, while Jimmy snapped some pictures and Y/N stood paralyzed, unsure of what to do. Lois turned around and spotted the detonator Leslie had dropped.

Lois spotted Y/N and rushed over to him. "Y/N, are you okay?" she asked, pulling him into a quick hug.

"Yeah, I think so," he replied, still shaken.

Their reunion was cut short as Deadshot attacked Slade. "I've been waiting a long time for this!" Deadshot yelled, aiming his guns at Slade.

Slade dodged the bullets with precision and fired back, calling out, "Lawton, you never learn, do you?"

Before either could gain the upper hand, Carapax arrived, his presence looming large as he approached the chaotic scene. "Looks like the party's just getting started," Carapax said, cracking his knuckles.

Y/N noticed the detonator lying nearby and made a dash for it. Just as he reached out to grab it, Carapax loomed over him, casting a threatening shadow. Panic surged through Y/N, and without thinking, his optic beam activated, shooting directly at Carapax.

Lois watched in shock as Y/N's optic beam blasted Carapax. "How did you do that?" she exclaimed, wide-eyed.

Before Y/N could answer, Carapax lunged at them again. Leslie, seeing the danger, jumped into the fray, using her electrical blasts to push Carapax back. "Stay behind me!" she yelled at Y/N and Lois.

Meanwhile, Deadshot and Slade were locked in a fierce battle. Deadshot fired a barrage of bullets, which Slade deflected with his batons. "I've been waiting a long time for this, Wilson," Deadshot sneered.

"Floyd," Slade spat back, his voice dripping with disdain. "You're still as predictable as ever."

Amidst the chaos, Riddler was sitting at a table, drinking coffee and solving a crossword puzzle. When it came to problem-solving and building traps, weapons and making riddles, he was great at that. But when he came to fighting, he didn't have the lion share.

As Carapax lunged at Y/N and Lois, Y/N's body began to shift and morph. His hands turned into dark, metallic claws, and his skin transformed into the black and red smudge of his Malware form. "Stay back!" he shouted to Lois and Jimmy, his voice now deeper and more resonant. "I'll handle this."

Leslie glanced at Y/N, a smirk playing on her lips. "Alright, Malware. Let's show this tin can what we're made of." She unleashed a burst of electrical energy at Carapax, momentarily stunning him.

Carapax recovered quickly and charged at them. Y/N's arm morphed into a cannon, and he fired a powerful energy blast that sent Carapax stumbling backward. Leslie followed up with another electrical strike, targeting the exposed circuits on Carapax's armor.

Meanwhile, Deadshot and Slade's fight was escalating. Deadshot fired a series of precise shots, each aimed to exploit Slade's weak points. Slade deflected them with his batons, moving with fluidity. "You're too slow, Floyd," Slade taunted, swinging his baton in a wide arc that Deadshot narrowly dodged.

"Shut up, Wilson!" Deadshot growled, launching a mini-grenade from his wrist launcher. The explosion rocked the area, but Slade emerged from the smoke unscathed

Back with Y/N and Leslie, Carapax roared and swung his massive arm at them. Y/N dodged nimbly, his Malware form giving him increased agility. He countered with another energy blast from his cannon arm, while Leslie struck with pinpoint electrical attacks. Together, they overwhelmed Carapax, who was now visibly struggling to keep up with their combined assault.

As Carapax rose, he hurled a truck towards Y/N and Leslie. They braced themselves, but the impact never came. Looking up, they saw Superman holding the truck with ease, smiling down at them. He gently placed it on the ground and floated in front of the group.

"Lois—I mean, miss, are you alright?" Superman asked, his concern evident.

Lois, flustered, managed to stammer, "Yes, uh, do you have a comment for the Daily Planet?"

Before Superman could respond, Y/N and Superman were forced to turn their attention to Leslie. She hovered above them, surrounded by a crackling aura of electricity, carrying cars and vans effortlessly.

She hurled a car at Superman, which he easily dodged, but the second car struck him, sending him crashing into a nearby building. As Superman stumbled out of the wreckage, Y/N transformed into his Malware form, his body shifting into the red and black smudge, ready for battle.

Jimmy called out, "Superman, Y/-I mean Malware! There are explosives in the sewers!"

Superman and Y/N exchanged a quick glance, then turned their attention to Livewire, who was about to unleash an electrical blast at the sewer entrance.

Y/N took a deep breath, his anxiety bubbling up, but he tried to reason with her. "Leslie, you don't have to do this," he called out.

Livewire, her eyes crackling with energy, hesitated for a moment. "I don't want to hurt you, Y/N," she said, her voice softer. But her resolve hardened again. "But I can't let them take me."

Meanwhile, Deadshot had overpowered Slade and was about to shoot him. Suddenly, a car sent flying by Livewire's electrical blast hit Deadshot, knocking him down. Slade winced at the sight. "I hate that guy, but that had to hurt," he muttered.

Slade's eyes locked onto the core on Livewire's back, and he smirked, pulling out his baton.

"Leslie, please," Y/N pleaded, trying to cut through the chaos. "You're better than this. We can work something out."

Livewire looked at him, a flicker of conflict in her eyes. "Y/N... I..."

Before she could finish, Slade jumped from behind, stabbing his blade into her core and shattering it. Livewire let out a pained yell, backing away. Energy and electricity began to surround her as she floated in the air, attracting anything metal like cars, signs, and poles, all gathering around her.

Y/N flinched, taking a step back. Superman floated behind him, his eyes focused on her core. Y/N started to feel overwhelmed, the chaos around him making it hard to think clearly. He turned to Superman, trying to steady his voice. "Get Lois and Jimmy to safety."

Superman nodded, but Lois resisted. "I don't want you getting hurt, Y/N!"

Y/N looked at her, determination in his eyes. "I can handle high power. Trust me." He stretched out his hand toward Livewire, his Malware form glowing with energy. "Leslie, listen to me. You don't have to do this. We can still stop this without anyone else getting hurt."

Livewire, clutching her shattered core, looked at Y/N, her expression torn. "Y/N... I..." Her voice trembled, the energy around her crackling violently.

Superman moved swiftly, grabbing Lois and Jimmy and moving them to safety. Y/N stood his ground, his heart pounding. He reached out further, his voice calm but firm. "Leslie, it's not too late. We can find another way."

Livewire's gaze softened for a moment, but the pain and anger were still evident. The energy around her surged again, but she didn't attack. She looked at Y/N, tears mixing with the electric sparks. "I don't want to hurt you," she whispered.

Y/N hugged her tightly. He remember when he'd have meltdowns and what he did. "Leslie, focus on your breathing."

"It hurts, Y/N. I can't..." Leslie clung tightly to Y/N, the electricity crackling around them as Y/N continued to soothe her with his calming voice and steady presence.

"Just a little more, Leslie. You're doing great. I've got you." With careful movements, Y/N managed to remove the core from Leslie's back, the electrical storm gradually subsiding as he held her close, providing comfort and support.

"Adorable!" Jimmy said as he was recording this. Meanwhile, Lois, witnessing this tender moment, couldn't help but feel a twinge of jealousy mixed with admiration for how Y/N was focusing on this girl.

Once on the ground, Leslie got out of Y/N's hug and ran off. Multiple people began taking pictures of him.

"Is that Malware?"

"Did Malware and that flying man save us?"

"Malware just saved us!"

"Dear god, he's back!"

Y/N stepped back nervously and bumped into Superman, who just smiled at him.

"Hey. It's ok. I'll take care of things from here." He opened his eyes looking around the chaos, fallen cars and tables, using his speed, he fixes the fallen cars and trucks putting them back on the street, arranging the tables, putting out the fires all while Lois, Jimmy and Y/N watched.

"Your Malware! The Malware! As is the Malware! How could you keep this from me?" Lois was pacing back and forth.

Y/N, sitting on the couch, felt the weight of her words. He fidgeted with his hands, his anxiety rising. "Lois, I... I didn't want you to see me like that. I was also embarrassed by everything I had done. And..I was afraid you'd leave me." Y/N said.

Lois stopped her pacing and turned to face him, her expression softening. She rushed over and sat next to him, pulling him into a tight hug.

"I don't have much right to be upset with you for keeping secrets. Because... I've been lying to you too."

Y/N's brow furrowed in confusion. "What do you mean?"

Lois sighed, gathering her thoughts. "I always sort of knew you were Malware. I just didn't want to admit it to myself."

He stared at her, processing her words. "You knew?"

She nodded slowly. "I had my suspicions. Little things that didn't add up. But I love you, and I could tell you weren't that guy anymore."

Y/N felt a mix of relief and frustration. "Why didn't you say anything?"

Lois looked down, her hands trembling slightly. "Because I was afraid. I've seen you use your powers in subtle ways when you thought I wasn't looking."

Y/N nodded slowly. "I thought I was being careful."

"You were, mostly. But I know you too well," she said, giving him a small smile. "And I always had this gut feeling."

Y/N took a deep breath, feeling a mixture of relief and anxiety. "I didn't want to keep it from you. I just... didn't know how you'd react."

Lois reached out and took his hand. "I get it. And I probably would have been freaked out if you had told me earlier. And... there's more."

His heart raced as he waited for her to continue.

She took another deep breath. "I'm pregnant, Y/N."

Y/N's eyes widened. "Pregnant?"

Lois nodded, tears welling up in her eyes. "Yes. I found out a little while ago. I didn't know how to tell you, especially with everything that's been happening."

Y/N reached out, taking her hands in his. "Lois, this is... this is incredible. I'm gonna be a dad." He smiled happily and kissed her head.

Lois leaned in, resting her forehead against his. "I love you, Y/N."

"I love you too, Lois," he whispered, wrapping his arms around her.

As they hugged, they could hear music and some singing from rappers outside.

"I said you right I know the change, I know I'm feeling something strange. Stand up for something or fall for anything. Lightning came with no rain, I saw a supervillain last night, he was red and black. He said, "This is for the street, Malware's back"

"Ugh...wha what?" Deadshot asked as he looked around and noticed he was on a room and strapped to a table.

"Welcome to the party." Sportsmaster said as he was on a table next to him.

"Floyd Lawton. We found your gang's explosives. Your bosses plan failed. Now, your gonna tell us everything." A man behind glass said. Deadshot just laughed.

"The explosives were a last resort. While you wasted time on them, me, my boss, and what's his name, carted them to every low level criminal in Metropolis." Deadshot said with a smirk. "So fuck you, you wannabe me."

"We'll get it back. Nemesis Omega. Zero Day. Task Force X. Tell us what you know." The man said.

"I'm sorry, am I supposed to know what any of that is supposed to mean?" Deadshot asked.

"Floyd. Don't test them." Sportsmaster said. Both men screamed as a shock collar on their necks activated.

"Zero Day. Tell us what you know." The man asked again.

"I don't know what your talking about!" Deadshot snapped at them. He screamed as the shock collar activated again. He fell to the floor as the restraints burned off.

"The flying man. Why is Malware back?" The man asked casually.

"Who the hell are you people!" Bane asked. On the other side of the glass was The General, Slade Wilson, and Amanda Waller.

"That's easy, Lawton. We're the good guys."

Would you like chapters where Clark, Y/N, Lois, and Jimmy go up against Riddler, Clayface, Scarecrow, and Mr Freeze?

Mr Freezes chapter will be like a murder mystery.

Clayface's chapter will be a retelling of "The Clayface of Tragedy" from The Batman. Only he's going after Livewire. Yins spot would be filled by Flip, and Y/N.
