"Ishaan!"

"How dare you!"

Farah and Rishabh were coming to stop him but Agastya indicated them not to interfere showing his hand.

"You fu*king slept with my wife." Said Ishaan gritting his teeth making everyone hell shocked.

"Ishaan it's not like that...."

Before he could complete, Ishaan again punched him.

"Don't lie Agastya Rao. Kaal puri raat tum mere ghar mein the, mere bedroom mein. The guards have told me. Even I saw the CCTV footages. I saw Rumi in your arms with my own fu*king eyes. You are taking revenge right? Usne tumhe chhor ke mujhe jo choose kiya tha. Laath maari thi tumhe. Uss hi ka badla le rahe ho na? You fu*king bastard!" He said angrily.

"Bas ki jiye Ishaan Ji!" Said Sukoon finally coming in front of Agastya. "You can't abuse him like this."

"You are defending HIM?" Asked Ishaan with disbelief. "That man is cheating on you. Tumhe dikhta nahi hai kuch? Are you fu*king blind or what?"

"Ishaan!" Interrupted Agastya. "Tumhari problem mujhse hai. Tum mujhe jo bolna hai bolo. Par Sukoon se iss tone mein baat mat karo. I won't tolerate that."

"Kya bolu main tumhe? I can only request you. Whatever happened in the past, I don't care. But now Rumi is my wife. Don't break my home Man! And this girl...." Ishaan pointed towards Sukoon and said, "She very well knows that I'm not lying. But still she is defending you. You are doing very wrong with her. Don't do this to her at least."

Saying that, Ishaan left from there wiping his tears.

Agastya was standing looking down. His inner self mocked him. He was doing wrong with Sukoon. He had no right to do this with an innocent girl like her.

Suddenly he felt Sukoon's soft hand holding his hand tightly.

"Agastya don't worry. Koi kya keh raha hai iss se mujhe fark nahi padhta. I trust you." She said assuring him.

But it couldn't reduce the guilt which was eating him up.

"Tum sab kya dekh rahe ho? Koi tamasha chal raha hai idhar? Jaao apne apne kaam pe." Said Farah to their team members who left immediately.

"Agastya yeh sab faltu ki baatein chhor. Bohut kaam hai, uss pe focus karte hai." Said Rishabh patting his back.

"Haan. Aur Rumi-Ishaan se na dur hi raha kar. They are nothing but bad news." Said Farah.

Agastya didn't say anything.

Soon everyone again became busy on work but couldn't forget the drama that happened. Some members started gossiping about it.

"Did you hear it? Agastya aur Rumi kaal puri raat eksaath the." Said a girl.

"Bechari Sukoon! I feel bad for her. Agastya should not have done this." Said another girl.

"Yaar yeh toh hona hi tha. Agastya aur Rumi ke baare mein kisko nahi paata? There was a time when they were madly in love. Ab 1 saal baad aise eksaath kaam karte karte purana pyaar toh wapas se jagega hi."

"Also Sukoon is not Agastya's type. Sirf Rumi ko bhulane ke liye woh Sukoon ke saath hai. Aaj nahi toh kaal unke rishte ko khatam hona hi hai."

"So true. But inn sab mein Sukoon ki koi galti nahi hai. She should not suffer because of him."

"Exactly. But what can we do about it? Let's get back to work guys."

On the other hand, Agastya heard everything and felt pain in his heart. He looked at Sukoon. There was not that smile on her face which used to be there always. It was lost somewhere. His eyes became teary.

"Yes. They are right. Sukoon shouldn't suffer because of me." He said in his mind.

After finishing their work, Agastya and Sukoon returned home. In the whole way, they didn't talk to each other. There was an awkward silence between them.

After reaching home, Sukoon tried to speak to Agastya but he was lost in a different zone. He was fighting with himself in every moment. On one hand there was his guilt which was compelling him to do something he didn't want to while on the other hand there was his love whom he didn't want to lose.

"Agastya..."

Agastya's thoughts broke by Sukoon's voice who sat beside him on the sofa. As he was silent, she thought to initiate the conversation.

"Aaj theatre mein Ishaan Ji jo keh rahe the woh sach tha..... Yeh baat main jaanti hoon. Last night when I called you, I heard Rumi's voice on phone." Said Sukoon sadly to which Agastya took off his eyes. He didn't have the courage to look at her.

Seeing his expression, Sukoon hold his hands tightly and said, "Agastya main tumhe galat nahi samajh rahi. Main tumhe jaanti hoon. Aur Rumi ko bhi. Woh kis hadh tak jaa sakti hai yeh maine pehle bhi dekha hai. Mujhe bas tumhare muh se sab kuch sun na hai."

"Kya sun na hai tumhe?"

"Sach. Kaal raat ko kya hua tha mujhe sach sach baatao. Please!"

Agastya looked at her and asked, "Sach sun paaogi?"

Sukoon got scared hearing his words. Still she smiled forcefully and said, "Aise kyu bol rahe ho?....Haan... Main sunungi sach. Mujhe paata hai jaisa sab soch rahe hai, sach uss se alag hai.... Waisa kuch nahi hua hai tum dono ke bich...."

"Hua hai." Said Agastya with no emotions in eyes making Sukoon's heartbeat stop.

"Kya...hua....hai?"

Her voice broke. Her fear was increasing by each passing second.

"Sab kuch jo nahi hona chahiye tha. Sab sahi soch rahe hai. We.... We have crossed our limits last night."

As soon as Agastya said this, Sukoon left his hands. She didn't believe what he said. She didn't want to.

"Agastya tum.... Tum jhut bol rahe ho na?" She asked not believing his said words. Her heart told her that he could never do this to her.

"Nahi Sukoon. Yeh hi sach hai. Mujhe realise hua hai ki main.... Main Rumi se pyaar karta hoon. Main kabhi uss se move on hua hi nahi. Aur naa hi woh mujhse move on ho paayi hai. We....love each other. I'm sorry Sukoon. Jo maine tumhare saath kiya hai woh maaf karne layak toh hai nahi.... Par ho sake toh mujhe maaf kar dena."

He uttered all those words without thinking that those words were enough to make Sukoon shattered. She was numb. She didn't know that to say. That time she was going through the worst pain of her life, the pain of betrayal.

Sukoon stood up and Agastya looked at her. She started leaving from there without saying anything.

On the other hand, Agastya knew that he broke her. But it was necessary at that moment. He just wanted her happiness and for that he could do anything. No matter how much he had to suffer because of his this decision but he wouldn't let her suffer anymore.

After Sukoon left, Agastya closed his eyes and fisted his palm to control his own emotions. But he couldn't hold back the tears which kept falling from his eyes.

Sukoon entered her room and closed the door. She started crying sitting near the door remembering Agastya's words.

"Kyu Agastya kyu? Kyu toda mera bharosa? Pyaar hi toh kiya tha maine tumse. Uski itni badi saza kyu di? Pyaar karna toh mujhe tum hi ne sikhaya tha na? Warna mujhe toh pyaar ke baare mein kuch paata hi nahi tha. Tumne mujhse pyaar kiya, mujhe itne saare sapne dikhaye aur phir... Ek hi pal mein unhe tod diya? Kyu?" She said in her mind while crying.

Never in her life she thought that Agastya could cheat on her, could break her trust.

Here Agastya could sense that she was crying. He immediately ran towards the door. He was about to knock but stopped himself. He slowly touched the door and shed silent tears feeling her pain.

Chadha je saroor tera,

"Sorry meri Jaan. Par humare liye yeh hi sahi hai. Tumhe roz tut te dekhne se behtar hai ek baar mein hi kuch sab kuch tut ke khatam ho jaaye. Phir chahe iss dauran humein kitna bhi dard kyu na ho." He said in his mind.

They both kept crying for a long time thinking about each other. While falling in love, they never expected that this day would come. But the day came when it had to end. There was no way to get back to each other.

After two days...

Sukoon came out of her room holding her suitcase. She looked at the house where she once dreamt of building her home, having her own family. Now she was leaving everything.

For one last time, she came in front of Agastya. She looked at his eyes which were showing only pain. He was letting her go in spite of knowing that he would not be able to live without her.

Sukoon badly wanted to hug him before leaving but then she remembered about his betrayal. She loved him so much that she could forgive his any mistake if the mistake was not another woman. She couldn't forgive him for this.

She wiped her tears and took off the engagement ring from her finger. She kept it on the nearby table causing immense pain in Agastya's heart.

It was the last thing she said before leaving the house.

Agastya kept looking at the ring with teary eyes.

After a while, he realised that she was not there. He started feeling restless. There was an emptiness in his heart which was struggling him to death.

Without thinking anything, he ran behind her.

Main paa sakun

He came outside and saw Sukoon getting inside the cab. She looked at him once again with anger and pain in her eyes. Agastya wanted to stop her but felt that he had lost the right.

Kyun na saari dooriyan mita sakun.

Sukoon got inside the cab and left from there.

Agastya fell on his knees and started crying loudly looking at the cab. While Sukoon was too crying sitting inside her cab. They were going far away from the person they loved. And it was the worst feeling they ever had.

Sukoon reached the station. Even before getting up the train, she was looking behind. Maybe she was expecting someone to come and stop her. But nobody came.

The train started leaving the station. Sukoon kept thinking how once again she lost everything in her life. She loved someone with all she had. But still she couldn't be enough for him. There was always Rumi in his heart. She didn't want to be the third person in their story. So it was better to leave.

"And this is how it ends." She thought and a lone tear escaped her eyes.
