The morning starts with bird chirping.avni is sleeping on bed and neil is sleeping on floor.avni was holding neil's hand.avni wake up and saw that.she immediately left his hand.neil's sleep also broked by this act.avni was feeling hesitate.neil then said

Neil: don't be hesitant avni.vo kal raat ko tumhe panic attack aya tha toh tumne mera haat pakar so gayi thi.it's okay ☺️.

Avni: sorry.meri vajase tumhe yaha raat ko sona para😔.

Neil: it's absolutely okay avni.chalo ab tum fresh ho jao.fir breakfast karenge.

Neil then helped avni to get up from bed and took her to washroom.after sometime avni comes out from washroom and saw neil was making breakfast.neil also saw her and smiles.neil made poha for her.after breakfast avni was sitting on bed and neil was talking to doctor on phone for avni's physiotherapy.in meanwhile avni's friends also came.avni was feeling good to see them.after sometime they left.at evening neil took avni to physiotherapist

At Hospital

Neil and avni was sitting in the waiting room.neil already booked an appointment with doctor reema.after sometime the doctor called them.they went inside

Doctor Reema: please come in mr and mrs khanna.

Neil: thank you doctor.

Doctor Reema: well apki doctor ne mujhe iss case ke bareme bataya.i am really sorry to heard mrs khanna.but don't worry.i will try my best ki aap phirse chalne lagenge ☺️.

Neil: doctor kitne din lagenge avni ko thik hone mein??

Doctor Reema: mr khanna thoda time lagega.i can't tell you the exact time 🙂.

Neil: okay.

Doctor Reema: mrs khanna apke kuch test karna hai.aap please abhi nurse ke saath jakar kuch test karvaiye.mein thodi der mein aa rahi hu.and mr khanna please stay here.

Neil: sure doctor.

Then a nurse came and took avni for tests.doctor reema then said

Doctor Reema: mr khanna i won't lie to you.but case thoda different and difficult hai.mein avni ke samne yeh sab nehi bolna chahti thi that's why useh test ke liye bhej diya.

Neil: please thoda khulke boliye doctor.

Doctor Reema: mr khanna avni ki pero mein injury bohot deep aur bohot heavy hua hai gangrape ki vajase.aur truck se roadside pe throw karne ke vajase ye aur bhi difficult ho gayi hai.avni ki pero ko thik hone mein kafi time bhi lag sakta hai.even kuch saal bhi lag sakta hai unke pero ko thik hone mein.and unke pero ko thik hone keliye unke mental state bhi thik hona chaiye.i would suggest you ki unki physiotherapy ke saath saath unhe psychiatrist bhi dikhaye.unki mental condition is not good at all.i hope you are understanding my points.

Neil: i understand doctor.pata nehi esa avni ke saath hi kyu hua.usne toh kabhi kisika bura nehi socha.hamesha hasti khilti rehti thi 😔.

Doctor Reema: mr khanna i understand.but please aap ko strong rehna hoga unke liye.

Neil: yes I have to be strong for her 😔.

Doctor Reema: excuse me mr khanna.mein avni ko dekh kar aata hu.

Then doctor reema left.neil was sitting there was crying silently.after sometime doctor reema came with avni.then neil and avni went to their home.

At Home

Neil and avni was having dinner.after dinner they were sitting on bed.suddenly neil said

Neil: avni mujhe tumse kuch baat karni hai.

Avni: hmm bolo.

Neil: avni i know ki tum jis daur se guzar rahe ho usse overcome karna itna asan nehi hai.lekin hame unn gunhegaro ko saza toh dena hi parega na??

Avni: neil tum kya bol rahe ho??mujhe samajh mein nehi araha??

Neil: avni kya tum kal police station mein statement de sakti ho??

Avni: nehi neil no no no no 😰.vo larke bohot khatarnak hai.mein unke khilaf statement dungi toh vo log phirse mujhe... nehi dungi mein 😭.

Neil: avni esa kuch nehi hoga.aur mein hu na.mein tumhe kuch nehi hone dunga.

Avni: mene vicky ko reject kiya tha isiliye usne aur uske dosto ne mere saath 😭.

Neil: shhh avni baas jaan rote nehi.avni agar tum unke khilaf statement doge toh kanoon unhe saza dengi.tumhe justice milega.

Avni: neil vicky ke papa bohot amir aur pouche huye admi hain.vo apne bete ko churva lega.tumhara kanoon bhi kuch nehi kar payega.

Neil: avni don't you trust me??mein esa kuch nehi hone dunga.but tumhare ese dar kar ya rone se kuch nehi hoga.you have to fight jaan.tumhe larna hoga.

Avni: i can't do this.mujhme aab vo himmat nehi hai.

Neil: avni mein hu na.mein tumhari himmat banunga.aur tumhare friends bhi toh hai.hum sab hai tumhe himmat aur hosla dene ke liye.please avni please.acha kal nehi jaate kuch din baad jaate hai.tab tak tum bhi thora recover ho pao.

Avni: thik hai 🥺.

Neil: avni bohot raat ho gayi hai.tum so jao.

Then avni and neil slept.avni on bed and neil on couch.like this few days passed.avni's friends used to visit her regularly.avni doesn't go to college.neil was also working on avni's case.neil was also consulting a psychiatrist for avni but avni's mental condition was same as before.no improvement.even her feet were also not improving.in these days neil tried his best to convince avni to give statement.but avni wasn't ready.but today she agreed to give statement.neil smiled and said

Neil: thank you thank you so much avni.aj sham ko hum police station jayenge ☺️.

Avni: neil tum itna insist kar rahe the toh mein razi ho gayi.but mujhe dar lag raha hai.

Neil: avni jaan daro maat.mein hu na.

Avni: hmm.

Neil:sab kuch thik ho jayega avni.

At evening neil and avni got ready to go to police station.avni's hands were shaking in car.neil wanted to hold her hand but avni flinched by the touch so he stopped doing that.after sometime they reached at police station.neil helped avni to get out from car.they both went inside.dd and commissioner sir was also there.avni was feeling very hesitate to see them.commissioner sir then said

Commissioner Sir: avni glad to see you.i hope you are fine enough to give statement today.

Avni: (silent)

Neil: yes sir.avni statement degi aj 🙂.

Commissioner Sir: well then avni are you ready??

Avni: (nodding her head in yes)

Commissioner Sir: neil avni tumlog uss room mein betho.waha jo lady officer haina vo tumhara statement legi.

Neil: yes sir.chalo avni.

Neil took avni to the lady officer room.neil then helped her to sit on the chair.then he sit on chair.a grumpy lady officer came their and saluted neil and said

Lady Officer: jai hind sir.

Neil: jai hind.

Lady Officer: sir I am sorry but sirf victim hi yaha reh sakti hai statement dene ki liye.

Neil: but avni ko yaha akela chod kar jana??

Lady Officer: sir aap toh police station ke laws jante hai.

Neil: yeah I know ki statement dene ke time victim ke lava aur koi uske saath nehi reh sakta.but avni ko akela chodna thik nehi hoga.

Meanwhile commissioner sir came and said

Commissioner Sir: what's happening??

Lady Officer: sir aap hi please neil sir ko samjhaye ki victim ko akele statement dena parega.ye law ke against hoga agar hum neil sir ko yaha victim ke saath rehne de toh.

Commissioner Sir: well neil tumhe yaha se jana parega.i am sorry but ye law ke against hoga.i hope you understand.

Neil: i understand sir 😔.avni tumhe akela hi statement dena parega.please don't be nervous aur sach batana okay.mein hu tumhare saath.yehi paas mein mera cabin hai.mein wahi hu.tum darna maat okay 🙂.

Avni: ( nodding her head in yes)

Then neil and commissioner sir went outside of the room.only avni and the lady officer were there.the lady officer then started her interrogation and said

Lady Officer: madam dekhiye jo jo puchunga sach sach batayengi.jyada ghuma ke answer maat dijiyega 😒.aur please mundi maat hilayega.muh se bolna.

Avni: ji 😞.

Lady Officer: toh madam jinlogo ne apko rape kiya unke naam bataiye??

Avni: vi..vicky randhawa aur uske ga... gang ke larke.

Lady Officer: madam larko ke naam bataiye??

Avni: un larko ke naam mujhe nehi pata 😞.sirf itna pata hai ke vo vicky ka gang hai.

Lady Officer: ajib baat hai.ek hi college mein parte hai lekin naam nehi pata 😑.acha ye bataiye kitne larko ne apko rape kiya??

Avni: 6 la..larke 😖.

Lady Officer: apko kaha rape kiya??kisi sarak ke kinare ya phir kisi bandh ghar pe??

Avni: ek tr..truck pe.

Lady Officer: acha ye bataiye aapko kab rape aur kis tarikh pe rape kiya tha??

Avni: vo mein ....... tarikh ko police station se hostel ja rahi thi tab unlogone ek truck se nikal kar mujhe jabardasti andar le gaye phir mere sath 😭.

Lady Officer: aap police station mein kyu ayi thi??

Avni: neil se milne.

Lady Officer: ohhh 😒.acha vicky ke saath apki koi dushmani thi ya phir esehi aapko dekha aur khudko sambhal nehi paya.phir usne apne gang ke saath milkar rape kiya??

Avni: vo... vo

Lady Officer: madam ese atlane se kuch nehi hoga.zara jaldi bataye 😑.

Avni: vo vicky ne mujhe us din propose kiya tha.mene respectfully useh reject kiya.par vo mere sath jabardasti accept karane ki koshish kar raha tha toh mene thappad mar diya.isiliye usne mere sath😭

Lady Officer: aap useh poore college ke samne thappad mar doge toh vo chup thori na bethega 😒.uparse aap ko uss din hi akele bahar jana tha 😒.

Avni: 😭😭😭😭

Lady Officer: madam aab rone se kya faida.jo hona tha vo toh ho hi gaya.acha ye bataiye ki unloge aapko kitni der taak rape kiya??

Avni: may....maybe 2 ghante taak 🥺.

Avni: mujhe nehi pata 😭.mein baas unse request kar rahi thi ki mujhe chor de.

Lady Officer: kya aap rape se pehle virgin thi ya nehi??

Avni: mein vi..virgin thi.

Lady Officer: kya unlogone aapko rape karne se pehle kahi touch karna shuru kar diya tha ya phir sidha rape??

Lady Officer: madam phirse atla rahi hai.please thoda jaldi boliye 😒.

Avni: dono saath mein kar rahe the 😭.

Lady Officer: acha ye bataiye ki kapre phad kar ya phir pura nanga karke apko rape kar rahe the??

Avni: kapre phad phad kar mere body se kapre likal kar 😭.

Lady: acha toh ab aap ye bataye ki....

Avni: no no stop stop it.aur nehi please stop it stop it.

Avni could not handle any more and started to scream from top of the lungs.neil heard her voice and immediately ran toward the lady officers room.he saw avni was holding her ears and screaming non stop.the lady officer got little scared to see neil.meanwhile dd and commissioner sir also came there.neil immediately went toward avni was trying to calm down avni.but she didn't calm down.it's seemed like she was having panic attack.whenever neil tried to hold her hand she jerked his hand.she was totally a crying mess.no tricks couldn't calm her.after 30 minutes of trying neil and dd somehow calm her down by humming a lullaby.avni's all energy drowned from her body.she closed her eyes and drifting into sleep.neil then pick her up in his arm and laid her on his cabin's couch.he also called a doctor.dd and commissioner sir was also there.neil said

Neil: mujhe avni ko akela chodna hi nehi chaiye tha.sir mein isiliye avni ke paas rehna chahta tha.

Commissioner Sir: i understand neil ki tumpar kya beet raha hai.

DD: sir I think hume avni bhabhi ko yaha rest karne dena chaiye.agar hum baki discussion bahar jaa kare toh acha rahega.aur bhabhi bhi abhi nehi uthegi i guess.

Commissioner Sir: dd is right.neil tum mere cabin mein ao.waha baat karte hai.

Neil: par..

Commissioner Sir: don't worry neil.avni abhi nehi uthegi.

Neil: acha ekbar doctor aakar avni ko check karle phir mein aata hu.

Commissioner Sir: okay.

Then a doctor came and checked avni.the doctor gave a injection to avni and told neil that she will sleep for 4-5 hours.the doctor also told neil to not to worry and she will be fine after wake up.the doctor then left.after kissing her forehead neil went to commissioner sir's cabin.dd and the lady officer was also there.neil looked at the lady officer and said

Neil: kya aap mujhe zara khulke bolenge ki aapne avni ko konse konse question kiya tha??

Lady Officer: sir mene toh case se related questions hi kiya tha.

Commissioner Sir: toh phir avni ko panic attack kyu aya??

Lady Officer: sir vo me kese bata sakti hu.mein toh apna kaam kar rahi thi.achanak se unhe panic attack agaya.

DD: madam aap nah toh sach bol rahi hai aur na hi jhoot.ek kam karte hai aap ke taraf se mein bolta hu.

Neil: dd please jaldi bolo.

DD: neil sir madam ne case se related hi question kiya tha lekin unke tarika 😏.sir aap khud hi suniye unhone kis tarase avni bhabhi se question pucha.commissioner sir ap bhi.

Then dd played the recording statement.lady officer started to panic.neil got really angry to heard that.dd and commissioner sir was looking at her with disgusted eyes.neil was about to broke the recorder.but dd and commissioner sir stopped him.neil then went out of the cabin angrily.commissioner sir suspended that lady officer.neil came to his cabin and took avni in his arm.he then took commissioner sir's permission to leave and then leave for home with avni.
