I woke up the next morning with a wide smile on my face, I streched lazily feeling the comfort of the sheets. The memory of last night flooded my mind. As I was lost in the thoughts of my new boyfriend, he texted me at that moment.
Pat - Hello girlfriend!
Me - heyy
Pat - :(
Me - Heyy boyfriend
Pat - :)
Pat - sooo shall I drop you off at the clinic?
Me - not at all, you go for practice. I'll take the bus.
Pat - okay honey

He's such a sweetheart. I'm starting work today. It's been almost two weeks since I last went to my clinic. I've been avoiding things for too long. Now, I'll be busy doing what I enjoy. Pat helped me find a 1bhk apartment to rent. He wanted to pay for it, but I insisted on taking care of it myself.
I took a shower and logged in to my Instagram when I noticed I had multiple follow requests and tags. For a moment I thought I probably posted the nude that I've never clicked lol but then I realised what was going on.

3𝘳𝘥 𝘱𝘦𝘳𝘴𝘰𝘯 𝘱𝘰𝘷 :

As Aaheli scrolls through social media, she feels a wave of overwhelm wash over her as she sees the paparazzi pictures posted online. The exaggerated headlines catch her eye, with one reading, "Who's the mystery girl by Pat's side? A new love interest?" Another headline reads, "Pat's secret affair revealed with a mystery beauty!" These were the sweet ones. There were several others like, "Pat's one night stand?" and all sort of mean things just for some reason.

The comments section is filled with hateful messages questioning her character. People are quick to label her as a gold digger, accusing her of being with Pat for his fame and fortune. Fans of the SRH team are blaming her for their recent loss, blaming her presence for distracting Pat and causing the team's downfall.
One person wrote "damn bet she's a gold digger like all other wags" another person wrote, "Pat's only with her for a couple of days, watch him leave her as soon as he finds someone prettier."

Aaheli's heart sinks as she reads these hurtful words, feeling the weight of the accusations and negativity directed towards her. The online scrutiny and judgment leave her feeling vulnerable and exposed, as she navigates the harsh realities of being in the public eye.

* Pat enters the room *

Pat: "Hey, Aaheli, what's wrong? I can tell something's bothering you."

Aaheli: *forcing a smile* "Oh, it's nothing, Pat. Just some random thoughts. Don't worry about it."

Pat: *concerned* "Are you sure everything's okay? You know you can talk to me, right?"

Aaheli: *putting on a brave face* "I'm sure, Pat. Just focus on your practice for the next match. You've got this."

Pat: *sensing something is off* "Okay, if you say so. Take care of yourself, Aaheli."

Aaheli: *hugs Pat tightly* "I will. Good luck with your practice. See you later." *leaves for her clinic, hiding her true emotions*

As Aaheli is sitting in her clinic waiting for her next patient, she finds a familiar face entering the clinic with her dog. It was Anushka Sharma! The famous Bollywood actor and Virat Kohli's wife.

Aaheli: *quickly stands up* "oh hello there Anushka ma'am."

Anushka: "hey! This is my dog Pavlo, he was throwing up a while ago, can you please check him?"

Aaheli: "ofcourse ma'am" *she says and checks the dog. She prescribes some medicines and thanks Anushka for visiting*

Anushka: thankyou so much! You're a saviour. By the way, aren't you Pat's girlfriend?

Aaheli: *almost chocking on air* "people knows about it? Oh hell, it must be Maxwell no? He must have told Virat bhaiyya, he can't keep anything to himself"

Anushka: "hahaha don't worry it's okay, if you don't mind me asking, why do you look so off?"

*Aaheli found herself trusting Anushka enough to tell her the details of whatever is going on in social media. She tells her about how people are character assassinating her even though they barely even know her. They're calling her names and what not.*

Anushka:  "Aaheli, I know exactly how you feel. Back in 2016-2019, people were quick to blame me for Virat's performance on the field. They made me the scapegoat for his struggles, but I learned to block out the noise. Initially, it hurt, but then I realized their opinions didn't define me or my worth. I focused on my own growth and well-being, and that's when things started to change. I stopped letting the negativity affect me and instead channeled my energy into things that mattered to me. It was a journey, but I came out stronger on the other side. Aaheli, don't let the harsh words of others dim your light. Stay true to yourself, focus on what brings you joy, and remember that you are more than the judgments of others. Rise above it all and keep shining bright. You've got this.

With these words, Anushka hugged Aaheli and left the clinic. This was really something Aaheli needed at the moment. She called Pat and told him everything.
"Why didn't you tell me that before Heli?" Pat pouted
"Well, because Anushka bhabhi was better at making me understand this." Aaheli teased.
"Oh reaaallyy? I wonder if she can kiss you better than I do..." Pat teased back.
"Heyyy shut up okay? I'm at work. Okayy bye see you I love you!" Aaheli said widening her eyes.
"Cyaa, love you too." Pat said making a kissing sound at the end that made Aaheli blush.

After a moment, she noticed another post tagging this but this time from a blue tick account. Pat had posted a picture of them?? Aaheli was over the moon! She felt like a burst of sunshine on a cloudy day. On top of that, the comments under the picture were surprisingly positive and uplifting.
