Just as Severa said she would, she slew a vampire, stole its heart, and had Diaval spill his blood on it. Severa had returned to Caldore Forest to give the heart to the Lycan Banes' alpha and collected to her reward.

Returning to the kingdom, Severa and Diaval were married, truly becoming one. Severa had become the princess she never knew she could be and became the mother she never expected to be. A new addition to the happy couple was born seven years later and was now running freely around the castle.

"I must say, she's gotten faster." Diaval commented, holding his wife close.

"She's a hybrid of a werewolf and a vampire, dear. She got that speed from both of us," Severa chuckled, "Well, mainly you."

Diaval smirked and breathed out a heavy sigh. That's when the couple saw their beloved child standing in the doorframe: Meli Hatari-Naesala, the world's first werewolf-vampire hybrid. The child had silver and black hair; her ears and tail reflecting in color. The child's eyes reflected in the color of her parents. The couple smiled down at their daughter, and both kissed her forehead.

"Well, the two of us better get going. I had promised to show Meli Caldore Forest, her other home." Severa said, standing up.

Meli grinned and took her mother's hand.

"Can Daddy come, too?" Meli asked eagerly.

"Not this time, sweetheart. Daddy needs to stay safe from the werewolves." Diaval answered, standing up and walking next to Severa.

Meli looked up at her parents and tilted her head questioningly.

"But aren't Mommy and I werewolves?" Meli asked.

"Yes, but..." Severa said hesitantly.

She looked back at her husband for support and all he did was shake his head.

"We'll explain when you're older." Severa said.

"Okay, Mommy." Meli said.

"Go wait for your mother in the foyer. I need to speak with her for a moment." Diaval said.

Meli nodded and skipped out of the room. The couple sighed and turned to each other with concerned looks on their faces.

"We'll have to tell her eventually, Diaval." Severa said.

"But where would we even begin?" Diaval asked.

Severa chuckled and placed a kiss on her husband's pale cheek.

"We'll tell her our story..." Severa said.
