When they arrived at Sarahs home the next morning Jerry was luckily still asleep and they packed up Sarahs things as fast and soundless as possible.
They finished up by packing her clothes and was almost done when Jerry woke up. "Sarah where have you been ? What are you doing ?"
"I am sorry Jerry, but I am moving out, I can't do this anymore, we are over". She took of her engagement ring and put it down on his nightstand.
"You can't do that Sarah, I love you, you promised me forever". He looked unhappily at her.
It hurt her, after all she had loved him for quite some time and she had had so many dreams for them. "I truly am sorry Jerry, but I can't take any more indifference and jealousy".
"It is because of him isn't it, you are leaving me for him, I was right all along". He gets up, looking threatening.
"No Jerry, it is not because of him, it is because of the way you have treated me". She didn't feel she was actually lying, because that was the main reason and she should have left, Tom or no Tom.
Hayley stepped up. "Jerry you have to let her go, you are not good for each other anymore".
Jerry sat down on the edge of the bed and started sobbing, Sarah stalled, she had expected him to get angry and maybe even threaten her, but she hadn't expected him to cry.
She looked at Hayley wit a desperat look, wondering if she should console him, but Hayley who could see what went through her head, shook her head at her.
"Again I am really sorry about this Jerry, and I wish you all the best, but we are leaving know". She picked up her back and they hurried out into Hayleys car.
When they arrived back at Hayleys little house she send Tom a text > I have picked up my stuff and told Jerry that him and me are history, it went okay, and I am with Hayley now <
His answer came swift > I am so happy to hear it went well and that you are safe. Maybe I could come by ? <
She looks smilingly at Hayley, she would most definately like to see him. "Would it be okay if Tom came by ?"
"Of course, I guess I be seening a lot of him in the future, especially if you are staying here". She says.
She wrote back that he was very much welcome and send him Hayleys address.
About half an hour later a taxi pulled up outside and shortly after the doorbell rang, Sarah hurried out to open.
"Hallo darling". He flashed a grand smile at her and she threw herself into his arms, he caught her, lifting her of the ground, kissing her lovingly.
"Hey hey you two you are not alone and there is just some things I don't wanna witness". Hayley laughed behind them.
Tom gently put her back down on the floor and sent Hayley an apologetic smile. "Hallo again Hayley".
"Maybe we should keep it a little on the down low even on set, so no one can complain and we don't risk Jerry hearing about it". Sarah was sitting in Toms lap.
He sighed and his fingers ran up and down her back. "If that is what you think are best, that is what we do, even though I would like to shout it from the rooftops".
"Tom there is something I didn't tell you, even though I wanted to, Jerry has threatened to kill me if I left him and he has said he would kill you if you ever touched me, even though he on the outside took it quite nicely, I don't wanna push him". She looked at him nervously.
"You should have told me Sarah, not that it changes anything or well I would have forced you to leave him sooner". He was watching her with concern in his eyes.
Her hand ran up under the hem of his shirt, caressing his stomach. "You couldn't have forced me Tom and if you had tried you would probably had pushed me away".
"It is okay darling, I am just looking forward till we can act like a normal couple". He said, kissing her lovingly.
She smiled and answered, when he let her go. "We can sweetie, we just have to be a bit carefull in public for now".
