They next day after work Sarah went by Hayleys place to pick up some stuff and have a talk.
"Hi Sarah, haven't seen much of you lately, but didn't expect to, you two probably only leaves the bed to go to work". Hayley said with a smirk.
Sarah smiled but blushed a bit. "Hey we do eat as well, but I have to admit that we do not always leave the bed to do that".
Hayley giggled as Sarah shrugged apologetically, but then she said. "Oh by the way, I got big news".
"That sounds very exciting, come tell me everything over a cup of tea". Hayley grabbed an extra cup and sat down at the kitchen table.
Sarah sat down and poured herself a cup of tea. "I am going with Tom back to London, and we are making it official".
"Wow congratulations Sarah, so cool that you are just jumping into it like this". Hayley said with a big smile.
"It is just a trial run, I have asked for three months leave from the job, so that is when I have to decide if I go home or find a new job in London". Sarah said.
Hayley smiled. "Or you could just get married to him and let him take care of you".
"Calm down, I ain't even capable of telling the man that I love him and he doesn't strike me as the jump into marriage kind". She shrugged.
"Why are you not capable of saying that you love him ? And do you love him ?" Hayley leaned closer.
Sarah bit her lip thoughtfully. "I think I do, but I just go into total lockdown, like something wont let me say it out loud and he already said it twice".
"Wow he isn't holding back is he, but what does he say when you don't say it back ?" Hayley looked at her with big eyes.
"He is just so very understanding and says that I don't have to say anything before I am ready, but he wont feel like that forever". She sighed.
Hayley put her hand on top of hers to comfort her. "Don't worry Sarah, it will come, you just have to feel completely free of Jerry and trust in Toms love".
Sarah nodded and smiled lightly, she hoped her friend was right, Tom deserved her being able to reciprocate his feeling fully and express it.

The next day at work Sarah suddenly got a text from Jerry > Hallo, you forgot some different things at my house, I have packed them for you <
She was surprised by the friendly tone > Thank you Jerry, I can send someone to pick it up from you <
She didn't dare to go there herself to pick it up and she wasn't really happy to get someone else involved, she could hire some package company.
His answer came swiftly > I am driving right past the studio in about an hour, I can bring it if you come out to the parking lot <
She was a little doubtful whether to say yes, but it was somewhere public, he couldn't really do anything right ?
It fitted with her lunch break, so she wrote back > Okay write when you are getting close, and I will come out <
Right before lunch she got a new message from Jerry > I am there in five minutes, I am a bit busy, so I hope you are ready <
She told Tom that she was going to the bathroom and would meet him in the cafeteria, on the way out she send Jerry a message > I am on my way <
She walked out into the parkinglot at the same time as Jerrys car turned in, the lot was empty for people due to the time.
Jerry stopped the car and jumped out and she smiled friendly at him. "Hi Jerry, I hope you are doing well".
"As if, how do you think I am doing bitch". His voice was dripping with hate and contempt and she took a step back.
"Jerry please just give me the things and we can both get on with our lives okay ?" She could feel her pulse rise, she should have never agreed to meet him.
He walked towards her, looking threatening. "Like I would ever give you anything your filthy whore, now you will get in the car and go home with me".
She shook her head and backed of. "No Jerry, I am leaving now and I never want to see you again".
"Sarah get in the car, this is the last time I am telling you, or I will have to hurt you". She saw something shiny in his hand and she realised that it was a gun, pointing at her.
