"Honey, I'll be right back.  I'm gonna tell Sarah that you're gonna be okay."  Jessica held his face in her hands and talked to him in a soothing voice.

She took his hand and kissed it before she went out into the waiting room.

Sarah sees her and quickly stands up.

"Hey, how is he?"

"He's okay.  He has a concussion, but there is no permanent brain damage."

"Oh thank God!  How does he look?"

"Not great.  He's all bandaged up right now, his face is swollen and he's covered in bruises.. but at least I have him."

"Yeah, thank God."

Sarah hugs her and Jessica says, "Thank you for staying with me.  I know Danny hasn't always been your favorite person, but it really means a lot to me."

"Oh Jess, that was in the past!  Danny has completely changed into different person, and I really like him."

"Well good!" She giggles.

"Do you want me to take you home, or what's the plan?"

"No, I'm gonna stay with him tonight, I was just coming to thank you for everything, and to tell you that you can go home and get some rest."

"Are you sure?"

"Yeah, I'll be fine, thanks."

"Well let me at least run by your house and get you some clothes.  You've gotta be uncomfortable."

"I'm okay."

"You're wearing jeans!"

"Well they're unbuttoned.  That's why I'm wearing a long top." She smiles and lifts up her shirt.

Sarah takes a sharp breath in and slides her fingers into the jeans by her belly.

"Jessica, these are too tight!"

"Well thanks!"

"No, I mean to sleep in.  Jesus, those boys are gonna hate you for squeezing them in like that!"

"They're fine!"

"Jessica, I'm going!"

"Okay, thank you."

"Do you need anything else?"

"No, just the clothes will be fine.  I really appreciate it!"

"No problem!"

"I'm gonna go back with Danny, just call or text me when you get here."

"Okay, I will."

Jessica calls her mom to tell her that Sarah is headed over there, and to check on the kids.

"How are they, mom?"

"Jackson is asleep, and I'm trying to get Sofia to sleep, but she's too worried about her daddy.  I think she's gonna sleep with me."

"Aw, poor thing!  Let me talk to her."

"Okay.. 

Sofia, your mama wants to talk to you."

"Mommy?!" Her face lights up and she gets a huge smile on her face.

"Hi momma!  How's daddy?"

"He's okay, Sof.. He's hurt, but the doctors are gonna fix him up and he'll be as good as new!"

"Is he gonna die?"

"No!  Don't say that!  Of course he's not gonna die!"

"Good.."

"Are you gonna sleep with grandma tonight?"

"Yes, I don't wanna be by myself tonight."

"That's fine, baby."

"Good."

"Well I'll let you go get ready for bed."

"Okay, momma.  I love you!  Tell daddy I love him too and give him a kiss from me!"

"I love you too, and I will!  Don't hang up yet!  Can you give the phone back to grandma, please?"

"Sure!  Goodnight!"

"Goodnight, my sweet girl!  Have sweet dreams."

"You too, momma!

Grandma, mommy wants to talk to you." She hands Dorothy the phone.

"Hello?"

"How's Arabella?  Is she okay?  I haven't been away from her over night since she came home from the hospital."

"She's fine, she just fell asleep."

"Oh okay, and did you give her, her medicine?"

"Yes!  She gave me no problem at all!" 

"Hah!  The little Diva just saves the struggle for me, I guess!" Jessica laughs.

"Grandma's just have the magic touch." 

"Hah!  I guess so!" She chuckles.

"Well this bed isn't the biggest, but I wanna cuddle!" Jessica squeezes herself in the bed and lays her head on his shoulder, then places one hand on his stomach.

"I'm being very gentle, so I don't hurt you, Danny... Which is a lot more than I can say about our boys!" She giggles.

"Of course it might be the coffee I had earlier!  That was a bad idea, cause now they're gonna be up all night!  But I probably won't get much sleep either.." She looks up at him.

After Sarah brought her clothes, she changed and went back to sit uncomfortably by his side.

"So let's see.. What should we talk about? 

 You know what I was thinking?  This time last year, I was about twelve weeks pregnant with Bella!  Isn't that weird?  I also hated your guts, but you know I had a good reason to, you big jackass!" She looks at him and laughs.

"But I know you're a really good guy.  Every marriage has it's bad moments.. But we've been through so much together, especially this year.. and I know that it's only making us stronger.  I love you more than anything in this world, Daniel Huston." She says before she kisses his arm.

Jessica lays her head back down on him and smiles when she sees the boys kicking.

"You two are just wild, aren't you?! *Giggles* Wanna feel, daddy?" She smiles and grabs his hand, then places it on her stomach.

"Oh that was a big kick!  Yeah!  That's your daddy!" She says in a cute voice.

"Joshua, I can tell you're gonna be the leader of the two.  You're both strong, but Josh, you kick your poor brother around like he's a soccer ball! *Laughs* If daddy knew, he'd sign you up for soccer before you even left the womb!" She laughs.

"And Joe.. You have your moments too.  You just like punching your brother, don't you?  Heh!  I have a soccer player and a wrestler in my belly!  How cool is that?!  Isn't that cool, daddy?" She smiles and looks at Danny, then pauses.

Her smile faded away as she looked closely at him.

She tried being positive and happy, but seeing him in this condition was really hard on her.

"Danny, you're supposed to be the strong one!  I need you to be strong, baby, please!  Wake up, 'Danny.. Please?" Her voice cracks.

"I wanna hear your voice.. I wanna kiss your lips.. I wanna talk to you.. Make love with you.. I wanna fight with you!  Danny, please wake up!" Jessica starts to cry as she looks at him and begs.
