Jessica looked up and saw Danny at the end of the nursery.

"Hey.."
"...Hey."
"Is he asleep?"
"Yeah.  I just needed to get out of that room for a while.  What are you doing?"
Danny shrugs his shoulders as he traces his finger tip on the window of the nursery and stares at a baby that was squirming around.
"Just thinking." He says in a low voice.
"Yeah, me too."
"I remember being in here with the kids when they were newborns."
"Seems like just yesterday, doesn't it?"
"Yeah.  Remember how fast Jackson came?  I called your mom and she wanted to know if we were settled in yet, and I was like yeah, she had the baby!"
"Hm!  Yeah.  He was easy.  Sofia.. was not." She nods her head and slightly raises her eyebrows while looking at the babies.
"Oh I felt so horrible for you!  That was so bad!"
"You're telling me!" She scoffs.
"Yeah.. Hah.. well anyway, I guess we should get back to the room."
"You can go home Danny.  I'll stay with him."
"No, I want to stay here."
"Okay..."

Jessica fell asleep in bed with Jackson, and Danny slept in the chair beside the bed.

The next morning Jessica got out of the bed and rubbed her lower back.
"You okay?"
"Yeah, the bed just wasn't the best on my back."
"Here, let me." Danny stands up and goes to rub it for her.
"No it's okay."
Danny looks at her and she slightly turns her body to let him massage it.
"Thanks.."
"Sure."
"How did you sleep?"
"I didn't really sleep at all, but it's fine."
"Oh, sorry."
"No it's okay."

Danny continues massaging her back and slowly leans down to kiss her neck.
Jessica moves and Danny sits up straight.
"Sorry."
"My back feels better, thank you."
Danny walks to the window and looks outside.
Jessica goes to the bathroom and gets a sick feeling in her stomach.
Danny hears her throwing up and he knocks on the door.
"Jess, you okay?"
"I'm fine!"

"Mommy?" Jackson wakes up.
"Mommy will be right back.  How are you feeling, bud?" Danny sits in the bed and rubs his leg.
"I want mommy!" He whines.
"She's coming, are you hurting?"
"I want mommy!"
"Yeah I get that Jax."
"I want mommy!" He cries.
"Uh.. Jessica?!" He turns to the bathroom.

Jessica walks out with one hand on her stomach and the other hand running through her hair, before she sees that Jackson's up.
"Hi baby, how do you feel?"
"He wants you." Danny chuckles.
"Awe, you want me?  *Giggles*  I like to be wanted!" She hops over to the bed and cuddles him.
"I wanna go home!" He says in a sad voice.
"Well the doctors gonna come in and talk to us, then we can go home!"
"And watch Barney?"
"And watch Barney!" She giggles and hugs him tighter.

"Baby, I'll be right back okay?"
Jessica gets up and covers her mouth as she walks to the bathroom.
Danny follows her and bends down on the ground to rub her back.
"Danny stop, I'm not your problem anymore."
"I'm just doing what I always do when you have morning sickness."
"Well you don't need to."
"... Alright." He says in a whisper before he stands up and walks out shutting the door behind him.

After she's finished, she rinses her mouth out and sighs as she grabs handfuls of her hair.

The doctor comes in to talk to them and he clears Jackson to go home.
After he left Danny stepped out for a few minutes.

"Hey Jax, I'll be right back okay?  I'm gonna grab some hot tea to settle my tummy.  It's right out there, is that okay?" Jessica asks.
"Mhm." He smiles.
"Okay, I'll be back." She runs her hand through his hair and kisses his head.

Jessica walks out and Danny had his back towards her while talking on the phone.

"Yeah, I'm still here.  I couldn't leave them alone.... Yeah I wanna see you too.. We need to talk."
He turns around and sees Jessica standing there.
"Let me call you back." He quickly hangs up and drops his phone in his pocket.
"Was that your girlfriend?" She raises an eyebrow and walks passed him to grab some tea.
"No!  She's not my girlfriend.  She-"
"Hah!  You've got my confused with someone who gives a shit." She smiles.
"Jess I'm breaking it off with her."
Jessica stays looking down and he says, "You have to believe me when I say how sorry I am, and how fucking stupid I am!  Jess, I need you."
Jessica stirs her tea then looks at him and says, "Daniel, now is not the time or place. *Takes a deep breath* But I do have a favor to ask you... Will you take Jackson and I home?"
"Of course!  That's what I was planning on."
"Thanks." She walks past him and back into the room.

They pick Sofia up after leaving the hospital and head home.
Danny stayed at the house all day, mostly playing games with Sofia while Jessica took care of Jackson.

After dinner he kissed Jackson and Sofia and said, "You two be good for your mother."
"You're leaving?  Why?!" Sofia asks.
"I.. I have a lot of stuff to do."
"Like what?"
"Uhm.. Things." He pats her back.
"Don't leave, daddy!" Jackson looks at him with sad eyes.
"Oh buddy, I wish I didn't have to.. But I can't stay."
"Stay!  Stay!" Jackson holds his hand and cries.
Danny looks at both of his kids with sad eyes and Jessica can't help but feel bad.
"Danny... Why don't you stay?  Tonight."
"Really?" He smiles.
"Yeah.  I mean, if you don't have to do.. Uhm.. Things." She cracks a small smile.
Danny chuckles and says, "Well I'd love to!  I can do those things later."
"Yay!  Daddy's staying!  Mommy, can we watch a movie together?"
"Uhm, sure!"
"We're watching Barney!" Jackson says to Sofia.
"Oh that's right, Jackson wanted to watch Barney."
"Okay but we're kicking it back to old school Barney, like the ones I watched when I was a kid." Danny says.
"Barney's that old?" Sofia asks shocked.
"Thank you, Sofia." He says as Jessica laughs.

"Alright, time for bed!"
"No mom, please!  I wanna stay up!" Sofia whines.
"I'm not tired." Jackson says with his eyes half shut.
"You are about to fall asleep, little boy!" She taps his nose.
"Mom, we're never together anymore.. Please?"
Jessica's heart breaks when she hears Sofia say that.  She looks at her sad little eyes, and says, "Okay.. I guess we can watch one more."
"Yay!  Thanks mom!"

Eventually they all fell asleep except for Danny.
"I'm up at midnight watching Barney by myself." He says to himself before he looks over and sees all three of them asleep.
He stands up and grabs a blanket to cover them, then kisses each one on the head.
When he kissed Jessica he whispered, "I'm sorry I screwed up, Jessica."

He then laid on the ground and let them spread out on the couch.

The next morning Jessica woke up and heard Danny in the kitchen.
"Morning." He says in a deep groggy voice.
"Good morning.." She walks in with her arms crossed.
"Did you sleep okay?"
"Yeah, you?"
"It was okay.  I'm making French toast!"
"Oh I've been craving that!"
"I know." He turns to look her in the eyes before lowering them and adding, "You always crave French toast when you're pregnant."
"That's true." She walks over and sits at the table.
"Here you go." He sits the plate down in front of her and kisses her head, making her move.
"Sorry... Force of habit."
Jessica stays quiet and Danny sits in front of her.
"Thank you for letting me stay last night."
"No problem." She cuts her food and sticks it in her mouth.
"Mmm!  This is so good!"
"Good." He smiles.
"Danny, we need to talk.."
"I know.. Jess, I-"
"No, let me.  Danny, I know you love me, and I that you are sorry for what you've done... I just don't know how.. How to move past this.  Before I got pregnant you weren't very nice.. Then you got a lot better.. I don't know, maybe it was out of guilt, I Don't know! But it was nice.. I loved it.  But Danny, the things you did.  How do we go on?"
"Well.. You know how much I love you. You can see how this has broken me. I know you need time.. But I want to work on this, I really really do.  I will go to marriage counselling, I will do whatever it takes to make this better."
Jessica nods her head and says, "Okay."
"Okay, we can do it?"
"Okay, I'll think about it."
"That's okay. Take your time.. Just know that I love you and that I am so so sorry for any pain I have caused you."
"I know.  Until I make my decision, I think you should move out.  Or take the house, I don't care.. But I'm getting my own place, I can't stay here."
Danny just stares at her for a few seconds before he says, "What are you gonna tell the kids?"
"We'll tell them that you're gonna live with Angelica and help them with the house, since she's pregnant and can't do it."
"So they're just gonna think that I abandoned their pregnant mother?"
"No, I won't make you sound bad to them Danny.  Just please give me some time.  I'm not saying this is forever, but I need some time without you, in order to forgive you."
"Okay.. That's fair."

That night..

"Hey kids, we're gonna get your things and head over to aunt Sarah's for a sleepover!  Doesn't that sound fun?!"
"Yeah!"

Sarah cooked dinner and Jessica packed enough clothes for a week.
She didn't want to be in that house anymore, so she was hoping to find one in that week she was at Sarah's.

After they ate dinner, Sarah helped her get the kids ready for bed. 
Once they were settled, they both went downstairs and sat on the couch.

"So what's going on?  Are you okay?"
"I'm fine.  I just.. *Sighs* I don't know what to do."
Sarah looks at her and nods, then Jessica continues, "I still love Danny.. But I'm hurt and right now I can't look at him without thinking about it or seeing those pictures of her in my bed." Jessica tries her best to hold back tears.
"We just need to separate for a few months, then maybe start therapy.. We need to start all over and it's gonna take time."
"Well of course it is.  You're back at square one.  He has to build that trust."
Jessica nods and wipes her eyes.
"And getting out of that house will make it a little easier, I think."
"Definitely.  And you are welcomed to stay here as long as you need!"
"Thank you, Sarah!  I don't know what I'd do without you." She hugs her.
"Anything, babe."

Jessica has stayed at Sarah's for a few weeks, it was good because she helped with the kids and drove her to set everyday.
After Jessica and Danny talked to the kids about them not living together, Sofia had a harder time with it, but she's slowly starting to adjust.

"Jackson's birthdays next week, what are you guys doing?"
"Well Jackson wants it at Chuck e cheese, so that's what we're gonna do.  We talked and since no one knows that we're separated, we're just pretend to be happy."
"Hah.. Nice!  Oh and I was gonna ask!  Are you ever announcing this pregnancy?"
"Yes." Jessica smiles.
"I'm gonna tell everyone at his birthday party.  We'll have family and friends there, so I figured we could knock em' all out at once."
"Oh okay!  I was just wondering if you were gonna announce it or wait till it's born!" She laughs.
"Haha!  I know, I haven't even told my parents!  I'm just surprised I was able to hide it so long with it being my third pregnancy!" She runs her hand over her stomach.
"It's starting to poke out a little, but not much at all!" Sarah looks down at her stomach.
"I know.  I'm excited for my belly to get big again, and to feel my baby kick!  There's no greater feeling." She smiles.
"I can't even imagine.  You look happy.. I'm glad."
"Well I feel a lot better.. Now that the whole shock of it, is over.. I'm just trying to relax and enjoy my kids, and enjoy this pregnancy... Even though I don't think my baby wants me to enjoy it." She laughs and rubs her stomach.
"Right?!  You've been so sick!"
"And I have absolutely no energy at all!"
"Poor Jess.." She rubs her arm.
"But that's why I'm here!" She smiles.
"Yes!  Oh my gosh, you've been such a big help.  I can't thank you enough, Sarah!"
"Well it's been fun and I'm happy to do it!"

November 17th Jacksons 5th birthday.
"Happy Birthday, baby boy!  You're five!"
"I'm five!"
"Yeah!  Are you ready for your birthday party?"
"CHUCK E CHEESE!  CHUCK E CHEESE!  CHUCK E CHEESE!"
"I guess you are!" Jessica laughs.

Jessica gets there early with the kids and Sarah, and Danny shows up shortly after.
"Daddy!" Jackson runs over to him
"Hey!  It's the birthday boy!  Happy Birthday, Jax!"
"Thank you!  I'm five!"
"I know, you're so old now!"
"Yeah!" He laughs.

"Hey Sof!"
"Hi dad!" She hugs him.
"Hi Sarah."
"Hi." Sarah says not looking at him.  She still hasn't forgiven him for cheating on her best friend.
"Hey Jess."
"Hi Danny."
"How's everything?"
"Okay, thanks."
"Are you still having morning sickness?"
"Yes, it's so bad!"
"Oh I'm sorry.  I think it's a girl!" He smiles.
"Why do you say that?"
"Well remember how you were sick for months with Sofia?"
"Yeah, that's right."
"And I also remember how your lips got a little fuller when you were pregnant with her."
"Stop, I'm self conscious!" She covers them.
"No don't be!  I wasn't saying it as a bad thing.  I love them."
"Thanks.."
"I was gonna ask... If you don't want me there, then that's fine.. But Jess.. I really really wanna be there to find out what it is."
".. Alright, that's fine."
"Oh thank you so much!" He hugs her.
"Sure.  Are you ready to be fake being happily married?" Jessica smiles.
"Yeah!" He laughs.
"Does this mean I can kiss you?"
"No." She gives him a look.
"Worth a shot!"

After Jackson opened all of his presents Jessica said, "Thank you all for coming, we really appreciate it!  Jackson has something he wants to tell you all." She smiles at him.
Danny picks him up so that he's standing on the table.
"Thank you!"
Jessica laughs and says, "Yes, thank you, but remember the other thing I said you could tell them?"
"What?"
She laughs and whispers in his ear, "Tell them that mommy's having a baby!"
"Oh yeah!  MOMMY'S HAVING A BABY!!"
"What?!"
Everyone freaks out and Jessica's mom yells, "Jessica!  Why didn't you tell me?!"
"I'm sorry!  I've known forever and I kept it a secret!"
"How far along are you?"
"I'm 15 weeks and I've known since about 8 weeks."
"Oh my goodNESSSSSS!" She hugs her tight.
Jessica laughs and says, "Are you surprised?"
"Yes!  Oh my gosh, I'm so happy though!  I thought your lips looked plumped!  I bet it's a girl!"
"That's what Danny said!" She laughed and looked over at him.
Danny was smiling proudly back at her.

"Kids come on, we've been here for hours!  I can't take hearing that freaking mouse sing another song!"
Danny laughs and stands beside her with his hand on her back.
He rubs his thumb up and down, and looks at her, "So.. I know how it has to be.  We have to start all over.  I don't want to move in with you right now.. I'm miserable without you guys, but I understand now that this separation is necessary... and it just shows me how incredibly horrible I messed up.  BUT!" He smiles.
"I wanted to know if you would maybe go out on a date with me?"
Jessica chuckles and says, "... Yeah." She shrugs her shoulders.
"Really?!"
"Yeah!  I mean, as long as you don't mind that I have two kids and one on the way?" She laughs.
"Well I don't know?  That's a lot of baggage, young lady!"
Jessica laughs and pushes him away.
"Don't get too handsy, sir.. We haven't even had our first date yet!"
Danny laughs and stares lovingly into her eyes.

"We can get through this... I know we can." Danny thinks to himself while Jessica thinks,
"If we can make it through this.. Maybe we are meant to be."
