Jessica held Jackson until he fell asleep.
Once he was really out, Jessica went out to the hall to call her mom since she hasn't had the time to tell her.

After she hangs up she put her phone in her pocket and rubbed her hands on her face, then through her hair.
She walked down the hallway and heard a newborn baby crying down the hallway.
Her eyes filled with tears when she heard that little cry.
That was the same hospital she had her babies in, the same hospital she was in when she had an accident a few years before she had kids, and the same hospital she was going to have her baby in, in a few months.

As she walked past the maternity ward, memories of bringing her kids into the world started flooding back.

May 2007...

"Danny!  We have to go to the hospital, my water just broke!"
Jessica was six days past her due date, and had just taken a long relaxing bath.

"What?!" Danny hopped up from the bed.
"My water just broke!  We have to get to the hospital before my contractions become stronger and closer together."
"Oh my God!  Let me grab the bags!  Are you okay?!  Do you need anything?!"
"No, I'm fine."
Danny practically jumped over the bed and grabbed their bags for the hospital.
"Danny, be careful!"
"I have to hurry, I've gotta get you to the hospital!" When he looks over at Jessica she was holding her little belly in her hands, with a worried look in her eyes.
"Oh baby, come here!" Danny hurries over to her and wraps his arms around her for comfort.
"Everything's gonna be okay.  We're having a baby, Jess!  We're gonna meet our little girl!" He smiles down at her and puts his hand in her belly.
"Yeah!" She smiles back.
Suddenly Jessica gets a contraction.
"Ah!  Ow!" Jessica breathes and puts one hand on her bump.
"Oh!  You're okay, you're okay!  Just breathe.. Breathe... Good girl!" Danny smiles and holds her for support.
Once the pain passes she takes a deep breath and says, "Let's go meet our girl!"
"Let's go, baby!" He smiles and kisses her lips.

After twenty seven hours of painful labor, Jessica was ready to bring her baby girl into the world.
"Danny... I don't know if I can do it!  It hurts and I'm so tired." She cries.
"Yes you can Jessica!  I know you can." He grabs her hand and looks her in the eyes.
"I love you."
"I love you too." She says as he kisses her forehead.
"Now push so we can finally meet our baby girl." He grabs her hand and kisses it.

Jessica pushed for forty five minutes before her baby started to finally show her head.

"Ahh! It burns!"
"Just push pass the pain Jessie, you can do this baby girl. You're doing so well and I am so so proud of you!"
Jessica tries to smile through the pain, then squeezes his hand and pulls her legs back ready to push.

...

"WAAAAHH! WAAAHH! WAAAHH!" They hear after an hour of pushing.
"Oh my God.. Oh my God.. Oh my God, she's here." Jessica looks down at her little girl on her chest.
"She's so precious! Look at her, Danny!"
"She's beautiful, Jess."
Danny puts his arm around her and holds her shoulder.
"I love you so much. I can't believe that just happened!" He says kissing the top of her head repeatedly.
"I love you too." She looks up and smiles at him before they share a deep kiss.

November 2010

Sofia was three years old when Danny and Jessica decided to have another baby.
It took a lot of convincing Jessica to try for another one since she had such a hard time having Sofia.  But she really did want another baby, and she knew it would be worth it in the end.

Just a week before Thanksgiving Jessica had started to have harder contractions that lasted longer than usual.

Danny was downstairs with Sofia and Jessica was upstairs.
Danny let her sleep in that morning because the night before, the baby was moving so much that she was up most of the the night.

Jessica was woken up by horrible back pains, so she got up and took a hot shower.

"Morning. How are you feeling?"
"Like we're gonna have a baby soon." She chuckles.
"Do you think this is it?"
"Yeah." She says letting a deep breath out and nodding her head.
"Do you want me to call and tell them I can't go in today?"
"No, it's fine. I think I'm gonna get some last minute things ready in his nursery and do some things around the house to distract myself from the pain."
"Jess I feel bad, let me call in and stay with you."
"No please go, I'd rather be by myself."
"What about Sofia?"
"Could you take her to your moms on your way to work?"
"Uh.." Danny checks his watch and says, "Sure."
"Well if not then I can take her."
"No, it's fine. Is she ready?"
"Well you're the one that's been up with her!"
"I was just asking."
Jessica sighs then gets a contraction.
"Ah!" She bends over and puts her hand on her back.
"Are you sure you're okay? Do I need to take you to the hospital?"
Jessica breathes in and out and says, "No.. Sofia's labor was so long and I was miserable at the hospital.. I'd rather be miserable at home than be miserable at a hospital with nurses coming in every hour sticking their hand up my cooch."
Danny chuckles and say, "Okay... Well be carful, don't do too much and hurt yourself. Get some rest because if this really is it, then you're gonna need all the energy you can get." He rubs her back.
"I know.." She sighs and stands up normal.
He kisses her forehead and says, "Call me if anything happens, okay?"
"I will."

"Ah haa! Ouch.. Oh God.." She whimpers.
"This feels horrible.. I hate Danny!" She cries and moves her body around restlessly on the bed.

While folding the baby's clothes and taking them to the nursery she get a call from her mother. 

"Hello?" She she answers out of breath.

"Hey sweetie, are you okay?"

"I'm okay.. I'm in a lot of pain today, and I'm positive this is it."

"Oh my God! Are you serious?! Is Danny with you?"

"No, he's at work and Sofia's with his mom."

"He left you alone?"

"I'm a big girl mom, I'm fine by myself. I told him to leave and to take her with him. I just need peace and quiet right now."

"Do you want me come over."

"No I'm okay, thanks."

"Well don't wait too long before you go to the hospital, Jessica."

"I won't, I know my body mom. I just don't want to spend hours at the hospital like the last time."

"Alright, just be careful.  What are you doing?"

"Well right now I'm taking the baby's clothes up to his room, and after that I'm gonna start on dinner."

"Jessica Lange!  Can you please just rest?!"

"Mom, I'm fine!"

"What if your water breaks and you're alone?"

"Then I call Danny and he comes to get me."

"You always have been a stubborn little thing!"

"Always!"

A few minutes after she hung up with her mom Danny called her.

"I hate thinking of you alone and in pain. Are you sure you're okay?"

"Yes Danny, I'm fine!"

"Alright, well I'll be home in about and hour."

"Okay.  Be careful!"

Danny came home with Sofia right around dinner time.

"I can't believe you made dinner while in labor!" Danny laughs.
"Well it was a challenge." She chuckles.
"How far apart are they?"
"I don't know, but not close enough to go."
"They hurt?"
"No they feel great, Danny." She gives him a blank stare.
"Jess! Hah! I mean have they gotten worse?"
"Yeah, they're pretty intense."
"You're doing really well, babe."
"Thanks." She stands up.
"You okay?"
"Yeah, I have to pee!" She says with a little bit of an attitude.  She was tired of being asked if she was okay.

During the night Jessica's contractions became unbearable.
"Danny wake up!" She shakes him.
"What's wrong?! Are you okay?!"
"No, I can't take it anymore. You need to take me to the hospital."
"Oh my God!" He jumps up.
"Shh, don't wake the baby!"
"Well we're gonna have to take her with us!"
"No, I just called my parents and they're on their way."
"Oh my God.. Okay, let me grab everything."
"I already did, it's downstairs."
"You did everything?!"
"Well not everything yet!" She chuckles and looks down as she holds her stomach.
Danny laughs and kisses her belly.
"You are unbelievable! God, you're amazing!"
" *Giggles* Thanks!  Now can we please go?" Her smile fades.
"Yes!"

Danny let Jessica's parents in, then went upstairs and Jessica was putting her jacket on.
Danny held her hand and slowly walked to the stairs.
"Stop, I'm having one.." She stops walking and closes her eyes.
Jessica stayed calm, then continued walking.

"Hi Jessica.." Her daddy kisses her cheek.
"Hi dad."
"Jessie.. My baby!" She hugs her.
"Hi mom."
"I'm so excited, Jessie!  Go have my grandson!" She smiles and taps her stomach.
Jessica chuckles and says, "Oh I'm more than ready to!"

Jessica walks outside and slowly gets into Danny's car.
"Oh!" She freezes once she's in there.
"What?!" Danny panics.
"My water broke."
"Haha! In my car!"
"I was holding it for you, baby!" She laughs.
"It's okay, let's go because I have a feeling he's coming soon!" He rubs his hand on her stomach.

Jessica got to the hospital and was already at eight centimeters.
"Wow, we cut it close!"
"I know." She laughs.
"We're gonna have a son, Jessie!" He smiles.
"I know!"
Danny started rubbing her stomach and Jessica snapped at him.
"Stop it!"
"Sorry! Do you need anything?"
"I need you to shut up! I don't want small talk, I just need everything to be silent."

Jessica was laying on her side holding onto the side of the bed when the nurse comes in and puts her hand on Jessica's stomach.
"Oh please stop that!"
"Sorry hon. We're gonna get you ready for delivery, because you seem to be moving along pretty quickly."
"Okay, but I need you and everyone else to stop talking for about thirty more seconds!"

Once her contraction calms down she rolls onto her back and bends her knees.
The nurse slips a glove on and checks her cervix.
"Whoa! You're already at ten!"
"Oh my gosh.." Jessica says quietly.
"Your baby's pressing down on you, I'm surprised you're so calm!" She laughs.
"Hah.. Me too. But I do feel like I need to push. Can I please push?"
"Yeah, pull your legs up, deep breath in, chin to your chest and push as hard as you can into your bottom."
Jessica takes a few deep breaths and pushes hard.
"Good job. Deep breath in and push, push, push!"

Jessica pushes hard then takes a deep breath, "Ah.. Am I even doing anything?"
"Oh yeah! You're doing great, sugar." She pats her leg.
"Good job, babe." Danny kissed the top of her head.
"Thank you.." She says not looking at him.
"Ow, it hurts!" Jessica whines.
"The Doctors on his way, we're gonna do a few more pushes just to bring him down, okay?"
"Okay.."
"Take a deep breath in and give me a big push, sweetie"

Jessica pushes and the nurse stops her.
"Good job, now stop!"
"Ow! I can't, it burns!"
"I know, honey but he's right there and we need you to wait for the next contraction."
"I'm already contracting!" She says in an irritated tone.
"I know, but just breathe. If you push you'll tear."
Jessica laid her head back and closed her eyes.
"Oh please come out of me fast. Please, please, please.." She says on the verge of tears.
Danny moves the strands of hair that were laying on her sweaty forehead,then kissed it.
"Look at me.. You're beautiful, do you know that? You're so so beautiful."
"Danny!" She says looking down.
"You are! And you are so brave and so so strong! I love you so much."
"I love you too." She says as a tear rolls down her face.
Danny wipes it with his thumb and kisses her cheek.
"Just think... In what looks like a couple more pushes, we'll have a baby boy!" He looks "down there", then smiles at her.
She chuckles and puts her palm on his cheek.
Danny grabbed her hand and kissed it, then continued talking to her to distract her from the pain.
Jessica started whimpering and moaning in pain as the doctor finally came in.
"WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?! THIS BABY IS KNOCKING AT MY DOOR AND YOU'RE TAKING YOUR FUCKING TIME!"
Danny looks at the Doctor with an embarrassed face and rubs Jessica's arm.
"It's okay, sweetie!"
"Don't you fucking dare to speak, Daniel!" She gives him an evil look.
"I had a delivery, ma'am, I apologize."
Jessica rolls her eyes, and he washes his hands and gets ready for delivery.
"Alright jessica, I need you to pull your legs back and push as hard as-"
"Yes I know the fucking drill, can I just push?!"
"Yes."

Four pushes and the baby was out.

"Oh my gosh.. Oh my gosh he's here.. I can't believe he's here already.." Jessica looks at him crying on her chest.
"Danny, look at him! He's so handsome and perfect!" She looks up at Danny and cries.
"He is! Oh my God that's my son!" He tears up.
Jessica giggles as she watches how happy Danny is.
"I love you so much, Jessica! Oh my gosh, you're so amazing! You are the most amazing and beautiful woman in the world and I am so proud to call you mine." Danny kisses her lips.
"Well I love you too, Danny!" She giggles.

Back to present time...

Jessica found herself in front of the nursery window just staring at the babies.
She couldn't help but shed a few tears while she thought back to how things were.

"Oh Danny... Why did you have to screw things up?"
She wipes her eyes and looks down at her still flat stomach and rested her hand on it.
"It's gonna be different this time.. but it's okay... I can do it by myself... Your mommy's strong, little one." She whispers and rubs her hand back and forth.
