At the end of the day Jessica came home.  Danny had a crazy day with the kids but still managed to cook a delicious dinner.

"Mommy's home!" Joshua runs to Jessica and hugs her leg.

"Mommy's home!" Jessica imitates his voice as all of the kids run to her.

"Hi my babies!  Were you good today?"

"Not Bella!" Joseph says.

"Hey I be good!"

"No!  She broke the lamp, mama!"

"No say that!  No say that!" Arabella panicked.

"Oh Bella!  What happened?"

"I-I.. Mama, I miss you so so much." Arabella looks down and softly traces her little fingers on Jessica's hand.

Jessica chuckles. "I missed you too, Bella Boo.. Are you gonna pay for it?"

"I gots no money, mommy." Arabella holds her hands up.

"Heh!  Well I guess I'll pay for it This time.  You didn't get hurt, did you?"

"No, I got no boo boo's." She says showing her her arms.

"Well that's all that matters!  As long as you didn't get hurt."

"Yeah.. Mama, dada make some noodles and sauce."

"Yummy!"

"Yeah and I play with my new brother friend!"

Jessica chuckles, "That's nice, baby."

"Mhm!  Now go eat!"

"Alright." Jessica smiles and kisses her cheek.

Jessica walked into the kitchen and Danny was getting her food ready.

"How was your day?"

"Good!  Yours?"

"Crazy!  But fun." He smiles.

"That's good.. Thanks for dinner."

"No problem!  I'm gonna start on baths, you enjoy your food."

"Thanks.."

Two days later.

Danny was out running errands with Coltan and Jackson while Jessica was home with Sarah and the kids.

"Sar, can I talk to you?"

"Yeah, what's up?"

"I feel like I could have made the wrong decision."

"With Danny?"

"Yeah.. I mean, I love Danny but what kind of example am I setting for my daughters. No matter how great he may sometimes be, he did hurt me at one point... Sarah, I don't know what to do."

"I don't know what to tell you, Jess. I'm sorry."

Jessica looked down and started to cry.
"In my mind he only cheated once and I forgave him.. He made me mad by going behind my back to see Coltan, but once I thought about it, it wasn't so bad and I made excuses for him.. It's his son and he wanted to get to know him. It wasn't like he cheated on me again. I know that's dumb but that's how I felt. He's never hit me.. He gave me these beautiful children.. he helped me stay strong when Arabella was in the hospital.. He fucking threw me a surprise wedding! He did certain little things that I can't help but love him for.. but when I sit back and think of what I'm doing.. I feel so stupid."

"You're not stupid, Jess."

"I am, Sarah. I'm just so confused."

Danny's POV.

Danny stood in line at the grocery store and scrolled through his phone. He went through emails and text messages he had yet to respond to. One in particular caught his eye.

It was an attachment to a story trending online that read; "Jessica Lange has affair with long time friend Sam Shepard."

Danny squinted and continued reading.

"She came over twice.  The two had sex and promised it would stay between them." An insider says.
"Apparently her husband (Danny Huston) cheated on her and they recently found out he has a child from the affair.  The woman recently died in a car accident and now he (Huston) has custody of their son."

Danny couldn't believe what he was reading.  Who was this person and how did they get all of this information.
He was furious.  He left the basket there and grabbed Coltan.

"Come on, boys."

"What are we doing, dad?" Jackson asks.

"We have to go!"

Jessica's POV.

"Jess, your phones ringing.  It's Sam." Sarah says handing it to Jessica.

"Oh thanks!

Hey Sam!" She answer.

"Jessica!  I'm so sorry!"

"What are you sorry for?"

"You haven't been online?"

"No, why?!"

"Jess-" At this time Danny swings the front door open.

"Sarah, can you just stay in here with them, please?"

"Sure.. Is everything okay?"

"Jessica, outside!"

Jessica gave him a look and continued talking.
"Sam, what is it?"

"Oh it's Sam you're talking to?  Maybe he can explain what the hell is on!"

"Danny, what are you talking about?"

"This, Jessica!" Danny hands her his phone.

"Oh my God!" Jessica drops her phone in shock.

"But how.."

"Why don't you ask your boyfriend?"

"Danny!"

Jackson ran to his room.  He couldn't stand hearing them fight like this.

"You two need to stop fighting in front of the kids!" Sarah says.

"Did you do this, Sarah?" Danny asks.

"What!  How dare you accuse me of that!"

"Well who else knew all that happened with the affair and with Coltan?"

"Oh my gosh.. My family.. My parents!" Jessica holds her chest.

"How could you do this, Jessica?"

"How could I do this?!  Don't you fucking dare, Daniel Huston!  I don't regret what I did!  I needed to feel something!  I needed to be wild and to get back at you!  I don't regret having sex with him!  And how dare you get onto me about this!  I let you and your son move into MY HOUSE!  I made excuses for your sorry ass!  Don't fucking say shit to me!"

Danny scoffs and walks upstairs with Coltan.

Jessica was in tears so Sarah tried her best to comfort her.

"Who could have done this?"

"I don't know.. Oh God, why do things like this happen to me?"

"I'm sorry, Jess.  It's gonna be okay." Sarah hugs her as Jessica sobs.

Jessica's phone rang and it was her mother.

"I'm not answering it.  I can't talk to her right now.  My sister tried calling me too.. I have enough to worry about, I don't need them yelling at me right now."

"Jess, maybe talking to your family wouldn't be so bad right now."

"I'm not talking to them."

The doorbell rang so Sarah went to answer it.  It was Sam.

"Sam!  Danny's here, I don't think now is a good time."

"I don't care if he's here or not!  I need to talk to Jessica!"

"Alright.. well come in I guess.."

Sam walks in and runs over to Jessica who was sitting on the couch.

"Jess!"

"Sam!  What are you doing here?  You need to leave!"

"I have to talk to you!"

"Well let's go outside."

Once going outside for more privacy, Jessica could tell Sam had something really important to say to her.

"Jess.. I'm so sorry."

"Why?"

"The girl I was with the other night when you came over.. She's the one that sold that story to the press."

"What!  Sam, how did she know what happened between Danny and I?!"

Sam looks down and stays quiet.

"SAM!" Jessica screams as she hits his chest with her fists.

"I'm sorry!"

"How could you tell her what I told you?  I trusted you, Sam!"

"I know, Jessica!  I am so so sorry!" Sam says with tears forming in his eyes.

"My entire family and all of my friends know about this now!  The entire world does!  Damn you, Samuel!  How could you do this?!"

"I didn't mean for this to happen!  We were just talking after she heard you when you were over the other night.. I thought I could trust her, Jess.. I'm so sorry."

"Yeah well.. I thought I could trust you too." Jessica looks at him with sadness in her eyes.  Her heart was broken.

"Jessica wait!"

"Fuck you, Sam!"

Sam felt so horrible.  He really thought he could trust this woman.  Now he hurt the one woman he ever really truly loved.
