"Mr. and Mrs. Huston?"

"Yes?!" Jessica quickly walked over to the doctor.

"How is he?  Can I see him?"

"He's doing well.  They're taking him into recovery right now.  He'll be a bit out of it for a little while."

"But everything went okay?" Danny asks.

"Yes sir."

"Thank God." Jessica touches her chest. 

Danny tried wrapping his arm around Jessica but she pushed him away.

"You can come on back whenever you're ready."

"Thank you so much." Jessica walks over to grab her purse and Danny tries talking to her.

"He's okay.. I knew he would be.  He's a tough little guy."

Jessica completely ignored him and went to the back.

"Hey baby.. momma's here!" Jessica spoke in a soft voice.

"Mommy?" Jackson's voice was low and his eyes were have shut.

"Yes baby, I'm here.  I'm so proud of you, handsome.  Momma bought you a lot of stuff from the gift shop!"

"Thanks." He smiles softly.

Jessica smiles and kisses his cheek.

"You get some rest buddy."

"Can we go home?"

"We'll have to see what the doctor says, baby.  You'll probably be here for another night or two."

"Oh.. Do I have to stay by myself?"

"No of course not!  I'm staying with you, baby."

"Okay.. I'm gonna go to sleep.. Don't leave." He says reaching out for her hand.

"I promise I won't, honey." 

Jessica sat their holding his hand and just watched him sleep peacefully.

A little over twenty four hours in the hospital and Jackson was able to go home.  

Jessica focused on taking care of Jackson and Danny took care of the other kids.  Arabella was the only one that had a problem with that arrangement 

"Daddy I no want you!  I want my mommy!" Arabella pouts and crosses her arms.

"Mommy is helping Jackson right now.  She'll be down soon but I need you two get dressed so you can eat.. Please."

"No I wait."

"Arabella."

"I say NO!"

Danny sighs and just leaves her alone.

"Sof, is all your homework finished?"

"Yes.  I just need you or mommy to sign this."

"Okay, one second."

"There my mommy!" Arabella runs to her mother.

"Hi baby!  Have you eaten?"

"No dada no got good food."

Jessica laughs and picks her up.

Things were still tense between Jessica and Danny.

Jessica has been sleeping in Jackson's room and is only talking to him when she absolutely has to.

"Jess, tonight's my friend's party.. you said we could go."

"I'm not going.  You're free to do whatever you want.  You like doing that anyway, don't you?" Jessica gives him a small smile.

"Jess.. No, I'm not going without you."

"Whatever.  Sof let me see your report card."

Sofia hands it to her mother and Jessica smiles.

"Wow Sofia!  Good job, pretty girl!  I'm so proud of you!" 

"Thanks!  I tried really hard."

"Well all your hard work has paid off!  To celebrate momma will make your favorite AND chocolate cake!"

"Yay!  Oh thank you, mommy!" Sofia hugs her tight.

"You're welcome, sweet girl!"

A few nights later Jessica decided to go back to her room and leave Jackson alone for the night.  He was doing well but Jessica just wanted to stay with him and make sure he wasn't in any pain.

"I'm sleeping in here tonight so you can grab some pillows and blankets for the couch."

"What?  No Jessica, I'm sleeping in my room."

"Um this house is in MY name.  You know since I bought it when you were making a baby with another woman.  It's My room so get out."

"This is crazy, Jessica!  This is my house too and I'm not sleeping on the couch."

"It's either the couch or you can pack your shit and leave Right Now.  You choose."

"Can we just talk?  Can you just hear me out?"

"I've heard enough.  I'm tired and I want to go to sleep."

"No I'm gonna talk.  Jessica, I never said that I didn't love you or our kids.  This is something I've chosen that I want to do and I would appreciate your support.  Three years ago when you thought Trisha was pregnant You were the one that told me I needed to be apart of this child's life.  What changed?"

"We were happy.  We were so happy and I didn't want that to change.  Telling the kids will be so difficult.  Telling our family.. Danny do you know how embarrassing that'll be?  No one knows you even cheated on me!  If they knew they'd say I was a fool for allowing you back.  Now they're gonna know about this child that you just suddenly want to be father of the year to!  Danny, I will not let you embarrass me like that."

"We don't have to tell them."

Jessica rolls her eyes.  "Maybe I wouldn't be so upset with you if you had just listened to what I was saying.  You want to meet this kid.  Fine.  But don't just say Hey Jess, remember that hoe that destroyed our lives?  Well she's back and she had my kid.  Oh you're upset?  Well I'll be back I'm going to her house to see them!
Daniel you had already been over there!  You went Behind My Back!  Wouldn't you be pissed if it were the other way around?"

Danny doesn't say a word.  He looks down and Jessica scoffs before she grabs his pillow and roughly throws it to him.

"Get out!"

Danny doesn't talk back, he leaves the room without saying a word.

Things stayed this way for a while.  Today was Jessica's birthday so Danny got up and made her breakfast.  He really did love her and hated knowing how upset he's made her.

Jessica walked down in a robe and the twins on her hips, and Arabella following behind.

"Hey!  Happy Birthday, Jessica." Danny smiled.

"Thank you."

Joseph gasps.  "What!  It's you birthday, mama?!" He asks with wide and excited eyes.

"Mhm!" She giggles.

"Happy birthday big girl!" He says as he hugs her tight.

"Haha!  Thank you so much!"

"How old you, momma?" Joshua asks.

"Old!" Arabella answers.

Jessica looks down and Arabella was smiling up to her.

"You little stink butt!  I'm not old!"

"You soooo old!"

"Well thanks!" Jessica laughs.

Danny walks over and places his hand on her back and leans in to kiss her but instead gets the side of her head.

They all sit down for breakfast and Sofia picks at her food.

"Sof, aren't you hungry? Jessica asks.

"Yeah.. Mom.. Dad.  I've stayed quiet for a long time.. But I can't do this anymore."

"What's wrong, Sof?" Danny asks.

"What's wrong with you two?  You don't sleep in the same room, or don't even talk to each other anymore.  Dad, if you don't want to be with mom then just leave."

Jessica and Danny were both shocked at what Sofia was saying.

"Sofia I love your mother!   She's the one that kicked me out of the room."

"Don't you dare make me out to be the bad one in this situation!  Sofia, your father and I are going through.. grown up things right now.  You don't worry about it, okay?"

"How am I not supposed to worry about it when it's every single day!  It's not fun being at home anymore!  If you don't like each other then get a divorce!  I'm just tired of living like this already!" Sofia gets up and stomps off to her room.

Jessica sighs and Danny starts cleaning up the plates.

"We have to tell them." He turns to her.

"No!  Not yet.."

"Tell us what?" Jackson asks.

"Are you leaving us again?"

"No I'm not leaving, Jax."

"Then what?"

"Jess?" Danny looks to her.

"I said Not Now." Jessica says in a stern but calm voice.
