Jessica went on and just kept her feelings to herself, even though what Danny said really bothered her.
Was he blaming her for not being able to bear a child? That's when Jessica's anxiety kicked in. What if he left her for someone that could give him another child? Of course that was silly. Jessica gave Danny five beautiful kids. He would never leave her or his children.

Jackson's 8th birthday.

"How in the world can my baby be eight? Like that's so crazy! It's not possible, you're just a baby!"

"He's a big boy now!" Danny smiles.

"Yeah and I'm almost ten."

"No don't do that to me!" Jessica hugs him tight.

"You're momma's little baby ALWAYS!"

"No ME!" Joseph runs over and throws his face in her lap.

"Awe! You're momma's baby too!"

"He's a big boy too! Joe, how old are you gonna be tomorrow?"

"Gonna be two!" He looks at Danny and smiles as he shows his father two little fingers.

"Two! Such a grown man already!" Danny jokes.

Jessica chuckles and says, "I get sad with all these birthday's. Can't you all just stay this age forever?"

"Right? I told ya, if you could I'd make sure you were popping these things out every couple years."

Jessica looks at him then looks down and sighs.

She rubs Joseph's back and says, "Let's eat some yummy breakfast."

The twins 2nd birthday.

"Happy Birthday, boys!"

"We two mommy!" Joseph holds his little fingers up.

"Yes you are! I can't believe it!"

"Hey! I two too!" Arabella says standing at her mother's feet beside her brother's cribs.

"I know you're two too! You're almost three!"

"Yeah cause I a big big big girl!"

"Yes you are, princess!
Now can you say happy birthday to your brothers?"

"No it my birthday." Arabella touches her chest.

"No it's not, silly!"

"Yeah it is!" Arabella giggles.

"No it not!" Joshua narrows his brows and becomes frustrated with his sister.

"Yes it is!"

"Alright enough you guys. Bella, it's your brother's birthday, yours is in February babe."

"Daddy's babe, I not babe." She nods.

"My goodness you just know everything!" Jessica laughs.

"Is daddy my babe?"

"Mhm!" Arabella nods.

"So then what are you?"

"I da pwincess!"

"Oh that's right! Haha silly me!"

Christmas.

Jessica has been a little distant from Danny. There has been a bit of tension between them.
Jessica holds a lot of her feelings in, but Danny often expresses his.
For example today while having Christmas dinner with his side of the family he brought up a very touchy subject. It didn't help that his sister Anjelica was there giving her two cents about everything.

"Uncle Danny, your babies are so cute!"

"Thanks, Christina!"

"Will you have anymore?"

"No.. I'm afraid not."

"Why?"

"Aunt Jessie can't have anymore babies.  But that's okay, right babe?" Danny smiles at Jessica.

Jessica rolled her eyes and walked out of the room.

"What's up with her?" Anjelica asks.

"I don't even know.. she's been like that lately.  She's always blowing me off.... Menopause." He rolls his eyes.

Jessica heard him and her anger only grew.
Danny never found fault in himself, and that mad her so mad.  For the past three months he's said these little things that have gotten to her.  Jessica couldn't hold back for much longer.

"Kids, why don't you get ready so we can tell daddy we're ready?" Jessica asks.

"No mom!  We wanna stay!" Sofia says.

"I'm sorry but we have to go."

"But why?!" She whines.

"Sofia, now please."

"Ugh!"

"Is something wrong with your eyes, little girl?" Jessica asks referring to Sofia's little eye roll.

"No!"

"Drop the attitude, Sof."

Jessica walks back to the room with the bags, "You ready, Dan?"

"Ready?  Already?!"

"Yeah, the kids are getting sleepy."

"Oh.. Well alright then."

Danny stands up and brushes his hand on her waist. "Babe, look.." Danny looks above them.

"Mistletoe." He smiles and leans in to kiss her lips but instead gets her cheek.

"Hey!  Where's my kiss?"

"Can we just go home, please?"

"..Sure." Danny's smile quickly fades, "You got all your shit?"

Jessica ignore him and says goodbye to her in laws.

"Goodbye, sweetheart!  You take care of yourself."

"Thank you, Zoe!  You as well." Jessica smiles and said goodbye to her father in law.

"Kids, come say goodbye to everyone."

The car ride home was silent.  Neither Jessica or Danny ever spoke a word to each other.
When they got home Jessica took the kids up and put them in bed.

Once she was finished she walked straight into the bathroom and didn't even acknowledge Danny.

She took a long hot shower to try and calm her nerves and hoping Danny would be sleeping when she finally got out.  Jessica slipped into an oversized tshirt and quietly opened the door to find Danny awake sitting on their bed waiting for her.
Jessica just looked down and walked over to her side of the bed.

"Are we not gonna talk about this?" Danny asks.

"There's nothing to talk about, Danny."

"How about why you're always blowing me off?  What's that about?"

"What's that about? *Scoffs* Goodnight, Danny."

"No, we're gonna talk about this!  What's up with you lately?"

"Are you seriously asking me that, Daniel?"

"Yes!  I mean, I know this whole early menopause stuff is hard but Oh My Gosh!!!"

"Daniel, just stop!" Jessica sits up and raises her voice.

"I have had it with you CONSTANTLY talking about that!  Am I that unbearable?!"

"I don't always talk about it!"

"Yes!!!  Yes you do, Danny!  If it's not that, it's about how it's absolutely IMPOSSIBLE to impregnate!  You have five kids and one that almost died!  Be grateful for what you have!"

"I am, Jessica!"

"Then why do you always talk about how badly you would have wanted another baby?"

"Jess-"

"Do you not think I hate that all of that happened?  That now I don't even feel like a real woman anymore!  I feel horrible for not being able to give you a baby!  Danny, we have five, it's not like we don't have any. 
This was not something I wanted.. it wasn't my choice.  You okayed it because it was a life or death situation!  Now you make me feel like a horrible person!"

"I.. I'm sorry.. I didn't know I was making you feel that way."

"I hate the fact that now we don't have an option.  Maybe in a few years I would have wanted a child, I don't know!  But knowing that.. Ugh!  It's just stupid and you bringing up that it makes you so upset doesn't make it any easier."

"Honey, I apologize.  I never wanted to hurt you or to make you feel like less of a woman.  I truly am sorry."

Jessica wipes her tears and Danny rubs her back.

"Please don't cry."

"I've kept quiet and didn't say anything for three months.. Danny I'm sorry that I can't give you another baby but-"

"No, no, no.  Don't be sorry.  Jessica, you've been the best wife for thirteen beautiful years.  You've put up with my shit way more times than I deserve.  You've given birth to our five absolutely amazing and precious children.  I'm so sorry I made you feel like less of a woman..
Because Jessica, you are a damn strong and beautiful woman.  You're the strongest person I know, and I'm so sorry I hurt you.. again."

Jessica chuckles and wipes her cheeks.

"I know I'm not easy to live with, but-"

"No!  It's not you at all, honey.  I swear it's not you.  I'm just a mess.. you know that obviously.  I am truly truly sorry, babydoll.
..Will you forgive me?"

Jessica rolls her eyes and looks at him.

"Don't I always?"

"Yes.. and I'm a very lucky man that you do.  I love you." Danny scoots closer to her.

Jessica giggles and smiles as he kisses he side of her lips.

"I love you too."

"Mmm.. You smell so clean.." Danny mumbles as he kisses all over her neck, lips and face.

"Let's dirty you up a bit."

"Danny!" She laughs as he lays her back and gets on top of her.

"I know it's been a while, but try not to scream too loud and wake the kids."

Jessica chuckles. "I'll try and control myself."
