"Jacob! Wait up!". I heard a little girl laugh from behind me.

"Shadow? What are you doing out here? Your sick, you should be in bed." I heard an older boys voice answer. I looked around me, we where in the middle of a forest, and it was snowing. There where two figures in the trees, one was a boy with black hair and blue eyes. He was wearing a grey down coat and a scarf with snow pants on. There was also a little girl, her hair white like the snow.

"But I want to come with you!" The little girl cried. The boy knelt down and patted the girl on the head.

"Okay, fine you can come with me. Are you sure you don't want to ask Raven?" The boy asked, smiling at his little sister.

"No, she was busy today. Her mom took her shopping for winter cloths." Stated the girl. The boy nodded and got up, taking the girls hand in his and they walked towards me. I looked down at her. She had a silver eye and gold eye. Along with her pale skin.

"Funny, I don't remember this." I whispered to myself and the image froze.

"Because it never happened." A ghostly voice said. I shivered and looked around as the scene changed. Instead there was me, running through the halls of the mountain, alone, bloody, and cold. I never saw snow, we where always training.

"But why?" I asked.

"This is the life you could have had. The life where you could have been happy, things would have been normal." The voice said again and I realized it as my own. Again I shivered, thinking about the happiness I could have had as a pup.

The scene changed again, and I saw Raven, pinning me up against the wall in my old house, dagger to my throat. My cries filled the room and I saw again, the horror and emptiness in Jacobs eyes.

"You really forgive Raven, after this?" A voice asked me. I whirled around and saw Jacob standing there.

"W-what do you m-mean?" I stuttered.

"She killed us, and you forgive her, for killing me." He said, hurt in his voice.

"Why are you doing this?" I yelled, falling to my knees and crying. Jacob walked over to me and knelt down so I was looking at him. He smiled at me and took my chin in his hand. Pulling me closer to him.

"Whatever you do, I know it will be the right choice, that was the special thing about you. You always made things work out in the end." He said kissing my forehead before disintegrating into snowflakes and drifting away in the wind. I looked behind me just as I felt the knife dig into my skin I reached a hand up to the dull pain and looked at my hands, they where covered in blood. Looking back up I saw Raven drop the now, almost dead me on the floor. My eyes staring into Jacob's. She stopped right in front of me and breathed out, walking through me, like I was never there.

I woke up and shot up, looking down at the covers I saw blood, I rushed to the mirror and looked at my neck. The scar had opened again, but it seemed more like dried blood that was left there for several hours. Suddenly, I remember the dream. The air is sucked out of me and I stumble back, trying to think about what just happened. Finally I pushed myself up off the floor and walked to the bathroom.

You need to tell her! Crimson yelled at me.

Well I can't exactly mind-link her, now can I? I shot back, my temper running short. I ended the mind-link and washed he blood from my neck.

I counted the days as they slowly went by, eventually I heard Raven walk up to the other side of the door.

"Hey Shade!" She sang happily through the door.

"What do you want, Raven?" I snapped, my wolf growled.

"Well never mind then, if you're going to be such a bitch about it. I was only going to ask if you wanted to get out of there." The sighed and started walking away. I shot up off my bed and ran to the door and slammed my fists onto the door, pressing my head against the wood.

"Oh my god, I'm sorry, please let me out of here!" I gasp, desperate to get out.

"That's what I thought." I can hear the smirk in her voice and curse myself for acting so desperate. I can hear the key slowly turning.

Once Raven finally finished and opened the door, I ran through like there was a fire. I dash down the stairs and out the front door, falling into the grass. Raven walked out soon after I had made myself comfortable.

"Finally, freedom!" I moaned as I stretched my arms out. I hear her chuckle and place the key around her neck.

"Oh stop being so dramatic. You where only in there for a week." Raven rolls her eyes, joining me on the ground.

"Exactly! An entire week without shifting, and not being able to do anything but eat, drink, sleep, and bathe. It was horrible!" I whine like a pup.

"You should just be happy that I did not put you in the silver cells." She warned me. I rolled my eyes.

"Oh yeah, you're so nice, thank you so much for saving me from that awful prison." I say, sarcasm evident in my voice.

"Shut up, I let you out because we are taking our lovely felines and moving them out of the mountain." Raven told me.

"Oh, I thought you realized that you can't possibly be that cruel towards your own cousin." I sighed.

Don't go there. Crimson growled at me.

"Well, if you are going to be so upset with me why don't you go back into your bedroom prison." Raven threatened. My eyes widened in horror and I shot up and shook my head crazily.

"Alright then, lets go. The stable and training facilities are fully built now. Velox is already hanging out in there, we just need to get her family." Raven says. as we start to walk into the forest, I remembered how much I missed this part of America, though my wolf still wanted to see my mate. Even though I can told her countless times that, that was probably never going to happen again. This always made her howl in pain.

"Does the pack know?" I asked, walking slightly behind her.

"I already told Derek, Luke, and Hailey, so yes." She said ith a shrug, then my eyes catch on something slung over her back.

"Woah, when did you get that?" I ask.

"Get what?"

"What gun!" Surprise seeping into my voice. I point to the gun that is thrown over her shoulders. She look at my hand and then the M16. She explains that, while I was locked up, they got a huge shipment of guns. M16's, ammo, and explosives, but there where others as well. I nodded, trying to keep down the fact that I was dying to get one once we got back.

"Damn, I want one." I laughed. We kept walking and made it to the mountain, it takes us a little less than an hour for us to get to the cave entrance.

We get to the silver door and Raven punches in the code and opens the door. Our mothers sit at the dinning table, eating lunch.

"Hey, what are you two doing here?" My mother asks.

"We built new housing for the creatures. We thought it would be better to keep them close by, and we also have an area to train the kits." I explain.

"Do you want our help?" May asks.

"Can you open up the gates?" Raven asks. May nods and goes over to open the doors.

"I'll give you a warning. The kits are a little bit of a handful, even for Zelda." My mother whispers to me. I laugh and nod, going up to join Raven as an alarm goes off.

I see our animals step out in a mix of noises, from chirps to cuffs to moos (tigers make a noise that sounds like a moo. Don't question) and roars from Madox. Raven smiles and sighs.

"I didn't realize how much I missed them till now." She said.

"It will be nice to have them back." I admit, Raven nods, a smile plastered on her face.

"Wow this is really nice." I whisper as we walk into the stable, I was sitting on Abelardus and Raven on Madox.

"Garren is really good at what he does." Raven shrugs as we get off our cats and walk past the stalls. I make a small noise in agreement, staring around at the stables.

Slowly we put away our animals into their stalls. Zelda with Velox, Ada, and Alo. Two where females and Alo was the male.

Raven and I sit down in the grass and eat, then Raven looks like she remembers something as I am taking a drink.

"Starting tonight, you are Alpha." Raven told me. I choked and sprayed everywhere when I started coughing.

"Excuse me?" I manage to get out between coughs.

"Tonight you are Alpha." She says again, laughing.

"Why? What about you?" I asked.

"I'm going on a permanent boarder patrol." Raven sighed, this surprised me even more.

"What the hell does that mean?"

"It means I won't be able to act as Alpha, because I'm going to be busy killing Blake's pack, one by one." She stated. The last three words made me cringe.

"Are you kidding me? I can't let you go that, you are going to get yourself hurt." I snap.

"What, you gonna stop me?" She taunted.

"You are crazy Raven, I can't be the Alpha. They don't trust me like they trust you." I sigh,

"They'll learn, I know you can run a pack just as well as I can. Please Shade, I have to do this, I can't let anymore of my pack get killed. the last attack left us with 53 injuries, 23 dead, and 9 missing." She shakes the head and runs an hand through her hair.

"I know, I'm really sorry about that. There is no way I can stop you, all I can do is tell you to be careful." I smiled, trying and failing to keep the pain down, I knew that even if she was 'careful' it was much different than what I had in mind.

"I honestly thought you would fight more tun that." Raven says, shocked.

"Oh don't worry, I'll be coming to check on you and help out." I smirk.

"Whatever, come one. We need to get ready." Raven says and stands up. I nod and get up, streching my arms.

"Listen up! I am going to be gone for a while, Shade is your new Alpha till then. I have given the order that any disrespect, or anyone who defies her orders, will be put in the silver cells for me to deal with once I get back." Raven announces. I still stand behind her, slightly afraid of the pack.

I hear some wolves gasp when they heard that I was going to be put in charge. Raven turned and growled at them, they quickly shut up.

"Am I understood?" She growled.

"Yes, Alpha Silver." They whimpered.

Raven nodded and walked away, leaving me to the pack. I looked back before Raven vanished, I threw a smile her way and and returned it.

"Okay, first off, please don't call me Alpha White, call me Alpha Shadow. Second, we are going to continue business like normal, even with Alpha Silver being gone. Understood?" I asked, they all nodded, and some seemed surprised at my kindness. They all started to walk away and Luke came up to me.

"Any orders?" He asked with a smile.

"At the moment, just get some hunting patrols figured out." I told him. He nodded and walked off, as I made my way back to the house I saw a dagger lying on the ground. I went over and picked it up, finding that it was silver. I sighed and made my way after Raven.

I found her at the boarder, a patrol close by, heading it was Jackson to my horror, Raven had gun aimed at him and fired.
