As I pealed away the rest of the bag a pair of bright yellow eyes met mine. The tiny cheetah chirped and started romping around on my bed spread. I stared at it, wide eyed. Finding a comfortable place to sit, it curled it's not tail around its paws and looked up at me. Smiling I reached over to it and stroked it's head, I heard it purr. Picking it up I cradled it in my arms wiggling my finger around in the air above it. The kit began to swipe at my finger, catching it and chewing on it lightly.

"Hey! That tickles!" I laughed falling on my back. Her coat pattern was like a King Cheetah's but it was white and gray. Her yellow eyes sparkled and she circled on my stomach, lying down.  I placed my hands behind my head and watched her sleep.

"I think I'll name you Velox."  Velox in Latin means swift, quick, fast etc. She looked up at me at the sound of his name.

"Do you like that?"  I asked she chirped at walked across my stomach and nuzzled her nose into mine.  Pushing off the bed I cupped my arm around her so that she would not fall into my lap.  Again I cradled her and walked down the stairs, wondering where I would find Raven. When I could not find her in the house I went back up into my room.

Then I heard the door open down stairs and feet rush up the stairs. I looked down at Velox as she curled up in my arms just before Raven burst through the door. Raven's lips curl into a smile as her eyes landed on the sleeping kit.

Slowly Raven closed the door and walked over to me.

"How did she get here?" She asked me.

"May and my mom brought her here." I tell her, she reached her hand out and stroked her head and tapped her on the nose. Velox brought her muzzle up and bite her finger lightly.

"I wonder how the other two are." Raven sighed.

"I don'y know, but I miss all of them. I wish they could stay here." I told her. Suddenly her eyes light up and she grinned. I raised an eyebrow at her.

"They can stay here! We just need to build a place for them to stay!" The says excitedly. I caught on and finished her thought.

"We'll train these little guys, and keep them nearby so they'll be safe!" I almost yelled.

"What's her name?" She asked me.

"Velox, where should we keep her for now?" I asked, looking around my room.

"She can stay in our rooms, did you know there is a door between our rooms?" She asked me, smiling. I shake my head and give her a look that conveys the message.

"Look." She tells. I watch as she walks into my closet and points to a door at the back.

"I had no idea that was there." I say, shock riddling my voice. Raven shrugs and looks back at the kit for a moment. I can see as she remembers something, causing her eyes to swirl red and her teeth sharpen. I pull Velox close to my chest, incase Raven tried to kill her.

Ravens eyes suddenly glazed over, telling me that someone had mind-linked her.

"Shit!" Raven cursed. I set Velox on the bed and got up.

"What is it?" I asked, worried.

"Enemy wolves coming to the border, several dozen apparently." She tells me. I growl lowly and nod my head.

"Lets go."

I foot collides with a wolfs temple, snapping his neck. Dropping my foot, I looked over as I heard Raven's fist collide with a wolfs head. She whipped around and I ducked so she could knock out the wolf behind me.

Glancing around I see the damage I have done, killed some here and knocked out some there. Raven has also done a good clean up job and I look over and see several more wolves knocked out or dead. I smiled but then quickly focused again as a wolf launched at me.

Sharpening my claws I jump up past him and land as his throat explodes. More try to attack me but I swing my leg around and knock them out. Out of the corner of my eye I see one wolf chicken out and try to run off, Raven and I chase after him. Raven sprints ahead of him and holds out her arm.

He glances behind to look at me but looks back just in time to see as his chest collides with Raven's arm, flipping and landing on his back. Raven reached down and grabbed him by the neck as I kept a look out for patrols or other danger.

"Why is Blake attacking?" Raven snarled as I swiveled my head to get a better smell of the place.

"Because you are a threat, and you have taken many of our wolves." He spits. I can see as Raven's grip tightens around his neck.

"Well you better tell him, that this is one war he is going to lose. Tell him, that I will pick off his pack one by one if I have too. I have done it before and I will do it again." Raven growled. The wolf nods his head quickly and Raven drops him. He scrambles to get away.

I wince at the mention of the fact that she has done it before. I think back to my old pack, we where taken down in only a matter of weeks. I remember the hollow look in Jacob's eyes as Raven killed him, though I quickly shook that thought from my head. And growl at the wolf when he does not run away fast enough. Raven turned to me.

"We should probably get back to our own territory, don't you think?" I say with a smile.

"Yeah, lets go." Raven said, returning the smile. Once we got back Raven began counting bodies. She looked up at me with results.

"Blake, 13 injured, 29 dead, and two escaped. Our pack, 9 injured, 6 dead, one missing." She told me. I looked at her, confused.

"How can we have a missing?" I asked her.

"I don't know, they either ran away, or got captured." She said with a shrug. We help the injured and unconscious back to the pack hospital, Rosa and Hailey where there to meet us. Happily we gave them the wolves, Raven and a few other wolves took the enemy wolves to the silver cells. We walked back to the house together.

We sit on the couch for a little before I speak up.

"Was that true?" I asked out of the blue.

You know the answer to that! Crimson snarled at me.

Yeah, but I'm not sure if Raven sound know about that. I told her.

You had better tell her! She yelled at me before ending the mind-link.

"Was what true?"

"About you killing an entire pack, one by one." I asked, bitting back tears remembering my old pack. Raven sighed and nodded slowly.

"The Lunar Howlers Pack, I killed them when I was only a teenager. I killed wolves that where by themselves in the woods, broke into houses and killed them. The entire pack gone, in only weeks, by a single teenage girl." She told me, recalling the story. I nodded.

I know, I was kinda there! You kinda almost killed me! Though I'm glad you don't remember. I sighed in my head.

No duh she does not remember almost killing us! Crimson huffed at me. I rolled my eyes.

"Well, that would be one way to get rid of Blake and his pack, but they are a little bit bigger." I pointed out.

"Yeah, I guess I can just kill the ones near the boarder, and that would present a great opportunity for you." Raven tells me with a smile, I scrunch my eyebrows in confusion.

"What opportunity?" I asked her.

"To prove your worth as an Alpha." She told me. I nod my head.

"But I need to tell you something first."
