Eevee's P.O.V.

Violet smiled and grabbed butterfree's pokéball. The boy sent out a rattata. It looked like a small bucked tooth purple mouse. Violet sent out butterfree. The battle started.

"Butterfree use poison powder!" Said Violet.

Butterfree sent poisonous spores at the rattata. The rattata breathed in some of the spores. Soon the Pokemon was poisoned.

"Use quick attack!" Said the trainer.

The rattata started to run so fast it blurred. Butterfree tried to dodge it but the rattata hit her with full force. The force knocked butterfree out of the air. That must of hurt. Butterfree flew back up in to the air.

"Butterfree are you ok?" Said Violet worriedly. Butterfree nodded saying she was ok. "Good. Then use confusion."

Butterfree sent out circles of physic energy. The pink circles shot over to where the rattata was standing. The Pokemon tried to run away but the circles chased it. The rattata got cornered by a rock. The circles closed around the pokemon's head causing damage. When the attack stopped the rattata became confused.

" Use tackle rattata!" Said the Pokemon trainer.

The rattata ran to butterfree and hit her with a tackle. Butterfree took some damage. Both Pokemon looked sort of tired.

"Butterfree use gust!" Said Violet.

Butterfree whipped a very strong wind with her wings. She aimed the gust at rattata. The wind blew rattata off its feet and it slammed in to the rock behind it. The Pokemon slumped on to the ground. The rattata was knocked out. The other trainer walked over to his fallen Pokemon. He pulled out his pokemon's pokéball.

"You were great. Take a nice long rest." He said as he returned rattata.

He walked back to his position. He grabbed a different poke ball from his belt. He sent out a sperrow. The small bird pokemon flapped its wings.

"Return butterfree."

She grabbed a different pokeball and sent out mareep. Mareep got in a battle stance.

"Mreep use thunder shock!" Said Violet.

Static electricity crackle in her fur. Suddenly with a pop a small amount of electricity shot out and hit the sperrow. The Pokemon looked like it took a lot of damage.

"Sperrow use tackle!" Said the boy. He had a worried expression on his face.

The Pokemon charged at mareep. Sperrow hit mareep straight on. She stumble from the impact. But she still was strong.

" Use thunder shock!" Said Violet.

Mareep let let loose a thunder shock. It hit sperrow. The Pokemon fainted. They youngster walked over to his fallen Pokemon. He gently picked it up. The Pokemon weakly blinked open its eyes. It looked sadly at her trainer. The boy softly stroked her feathers.

"You did your best. Now take a rest." He said as he returned her to her pokéball.

The boy turned and walked over to Violet. He didn't look very happy about his loss. He handed her a pouch of money which is customary to do after a battle. Violet put the pouch in her bag. Then the boy walked away. He was probably going to heal his Pokemon. Violet turned to Mareep. She went over to her with a smile on her face. Violet picked up Mareep and hugged her.

"You did great!" She said happily. She set mareep back on the ground.

"Thanks!" Mareep replied happily.

"Now take a rest and return." Said Violet. She returned Mareep to her pokéball. Violet turned and walked over to me. "Hey we are almost to Goldenrod city. With out any more trainer battles we should be there soon." She said.

Then she started walking to Goldenrod with me following her. After a few minutes of walking along the path my ribs started to hurt more and more. My walking pace started to slow the slightest bit. We turned a corner and passed a small house with a blue roof. I looked straight and saw big gates. They lead to a big city. It must be golden rod city. We walked through the gates to the city. The roads were made of brick and the streets were filled with buildings. The street light were flickering on in the evening light. I saw the red roof of the Pokemon center a block away. We walked to the Pokemon center.
