Eevee's P.O.V

Violet stood up. She walked over to the end of the air mattress. She pulled a plug at the end and the mattress started to deflate. I walked off the mattress. I grabbed the blanket and brought it over to Violet. She took the blanket from me.

"Thank you." She said happily.

"No problem." I replied.

She smiled and rolled up the blanket and put it in her bag. She completely deflated the air mattress. She rolled it up and put it in her bag. How can her bag hold all of that stuff? Im just not gonna ask. She stood up and walked out of the tent. I walked out after her. My ribs hurt when I walked. But it was bearable. I got out side and saw Violet letting out all of her Pokémon.

Then Violet started to disassemble the tent. Butterfree used confusion to help pull out the stakes. After a few minutes the tent was completely disassembled. Violet stuffed the tent bag in her bag. I looked and saw the fire had been properly put out. Violet stood up and faced her Pokémon and I.

"Guys we are going to Goldenrod city. We are all most there so we should get there before dark. Let's go!" Said Violet excitedly.

We started walking following Violet. Cindaquill walked over to me.

"How you feeling?" She asked me.

"I'm feeling a little bit better than before." I replied.

"That's good. By the way what are you going to do when your ribs heal?" She asked.

"I really don't know yet. But I still have some time to think about it." I replied.

For the next half hour we talked about different things getting to know each other better. I found out that Cindaquill was Violets first Pokémon and that they had been traveling together for a couple of weeks. Violet has 2 gym badges and is going to get her third in Goldenrod city. We were so deep in chatting I didn't notice the that the others stopped walking. I quickly stopped so I didn't run in to Mareep.

I saw Violet talking to a kimono girl. Their conversation went like this.

Kimono girl: Please trainer can you help me? I'm lost in this forest.

Violet: Of course we can help you we were just leaving the forest our selves.

Kimono girl: Thank you so much kind trainer.

We started to walk with the kimono girl. She looked at us. She saw me and her eyes grew wide. She went over to Violet.

"Is that your eevee?" She asked curious.

"No I found her out in the woods." Then Violet added quietly." I think her last trainer abused her. But she doesn't like to hear about them." She tried to speak softly so I didn't hear her but I did.

A small shiver went through my body. The kimono girl nodded looking deep in thought. I looked up and saw we were at the edge of the forest. The kimono girl smiled.

"Thank you for helping me. "She said and she walked out of the forest.

Violet turned to us. She grabbed her pokéballs from her belt. She returned all her Pokémon to their pokeball's.

"Eevee we are almost to Goldenrod. We are going to stay the night at the pokécenter. Also I want to get your ribs checked out." Said Violet.

"Ok let's go then." I said.

We walked out of the forest. The sun was just starting to set. The sky was a mix of red, blue, purple, and orange. It looked lovely. The path we were on was lined with trees on our right and a river on our left. We walked for a bit on the path. The pain in my ribs was getting a little bit worse. But i could still bear it. I saw a trainer up a head. He was wearing a blue base ball cap, a yellow shirt, and blue shorts. He pulled a pokeball from his belt.

He saw Violet and said. "Hey you trainer i challenge you to a battle."
