"I'm going to fucking kill him"

Jimin said through gritted teeth, aggressively grabbing his hoodie and standing up, only to be pulled back down to the couch by Namjoon.

"Baby, you may be dating a lawyer, but I can only protect you from so much." Namjoon argued putting his arm securely around Jimin's waist.

The smaller male only huffed in anger muttering out 'useless lawyer boyfriend' under his breath.

The morning after the night Jungkook had come to a painful conclusion he decided to visit his best friend. He tried his best to act normal around Taehyung that morning, even blaming ramen for the swelling of his eyes. When Taehyung left for work, he couldn't help but let out a sigh of relief. He has never felt more suffocated by the presence of his husband until now.

Now he's here, in his best friend's apartment complex choking on his words trying to explain what happened. Jimin's arms wrapped around his sorrowful figure. The latter had taken him into his home without any hesitations. Seeing Jungkook's tear stained face and loungewear was enough for him to burst in a fit of concerned questions.

"so, are you going to divorce hi- "

"Woah woah woah, let's not get ahead of ourselves and talk about divorces just yet" Namjoon cut off, stopping his boyfriend's suggestions.

"what are you saying? Are you siding with Taehyung?? Listen, Once a cheater, always a cheater" Jimin glared at Namjoon before patting Jungkook's back once more. The latter carefully holding the hot teacup Jimin gave him, as if he were holding the pieces of his heart.

"Baby, you know I would never. All I'm trying to say is, Jungkook shouldn't make hasty decisions. We have no proof of him cheating, and you can't file for a divorce just yet unless there's a mutual agreement between both parties. Have you talked to Taehyung about this?" Namjoon questioned.

Jungkook timidly shook his head. "I couldn't even look at him in the eye this morning" he explained, looking down on the floor. He no longer tried keeping his tears in, since they flowed out to no end.

Namjoon reached out to hold Jungkook's hand in his, giving him a reassuring look

"you need to settle this with him, Maybe it's all a misunderstanding. Things will go back to normal kook"

Only, things never went back to normal.

Jungkook never found it in himself to confront Taehyung about it. Instead, he gave him time to confess.

He felt stupid and his best friend thought so too, but he couldn't stand the idea of having that conversation with his husband. He loved Taehyung so much, to the point that if he confessed, he would forgive him despite the pain he caused. Jungkook's love was pure, unconditional, and most of all

However, as the days continued to pass, the longer Jungkook was silently suffering. He was waiting for the love of his life to choose him.

Patiently waiting for the day Taehyung realizes the tear stains on his pillow every night. Patiently waiting for Taehyung to notice how thin he's getting. Patiently waiting for the day Taehyung realizes he stopped giving him goodbye kisses, because every time he did, he would feel extremely filthy to the point he would scrub his lips for hours. Knowing in his heart that those same lips have touched someone else in such an intimate way.

Nothing ever happened. Even after 2 weeks of knowing, Taehyung never looked in his direction. Instead, people around him noticed. Makeup artists and models would ask him if he was alright during photoshoots. He had also cancelled all wedding photoshoots because it was too painful to bare, even though those were his favorite photoshoots to do. He had started smoking more often, trying his best to let everything out.

Nothing went back to normal, if anything it got worse.

Jungkook had decided to mend what was left of their dull marriage. So, he bought some of Taehyung's favorite Chinese take-out and decided to visit the company after so long.
