Arjun headed towards a quiet spot in outside his cabin to received the call, he immediately answered the call before it could get cut. He was a bit nervous to answer his childhood friend Aarush with whom he was about to talk after a long while.

Arjun: Hello?

Aarush: Heyy Arjun! how are you? How is everything going?

Arjun: I'm good, all well. How are you?

Aarush: I'm fine, it has really been a while since we last talked, I hope you didn't forget me. *he said sarcastically*

Arjun: How can I forget you? Is everything okay Aarush? You called out of the blue.

Aarush: Umm yeah, everything is perfectly fine. Actually I recently came back from USA. So just planned a reunion for all of us friends so thought to invite you too. Do come, and yeah if possible then please give my invitation to Mr. Mehra too on my behalf and don't forget to bring Isha bhabhi with you.

Arjun: Sorry Aarush, but Isha will not be able to make it to the party, she already must be occupied with her shoots and I don't want to disturb her more.

Aarush: Don't you want to disturb her Arjun or don't you want to get her along with you? Till when Arjun will you give that poor girl the punishment of what she isn't even aware of?

Arjun gulped hard feeling a pang of guilt but he was helpless, he know himself he was doing injustice with her but he had no choice. He sighed.

Arjun: Aarush, I'll call you in a while. Some guests just appeared.

Aarush: I know who your invisible guests are but anyway, I'll text you the date, time and venue. Catch me up there.

Arjun: Sure.

Aarush hanged up the phone. Arjun took a deep breath and slide his phone into his pocket before heading up to his cabin. He entered the cabin and sat on his chair. Krish noticed a cold expression on his face but still asked.

Krish: Who was it?

Arjun: Uhh..umm.. It was Aarush, my childhood friend.

Krish: Is that the Aarush Malhotra? I think I know him, The same guy whom you introduced me to for a business deal long back?

Arjun: Yes, he the same guy. *he sighed* He recently came back from USA so he planned a reunion for all our Alumis along with their families, he gave an invitation for you too.

Krish: That's great! *he exclaimed* We all will surely be present there then.

Arjun: Not all krish, *he paused* only you and I...

Krish: Don't tell me that you again are not gonna take Isha with you! *his face reflected irritation*

Arjun felt this for Isha, he knew Krish was like a protective younger brother for Isha and was concerned for her but he tried to surpass his concern.

Arjun: Krish let's go home. I have much work to do, I want your help in completing that.

Krish: Arjun not today! *he stood up in frustration* Why you start ignoring when it comes to Isha? Why? Till when? It's enough! You must only be aware of her smile but I have seen her pain behind that! I can't see her like that anymore!

Krish was fumming today. Arjun too got irritated now. He dynamically stood up from his chair jerking and pushing it into the wall behind. His eyes were red by now. He spoke in painful yet infuriated voice.

Arjun: So do you think I love hurting her? She is my wife Krish! It's not a joke! I'm just doing my duty as a husband...

Krish: Oh! I didn't knew ignoring your wife also comes in the great husband duties by you! Isn't it?!

Arjun: I'm just protecting her Krish! I'm not fond of ignoring her. *he gulped hard* I too have seen her expectations from me in her eyes, I have seen her love in her actions! but I'm forced Krish, you too are aware.

Tears were oozing out of his eyes, He turned around hiding his tears. A feeling of guilt ran down his spine making him shiver. He collapsed on the chair clutching his head unable to control his emotions. Krish came near him trying to calm him down by placing a supportive hand on his shoulder...

Krish: Forget it Arjun, I'm sorry, I shouldn't act like that.

Arjun: I know Krish, you care for her. Even I do so, but...

Krish: Don't worry Arjun, I'm always there. I'll never let you down. *he smiled a bit* come, let's go home now.

Arjun nodded in approval and they left for home. Here at home Isha, Ritika and Ruhi just entered the house and started to settle down a bit arranging their stuff. After they settle down a bit, Ritika proposed making Arjun's favourite dishes tonight and also helped Isha prepare the dinner. They made various kind of dishes.

Isha: Thanks Ritu, you always have amazing ideas. I hope Arjun loves them.

Ruhi: Yes Di, Jiju would love it, I'm sure he'll be very impressed. I'm sure he wouldn't be able to resist himself for his very beautiful wife herself serving him. *she teases*

Ritika: You are becoming really naughty Ruhi!

Isha: Yes Ritu, afterall she is grown up now. It seems like we will soon have to find a handsome guy for her.. *she teases back*

Isha came and hugged Ruhi from behind, teasing her, while Ruhi was blushing profusely.

Isha: Remembering someone Ruhi?

Ruhi: Di!!!

Ruhi got all pink and shy, she came out of her embrace and ran behind her, Ritika ran behind them. Isha, Ruhi and Ritika all running giggling. Suddenly Isha was stopped being blocked by a very masculine body. Due to the sudden stoppage she stumbled almost about to fall down only when she felt those strong hands gripping her waist resisting her to fall. She looked up to meet the person's eyes and those were of none other than her husband, Arjun. They had an eye contact for a while. Arjun was completely lost in her eyes. Isha lowered her gaze breaking their eyes contact as she was a little embarrassed to run and behave childish infront of him and then falling into his very own arms, while he was lost in her childish antics which made him forget everything for a minute. He realised this and broke the silence and finally spoke up.

Arjun: *clears throat* Is everything ok?

She didn't understood what he meant for a moment, she shrugged her shoulders and gave a confused look.

Arjun: Actually you were running so I thought if any problem was there. *he clarified coldly*

Isha: No, Umm, everything is okay. By the way, you showed up too early, everything's good? *she asked softly*

Arjun: Oh umm, yes, actually we finished most of our work early today.

Isha: We?

Krish: Hi Isha! Krish here. *he smiled and side hugged her stepping forward*

Isha: Krish? What a wonderful surprise to have you here. *she smiled softly*

Krish: Yes actually, Arjun had some work, so I decided to assist him with that.

Isha: Ohh, Sure please come. Works later on firstly come and have dinner, it's ready.

Isha invited him wholeheartedly and made them sit on the dining table, whereas he accepted her hospitality grateful. She, Ritika and Ruhi brought out the dishes on the table and Isha served them. Everybody got seated and started having food. Arjun was actually happy with Isha's efforts but didn't spoke anything.

Krish: Wow! Isha bhabhi, the food is amazing. I must admit Arjun is a very lucky man to have his wife serving him such delicious food everyday. He can get such an amazing food whenever he wants.

Isha: Thanks krish, but it was not me alone...Ritika and Ruhi also helped me.

Ritika: By the way Arjun, we are waiting for your comments, didn't you liked it? *she chuckled*

Arjun: Yeah it's okay, nice. *he spoke as if least interested*

He gave a very cold reaction which shattered shattered Isha completely. All her expectations were now piercing her heart one by one like the sharp arrows. Hiding her emotions Isha was about to leave the table but suddenly she was stopped by Arjun when he called her name.

Arjun: Isha...

She got a ray of hope as Arjun called her name before she could actually leave, she secretly controlled her tears and turned to face him.

Isha: Yes?

Arjun: Isha actually, before going to bed I need you to arrange some some files that must be kept on the top of my bookshelf in my suitcase, I need them urgently tomorrow, so please keep them in my suitcase before sleeping.

He expectations again got crushed underneath the harsh stones of Arjun's cold words. She spoke nothing but nodded before running towards her bedroom and sobbing hiding her face in her knees sitting against a wall. Ritika understood her emotions and got up from her seat to see her.

Ritika: Ruhi serve the rest to them, I'll be here in a while.

Ruhi: Okay Di!

She nodded and left for her room to check upon her.
