Percy's P.O.V

I hurriedly went to the roof where everyone was climbing into a helicopter.

"Come on Percy, get in." Natasha said. I felt the blood drain from face. I rapidly shook my head. Thor came over to me.

"You do not have to fear your uncle with me in there." He said. I shook my head again.

"If I go into his domain he will be able to sense me and find me." I said quickly.

"It's safer for me to fly on Blackjack." Thor smiled widely.

"I've always wanted to meet your noble steed." He told me. Loki snickered behind me.

"Just get in the mortal flying thing." He said and shoved Thor softly. They both climbed in and I whistled loudly three times. There was a black blur and Blackjack landed in front of me.

Boss!

"How many times do I have to tell you not to call me that?"

Okay boss. Hey, do you have any doughnuts?

I sighed. "No, I don't have any doughnuts."

Aaaaw.

"Look, I need to get to Times Square. It's an emergency."

Okay boss.

I climbed onto him and we flew to Times Square. We arrived just as the Avengers did. They looked in awe at Blackjack.

"What is it?" Natasha asked.

"It's my pegasus, Blackjack." I said and stroked him. He nickered softly.

Can I have doughnuts now, Boss?

I laughed.

"No, not right now." I told him. There was a loud roar and I turned around to see my old friend, the minotaur, leading a few hundred monsters.

"What the hell is that?!" Tony yelled.

"It's the minotaur." I told him. "Hey beef head, how's Tartaraus been? I've heard it's lovely this time of the year." I said to him and uncapped Riptide. The minotaur roared in anger and charged towards me. At the last second I jumped, grabbed its horn and swung myself onto its back. I stabbed it in the back and he exploded into gold dust. I cursed under breath as I realised something.

"Your weapons won't work against the monster's." I told them.

"Why won't they?" Clint asked.

"Your weapons aren't made of Imperial Gold, Celestial Bronze or Stygian Iron. That means that you're weapons will just pass through them. Thor and Loki's weapons might work." Just then a voice boomed out.

"Perseus Achilles Jackson." I looked at the owner of the voice. The three Furies stood there, looking as ugly as ever.

"Alecto." I spat. "What do you want."

"There is a reward for whoever brings you to Tartaraus first. We intend to get it. Everywhere, you are hunted." Alecto said and bared her fangs.

"I thought you worked for Hades." I snarled. Alecto hissed.

"We did, but Tartaraus had offered us a better deal." She said with a cruel smile. At once the army of monsters surged towards us. I slashed and hacked through hoards of monster. I became a demon, tearing through monsters left and right. Riptide was no longer a sword. It was an arc of pure destruction. (Quoting Percy Jackson and the Last Olympian.) Out of the corner of my eye I saw Thor killing monsters with the help of Black Widow, Spiderman and Clint while Loki destroyed monsters by Ironman, hulk and Captain America's side. I got to the centre of the army where the Furies were watching me closely. One of them lunged at me and I rolled to the side. I blocked a swipe of its claws and slashed at its wing. It shrieked in alarm and I used that distraction to swiped at its neck. Its body turned to dust but the head stayed on the ground. The Other Furies shrieked in anger and both jumped at me. I was holding out on my own until one of them caught me of guard. It hit my sword away and grabbed my arm in its talons. Alecto did the same with my other arm. Before I knew it I was dangling twenty meters into the air. I twisted around and Alecto cackled. I felt Riptide return to my pocket. I closed my eyes and felt a familiar tug in my gut. I heard a roar of the ocean in my ears and felt the little lake below me churn. I made a fist and the water rose up to meet me. I made a giant watery hand. It hit the other Fury and I crushed it in my giant water fist. Gold dust floated to the ground. A spout of water hit Alecto's wing. It broke with a snap. Alecto flailed around and one of its long talons hit me on my cheek, drawing blood. I lost my concentration and we both started to fall back to the ground. We attacked each other as we fell, tackling and tumbling over each other. I pulled out Riptide and with a final effort, I plunged it into Alecto's heart. As I was about to hit the hard, dark water, I closed my eyes.
