Byron's POV:
When Alli started coughing up blood Mom ran up to her with a paper tissue and handed her it. While Alli was coughing her throat up, Mom pulled me aside and said, "You have to take her to the hospital, she won't make it to Thursday if we keep her here. Not to mention how much pain she'll be in. If she's already coughing up blood now, she'll be in too much pain to even open her eyes if we don't take her to the hospital NOW!" When Alli heard the last part she seemed to go really pale really quick. She looked at me and said, "Byron, you will not take me to the hospital. I will not go to any mortal hospital even if it kills me!" she was practically shaking with rage. Then she fell asleep again. I looked at Mom to get some support, but she was walking toward her bunk. I ran to catch up with her and said, "What are you doing? What if she wakes up or starts coughing or something else!" She just laughed and said, "You are related to Apollo, you'll find out," and walked into her bunk. As soon as I stepped near Alli she started coughing again. Luckily there was no blood this time. When she saw me she smiled and said "Your going to take me to the hospital anyway, aren't you?" I was surprised that she knew what I was thinking, and that she wasn't yelling at me when I told her I was taking her to the hospital. "Are you to go then, or do you want to wait a minute or something?" I asked her, hoping that she wouldn't give me one of her glares. She didn't, in fact she said, "Now, if you don't mind. I don't want to live another day like this...but can you go and get something from my bunk?" I knew something was going on, but I said yeah and went to get a stick for her. When I went back she was gone. When I went to the table she was at I saw a sticky note that said, "Byron, I told you that I wasn't going to go to a mortal hospital...even if it killed me. I'm going to turn myself in to my Uncle, then he won't go after y'all anymore. I hope that you and your mom won't hate me, I did it so that nobody could hurt you, your mom, dad, Alice, and Luke. Sincerely, Alli" I re read it around five times, then showed it to Mom. She did the same thing as me, but after the third time she read it she crumbled up the paper and started to run toward the exit of the camp. I stopped her, but she was hard to stop. She looked at me with tears in her eyes and said, "You have to find her...she won't make it in time, and they won't heal her..." and she started to sob some more.
