Byron's POV:
Everything went by so fast. One minute I'm telling Alli things I would of never said to anyone -especially her; to her jumping in front of a dart that was being aimed for me. After Alli pulls the dart out of her arm she passes out, and I freak. While I'm trying to shake Alli awake I hear a voice I never thought I hear again say, "Byron stop shaking the poor girl, or she might not wake up." Almost as if Mom's voice had special healing powers, Alli started to move.

Alli's POV:
When I heard Mrs.Lyn's voice instantly thought I must be dead. Then I heard her telling Byron to stop shaking me, so I started to get up to make sure all of us weren't dead. My second thought during all of this was Wow, being dead twice in one week is great, but then I heard Byron say, "Alli your awake!" I somehow knew that I wasn't dead, so I let the darkness that was trying to consume me again take me.

Byron's POV:
I could tell that Alli had fallen back to sleep because all of a sudden she was a deadweight again. Mom noticed too because she said, "Carry her back to her room, I'll be there in a minute."

Five Minutes Later...
Alli's POV:
When I wakeup the first thing I do is moan, and that's when I hear Byron say, "Alli,are you awake?" I didn't want to speak -my throat hurt too bad- so I nodded my head to answer his question.

Byron's POV:
When I see Alli's head move I instantly go to get Mom, but then Alli stops me. She clears her throat and says, "What else did he tell you about me Byron?" I knew that she was talking about her dad, so I said "All he said was that you were his daughter, and that you were the only good person left in his family." I then hear Mom walk in and I stop because she says, "I think it would be best if you left us alone for right now Byron."

Alli's POV:
When Mrs.Lyn walked in she sat next to me and said, "You know you saved his life right?" and I nod my head. She looks at me and says, "Why did you do it? I know that you and Byron were in a fight during all of this, he told me himself. So why did you do it?" I just shrug my shoulders and say, "I didn't second guess it, I just jumped." When I said the last part I let out a huge yawn, and it was starting to get hard for me to keep my eyes open. I heard the smile in her voice when she said, "Go ahead, go to sleep...you deserve it," and left the room. I think to myself, finally,peace at last, then go to sleep.
