Alli's POV:
It's been about a week now, and I'm still in the hospital. I can make it around the whole entire hospital pretty well, but they still won't let me leave. They talk about how it was a miracle that I survived, but it was a shame that I lost my sight, when they don't think I can hear them. They've only let me see Byron once a day, and even then it's only for about one to two hours. Today went spent our hours by watching/listening to a movie called Percy Jackson and the Sea of Monsters. For some odd reason I didn't find that movie very enjoyable. I mean, it was a great movie and all, but it made me feel very uncomfortable. Strange huh? When Byron "helped" me to my room the nurse stopped us and said, "I think you can go home now Alli, you can find your way around better than some people who have their sight. We'll miss you though, Alli."

30 Minutes Later...

Byron's POV:
I just got done helping Alli into the truck when Mom came up to me and said, "Come back and pick me up in a minute will yah, I got some paper work to fill out still," and she walked back inside. When I sit down in the driver's seat Alli instantly jerks her head in my direction. While I tell her what Mom said, I noticed she is only looking at my eyes. I see when people talk to her or vise versa that she always looks them in the eyes, like she can still see them or something...

When They Arrive at The House...

Alli's POV:
When Byron drove into our driveway and told me that Mrs.Lyn had made him de-root the whole entire camp -Which was extremely hard since we were in Peru- I didn't believe him. But when Byron helped me get to my bunk I noticed no tripping roots along the way. When I was in my room I felt around to find out if any of my things had been moved. Only one thing was there that wasn't supposed to be, the huge spider that was about to lunge at me. I didn't know it was there until Byron swatted it away with my stick, then he slammed the stick into the spider for a good measure. When I realized what had happen I turned to him and was about to say, "Thanks, I didn't realize it was there," when I heard the explosion.
