Byron's POV:
When I turned around I saw Hades, the god of the Underworld. He gave a stern look at me then said, "Well demigod, why have you come to take this deceased Aging-Imortal back to the living?" When he finished saying that Thanatos appeared and said to Hades, "I've asked this demigod to receive her, for she is my only family left that has some good in her. She also died without reason, so I will take her back." After he said that they had a stare down until Hades, "I see, but something has to be taken from the child, and I get to choose," then vanished. Alli almost looked disappointed when she said to her father, "Thank you for saving me, but can you return me now?" After she said that she disappeared into the shadows. I was about to leave too when Thanatos grabbed my shoulder and said, "You will not help her if you tell her that I am her father, let her continue to believe that the man who raised her was her father and not me. Also, she will need the help of a friend when she wakes up, and plenty of it." After he said that everything started to go dark...

Two Minutes Later...

Byron's POV:
I've been awake for about a minute now and Alli still hasn't woken up yet. When Mom arrived I told her what happened and she went back down stairs crying...

One Hour Later...
Alli has finally woken up, but she's screaming. I run over to see what's wrong and I hear her say it, "I can't see, I can't see!" Now I know what Hades meant by that he was going to take something, he took her sight.
