Chapter 9
Ash and I dashed into the crowded tournament arena (aka the gym) right when the battle started.
"Come on out, Blaziken!" May called.
"Go, Roselia!" Drew yelled.
"This is going to be so quick," May laughed. "Flame Storm, Blaziken!"
"It's a one shot! Roselia fainted!"
A.N. That battle wasn't to not be creative, it was just showing how strong May is.
"What?" Drew jumped, taken back with shock.
"Don't worry I still love you," May chuckled. Drew stared at his Roselia Pokémon Card in defeat.
"Alright students, I'll be right back, need to go get some water," Professor Kukui explained, and he left.
"Hey Ash," I sighed.
"Yeah, Serena?"
"I was just thinking with everything going on about us, with our personality changes and stuff like that, want to make a truce?" I asked, and put my hand out in a fist.
"Truce," Ash said, and put his hand next to mine.
CRASH!
A window shattered, and a strange guy with a mechanical device on his arm and orange hair went through the window.
The thing on his arm was some technological object that I've never seen before, it was colored orange, and had cyan-colored buttons. Girls with masks were outside. The masks had a black outline. The middle of the mask was a bright color corresponding to the wearer's hair color.
(The brighter purple is supposed to be black in this case.)
The orange-haired boy grabbed Dawn, and dashed out of the building.
"Hey, wait up!" I yelled, and ran after him.
If I could catch up to him, I could save Dawn. He can't get away! This was all so fast!
"What do you think you're doing?" Ash called from the building. "Get back here!"
"Yeah what he said!"
"Come down!" I yelled.
"Stop stealing her!"
"SHUT UP!" The orange haired boy called.
"HHHHHEEEEEEELLLLLLPPPPPP!!" Dawn squeaked.
"Goodbye, idiots."
Ash ran to where I was.
"He reminds me of the devil Ash," I said, nudging him.
"Hey, I thought you said truce." He said, nudging me back.
"Dawn was just stolen!" Someone in the Pokémon Group yelled. "Stolen!"
"Guys stop freaking out, we'll be okay."
"Says the girl who can beat Calem! You don't know how us youngsters think right now!"
"Youngsters?" I asked, looking straight into his eyes. "You guys are not youngsters. Before, you guys thought that I was a youngster, but I proved you wrong! You can prove the whole world wrong if you actually try!"
"Yeah! We can save Dawn!" Ash chanted.
"Ash is nice?" One of the girls asked.
"I'm not saying anything... just know that I made a truce for a project that I'm in, so I'm forced to be nice," Ash explained, looking at me. "For right now, though, Dawn is a student just like the rest of us, and we have to do everything in our power to get her back."
"Yeah! We're all eager to save Dawn, right?" May asked, looking at everyone.
"Dawn! Dawn! Dawn! Dawn! Dawn!" Everyone cheered.
Ash and I shot each other a look of happiness, we were both smiling at each other, chuckling a bit.
"Well, guess that's under control," I yelled over the chanting.
"Yeah we're gonna be here for awhile!" Ash called over me.
"Alright everybody, QUIET!" May screamed, and everyone stopped chanting. "We need to find a way to get them back here, so everybody get to a Pokémon Battling table and talk with a partner, partner talk is easier than self thought."
"Roger!" A boy called, and ran off with another boy. Some girls went with their partners or friends. There was no one left, so Ash and I had to be with each other again.
"So, how do you think we can stop him?" I asked.
"Ugh, if Pokèmon were just real this would be so much easier," Ash sighed. "I know they can be, I can feel it, but it's so hard just knowing that you don't know how to make them appear."
I'm surprised Ash hasn't figured out on accident yet, or maybe he's bluffing.
"Well, for now we need to focus on saving Dawn, maybe we can find out how to do that later."
"Right, just gotta keep on working and not give up, that's all we gotta do to find a solution."
"Exactly! So, where are we going to get Dawn?"
"Well, it's a group organization, they'll probably have a base somewhere, right?" Ash asked.
"Maybe, maybe not, organizations are usually secretive like that, there's some that are different than the other."
"That's true but most of them, like ones as big as that, have to have something."
"How do you know it's big?"
"The technology, small groups wouldn't be able to have jet packs and weird arm thingies."
"Arm thingies?" I chuckled. "Nice description."
"Truce, remember?"
"Sorry, at least I'm not trying to kick you out of my existence." I smirked, saying that as a joke.
