Didn't anyone notice an absence
But you know how things always go wrong
The minute I take down this fence

I've gotten even more insecure
You can see that I'm paranoid
I may have also become a bore
So this poem, you might avoid

I thought of you when I was away
So much I'd get restless
And you know there was no day
I started to miss you less

I was lost on an island
I created only to hate
And I was lost in so many ways
That I had to call it fate

I lost my faith and religion
Like I had it in the first place
And church had never been fun
So away, I had to race

I was self destructing
Care to look at my new scars
If I keep going on this way
I'd probably end up behind bars

Sometimes the lonely got too lonely
But I was scared to break my shell
So I cocooned in deeper depths
In a place worse than hell

But I've bloody missed y'all
You'd be blind if you don't see
And every night I lay awake
I kept wondering who missed me
