Victoria Dead?
"So Veronica are you ready to start your training. I said no experience was needed but some knowledge of the business should help." Berkley said.
"Yes Berk I'm ready." Veronica replied.
"Don't call me that."
"Oh we aren't there yet?" Veronica asked.
"We will never be there." Berkley said.
"Why-"
"So let's get started. These are the types of tea bag containers. We lost all of our black tea the other day. It has been replaced by this stuff." Berkley said pointing to the new tea bags.
"Oh who would have done such a thing."
"Braylin thought it was you." Berkley chuckled.
"Oh did she now."
"Yes I'm so sorry about her but she is really protective of this shop." Berkley apologized.
"It's fine, now let's get this over with. Today there is supposed to be a lot of important customers." Veronica said.

"I'm at the place, it looks awful. Why this place, I would like to know why we are killing people from such a terrible place." Victoria said into her phone.
"Because once you get involved in this thing you can't get out. The only way to survive is to kill. Remember Braylin is first. But make sure you back and healthy before you get rid of her." Vanessa said on the other line.
"I still don't understand what I'm doing exactly today if I'm not killing."
"Oh Victoria I wish you could be a little more like Veronica." Vanessa said.
"I can be if I want to I just chose not to. Now what am I doing?" Victoria asked.
"You will be ordering one of Veronica new tea's that have 'poison' in them, then you will pass out and be taken to the hospital. Veronica will then put real poison in all the tea bags while Berkley is distracted. After you get out of the hospital start killing people." Vanessa said.
Victoria looked up at the small building in front of her. It was a faded beige with a mural of a magical journey through a book. The window was the book and all sorts of people and colors flowed through the building.
There were a few outside tables but only one customer sitting their. "As soon as you walk through those doors it's a crime scene. Try not to blame Veronica. But Braylin instead." Victoria said to herself.
With a lot of anxiety Victoria pushed through the double doors and heard a familiar jingle of a bell. She walked up to the counter eyeing a specific person she wanted to meet.
"Hello, what can I get for you today?" Veronica asked.
"I will take a medium coffee with a hint of nutmeg and whip cream on the top." Victoria said.
"Ok coming right up."
Victoria sat down at a rather large table for one person but didn't mind looking lonely, it would only add to the affect of her death.
In the kitchen Veronica assembled the coffee Victoria wanted even though it was a tea shop. The catch: instead of nutmeg she placed in a small batch of her sleeping powder.
The real poison was tucked inside her belt buckle.
Veronica brought out the tea to Victoria.
"I'm really sorry about the Vic but boss said so. It's flavored bubble gum so it won't taste that bad." Veronica mumbled secretly while handing the tea off. "Hope you enjoy ma'am" she said in her sweet employee talk.
Veronica walked back behind the counter and watched closely as the scene suddenly played out.
Here goes nothing, Victoria thought. She plugged her nose and sipped the coffee. Veronica is awful at making coffee, was the last thing Victoria thought before falling into blackness.
"OH MY GOSH! Berkley get in her somebody fainted." Veronica shouted. She ran over to Victoria and bend down to touch her curly red hair. She stroked her porcelain freckly skin. Veronica seemed to be in a daze watching her best friend become lifeless. She was soon free from it because Berkley had entered the room.
"I'm here, oh my goodness, what do I do?" Berkley whispered.
"I'm calling 911." Veronica said frantically.
"I'll check for a pulse."
Veronica was soon on the phone with the ER. "Hello a customer of mine has just fainted in the middle of the shop and-"
"There's no pulse!"
"And theirs no pulse, please get down here immediately. Thank you, oh yes Britta's Books and Tea." Veronica hung up and rushed to Berkley's side.
"You should call an inspector, maybe she was allergic to something or there was something in the drink." Veronica suggested.
"Ok can you do that I should get back to work."
"Perfect, I know just who to call." Veronica gave a Berkley a hug and yanked out a piece of her hair without being suspicious.
"Thank you so much Veronica." Berkley said and ran back into the kitchen.
"Time to call the inspector," said Veronica maliciously.

"Hey Gabi can you come to the shop tomorrow for practice. Cool see you there." Braylin said and hung up the phone.

Hey readers! I know that last part with Braylin probably didn't make sense but it will come together in the next chapter. Sorry for my chapter not being that long, I'm not the best at writing and coming up with stories.
Anyway that's all I have to say. Remember to vote, comment, and ask me any questions. I really like reader/author interaction.
