Just when Sabrina thought that the Winx Suite could not get any more crowded, Flora arrived. She was Terra's "second cousin by marriage" whose powers were also connected with nature and who was extremely gorgeous.

The other girls were helping her unpack and Sabrina was hiding from the crowd in Stella's room. The blonde was pissed off about the fact that she had to share a room now and was calling everyone to try to fix it. She had that exact same reaction when Roxy became her roommate last year so Sabrina was definitely not surprised.

The last thing that Sabrina needed was more drama in her life. With Rosalind and her mom being here, her mind was already all over the place.

"An answering service is not exactly what I had in mind when I'm trying to speak to my own mother." Stella huffed and shook her head at whatever answer she received. "I understand that her comings and goings are private. She is the Queen of Solaria." Flora entered the bedroom just and threw an awkward smile Sabrina's way, who responded with a wave and a barely-there smile. "But I am the Princess which is exactly why I cannot and will not share a room."

She let out a long sigh and hung up the phone. Sabrina could not help but grow worried. There was something that her best friend was not telling her. It was hard to believe that she was that on edge just because she had to sleep in the same room as another fairy.

"This sucks for you, I get that." Flora started calmly. "But you'll barely even notice me. I promise. I can be invisible."

Stella pursed her lips and closed her eyes in frustration. Flora's face faltered and her eyes met Sabrina's, who gave her an apologetic look. Flora set her box of things on top of her bed and headed into the bathroom that she and Stella were supposed to share.

"Look, Stella." Sabrina sighed, drawing the Princess' attention toward her. "We can switch if you want. I know you don't like new people so I don't think that you will mind sharing a room with Tecna."

Stella shook her head and looked down, refusing to meet her gaze for whatever reason. "No. It's fine. I'm fine."

Sabrina furrowed her eyebrows in concern. "Are you sure?"

"Positive."

Sabrina has not seen Riven in what felt like forever and she just so happened to have a free period that afternoon so she decided to crash his training session.

"She's a total smoke show." Was the first thing she heard when she neared Riven, Sky, and Brandon. All of them, besides Brandon, had their backs turned to her so no one other than her cousin could not see her walking toward them. "But like a stealth smoke show, you know? Doesn't need to prove she's a smoke show."

Sabrina raised her eyebrows and crossed her arms over her chest as she stood behind Riven and Sky. She saw Brandon crack an amused grin.

"Can you stop saying 'smoke show'?" Sky pleaded and took his shirt off. "We all know Sabrina has you whipped. If you want to say something, mate, can it at least not be bullshit?"

Riven chuckled and kept quiet, knowing that he could not argue with the truth.

"Who's a smoke show?"

Sky and Riven practically jumped at the sound of Sabrina's voice and looked over their shoulders in surprise. The latter perked up at the sight of her and didn't miss a beat while answering her question, "You."

"Flora." Brandon responded at the same time, earning himself a glare from Riven.

"Terra's roommate?" Sabrina raised an eyebrow, "You already met her?"

"Yeah." Riven shrugged, "I was just calling her a smoke show because I was thinking about setting her and Brandon up."

Brandon rolled his eyes. "I'm good, mate."

Sabrina chuckled at the scowl on his face. Brandon was celibate for months. The last girl he was with was probably Stella and he would get pissy whenever one of them would even suggest him dating anyone else.

Stella was the one pinning now and he was shutting her out. Tables have turned and Sabrina was finding it sad. She did not know if she watched too many movies and shows but she would consider them being each other's person but falling for each other at the wrong time. He fell for her while she was with Sky and she fell for him after he was done chasing her.

Sabrina looked over the boys' shoulders to see Andreas walking past them. He eyed her with a confused look but brushed her presence off. Andreas gave his son a blank look and it made Sky clench his jaw.

The blond got to the podium with a newfound determination and did not stop until the specialists that he was fighting were unable to get back on their feet.

Sabrina watched the fight unfold with raised eyebrows. Andreas' face never faltered while Sky watched him and waited for a reaction. He did not get one and his father simply walked away. He started whispering something with Dane and pushed him back, clearly angry about something.

"Are you going to be in the room later?" Riven asked Sky and threw him his shirt back, "Looks like Dane might need a smoke."

The Jackson girl pretended to be uninterested and stared down at the nail polish-covered nails.

Sky threw a shirt over his head and said, "I'll be with Bloom. The room is all yours."

"Ah, thanks. Well, let me know when you want the favor returned." Riven hummed with a knowing smirk.

Sky furrowed his eyebrows. "Okay."

"You know, for you and Bloom to..." A look of realization flashed across Riven's face and Brandon and Sabrina snickered at the interaction. "Please tell me you two have shagged." In response, Sky let out a laugh and started walking away but he still called after him. "I see the problem! I see it. No, no, no." Sky stopped to give him an expectant look, so his best friend continued. "Fire fairy, strong emotions. Are you worried she's gonna burn your pee-pee off?"

Sabrina barked out a shocked laugh and watched Sky give Riven a baffled look while Brandon snickered into the palm of his hand.

"She's not gonna burn my ── what the fuck?"

"It's a valid concern!" Riven defended himself but Sky was actually walking away from him this time. "Hey, sometimes love hurts, man."

He let out a dramatic sigh when he got no response and turned to the cousins who were looking at him in amusement. It looked like something clicked in his head because he snapped his fingers and pointed at Sabrina with wide eyes.

"Can you and Bloom feel it when the other ── "

"No comment." She cut him off.

"Okay, but can you?"

-

Sabrina left Bloom alone for one afternoon and she already completely lost Rosalind's trust. The woman found her snooping around her office but Bloom still successfully managed to take pictures from a book in her drawer.

"Right there in her drawer." Bloom explained to Silva and Sebastian over the phone while they looked at the pictures that she sent them. "The pincers on that thing match the bite marks on Devin. This is what attacked him. Rosalind knows it."

Aisha frowned, "I wish I recognized the language."

"Yeah, Terra didn't either." Stella huffed, leaning against Sabrina a little bit while looking at the pictures.

"Because it's one of the dead languages." Silva explained, "Rosalind must have gotten the book from the Royal Archives."

"I think I remember some of these symbols from school. I was a bit of a history buff." Sebastian added, "Um, I can probably figure some of this out, but it will take some time."

Bloom let out a frustrated laugh and shook her head. "We don't have time. Three fairies are missing and only one has come back. Whatever is in that book, it's the key to what Rosalind is up to."

"What about if we had a guide to help us translate it?" Silva suggested.

"It would be a start but there are thousands of symbols."

"It would take ages to translate it." Sabrina agreed.

"There should be a translation text in the library."

Sabrina sighed and scowled. "Rosalind closed the library when she got here. The bitch said that she is weeding out inaccurate propaganda."

"It's always a good sign when a leader controls access to books." Stella mussed and she hummed in agreement.

"My house." Silva spoke up in realization, "There is one at my house. The bookcase in 𝘵𝘩𝘦 sitting room. You girls know where I mean, don't you?"

"Yeah." Sabrina and Stella responded simultaneously. They spent way too much time at Sky and Silva's house over the years. Especially when they were children.

Bloom gave them a confused look. Sabrina shrugged and said, "We were there a bunch of times when we were kids." She paused and gave Stella a side glance, "And later."

"Oh..." Bloom's eyebrows furrowed. It was almost like she only then remembered that Sky lived with Silva his entire life.

"I'm not sure Sky would want to go." Silva almost whispered.

"I have class off to catch up on reading for Rosalind so I can probably borrow the Harveys' car and just slip out." Bloom suggested.

"I'll draw you a map to the house."

Riven:
I caught beatrix snooping through my room
want to explain that?

Sabrina furrowed her eyebrows at Riven's text. Unless she was snooping for Rosalind she had no idea why else she would. After their last hook-up, the air fairy practically ghosted her which she was extremely glad about.

She put her phone in her pocket for now and decided to text him after they were done with the translation. They got straight to work the second Bloom got back to Alfea.

"Everyone has the photos I took of Rosalind's book."

"We need to match the symbols with the translation text to break the code." Sebastian said and Sabrina stood by Bloom as she held the laptop up so Sebastian could look at the translation.

"I thought about bringing the text to you, Sebastian, but I ── "

"Oh, this is safer." He assured the redhead and Sabrina was quick to agree.

"I wouldn't break any more rules." Her stomach dropped at the memory of Devin who died just a couple of hours ago. "Not after what happened to Devin."

"I think I got it." Sebastian spoke up, making all eyes turn to the laptop. "As far as I can tell, this is some sort of summoning spell for those creatures."

"Summoning spell? What element does that fall under?" Terra asked.

"It's ancient. Not elemental."

Sabrina scoffed and shared a look of disbelief with Bloom. "So, she is summoning these things? On purpose? What a bitch."

"To attack fairies? Why?" Terra muttered to herself.

"Hang on." Aisha exclaimed, making Stella stop scrolling at a big drawing. "I've seen that before. Store." She squinted. "Or save. Hoard? That's what that symbol means. The one that looks like a J with a table next to it. Store. Hold."

"Magic!" Bloom pointed at another symbol. "Hold magic."

"Wait." Terra spoke up, "Devin was begging Rosalind to give him his magic back."

"What if she's summoning the creatures so they could steal magic from fairies?" Sabrina suggested with a thoughtful look on her face. "And what if she isn't doing that as a punishment? What if she is doing it to make herself stronger?"

"She let Devin die so we wouldn't figure this out." Bloom realized.

"Rosalind is already one of the most powerful fairies alive." Stella stated.

"The thing about power is, no matter how much you have, it's never enough."

Sky:
Riven needs you
It's serious

a/n: I'm so pissed that there isn't going to be a season 3 but at least I can adjust the ending of the show by changing some stuff at the end of season 2. I'm still not sure how I'll do that but I'll try my best to cut off all loose ends
