1. I wrote Steve's death scene on Valentine's day. I found it ironic.

2. I actually stuffed up Alex's part in chapter 13. She was never meant to be in the dungeon area of the Dark Castle. She was only ever meant to be above ground fighting Neil. I had to figure out how I was going to get her from the dungeons to above ground, so that's why the beginning of chapter 15 happened the way it did.

3. I wrote the entire book remembering that Steve was going to die. I also remembered that he was going to respawn

4. It was only when I was writing Steve and Alex's kidnapping that I realised what Steve's death do to Hero. I am still so sorry Hero (and all those people who liked Steve)

5. I was originally planning on writing a mock fighting contest between Herobrine and Neil, but I could never figure out where it would fit. Just so you know, Herobrine is a Dragon rank (second top) when he's not using his powers and he's a Wither 1 when he is using his powers. A Wither 1 is the best sword fighter ever. EVER

7. I don't know if any of you have noticed this, but Blade isn't the main character in this book. The main characters are actually Steve and Herobrine. I've always wanted to write a book from a side character's POV, so here it is.

8. Originally, Entity and Null were supposed to be in this book as either cousins or brothers of Steve, Notch and Hero. However, Slimey and I couldn't figure out what their roles would be or where they would fit in, so we got rid of them and replaced them with Alex because no one gives her any love.

9. I wrote this entire book on a google doc which is now 61 pages long. EDIT: Scratch that, 65 pages.

10. The plans for this book are 660 words long.

12. I published the first chapter of this book on December 11th 2016 and the last chapter on Febuary 24th 2017. Time it took to write the book: 2 months, 13 days.

13. I'm thinking that I might write the conversations between Hero and the Voice in the Hall of Truth, a.k.a the Light but I'm not entirely sure.

14. Ender and W's names are from Ender Dragon and Wither. Don't know if any of you picked that up but if you did, well done.

15. Slimey and I came up with the plan for this book while swinging in the hammock in our backyard on a Sunday morning. I had forced him to listen to my random book idea and he started getting interested and suggesting ideas. If it wasn't for that hammock, this book would be completely different.
