3rd POV

The next day had started off with Luz waking up in an empty nest with a sling around her left arm, across her chest and around her right shoulder. She looked confused for a second before recalling last nights events. It was one of the best nights of her life. Her fear of Belos has finally lessened after four years of rigorous fear of the man and she found her real mother. Nothing can bring her down from her happy high now. She got up, left Eda's room and made her way to her own. King wasn't on her sleeping back so she assumed he was already downstairs. She made her way to the draws she had sorted out the day before and got herself dressed for the day, being careful with her arm. After getting dressed she made her way down stairs where she found everyone in the kitchen just talking it seems. "What are you guys talking about." Luz said as she let out a yawn and rubbed her eye slightly. "Well we were debating on whether it's a good idea to bring you out with us for the stand due to how your shoulder is right now." Eda replied.

Luz's eyes brightened at the mention of the stand. "Oh can I go with please? I can't help out to much in the front but I can help organize the lighter stuff one handed in the back." Luz begged her. Eda thought for a second before sighing and giving into her daughters antics. "Alright fine but take it easy alright? I don't want your shoulder to get worse then it already is." Eda told. "I promise I won't do anything to crazy." Luz reassured her mother. They all had breakfast, pancakes made by Eda under the instruction of Luz of course who would've done it had it not been for her shoulder, and went on with their day. Luz, King and Eda left the owl house to make their way to the stand as Lillith stayed behind to look after the house.

Business was slow as Luz was moving small things in the back, like stuffed animals and a couple of books, to try and organize it to the best of her ability. Eventually two familiar voices were heard at the front that made Luz curious. She set down the book she was holding, setting it down with the other books as she listened in. "Hey Ms.Eda!" Said a feminine voice. It was soft and a bit high pitched but Luz could swear that was Willows voice. "We, mainly I, was wandering if you had anything new that I could show off at the human appreciation society at your stand today." A masculine voice, that Luz recognized as Augustus's voice, stated. "Oh hey kids. Hm a new thing to show off at that club of yours you say? Let me think here. Oh! Yeah I think I have just the thing." Eda said, slyness ever present in her voice.

'Uh oh' Luz thought to herself. Whatever Eda had planned was most definitely not going to be her ideal scenario to reunite with the two but she'll have to live with it, she supposed. Eda walked to the back making sure they couldn't see Luz at all. Without a warning, Luz was being draped over Eda's shoulder as she carried her outside. "What the- Mom! Hey put me down! Not cool you caught me by surprise!" Luz shouted as she tried and failed to get out of Eda's iron grip. Once in front of Willow and Gus, Eda had gently let her daughter down so she can stand again. Luz gave her a pouty look as Eda spoke up again. "Will she do?" She said in a sly voice. Luz flinched and turned to face Willow and Gus for the first time in four years. Luz gulped as she shyly waved at the two. "LUZ!" The two shouted as they practically jumped over the table and tackled her to the ground. "Ow- hey! Careful with the arm you guys, broken shoulder blade here." She exclaimed as pain shot down her back. "Alright take it easy kids." Eda said as she helped all three kids off the ground. When Luz full got back up she held her shoulder in pain. "You ok kiddo?" Eda asked in concern. Luz looked at Eda smiling. "Yeah I'm fine, should subside soon." Luz replied. Eda nodded but continued to look on in concern.

Luz looked back at her teary eyed friends. She smiled and opened her arm as they hugged her once more. When they pulled apart, Willow asked "when did you get back? How long will you be staying for? Will you be attending Hexside again? What happened to your shoulder?" Luz chuckled at her friends excitement. "I just got back yesterday, I'm here to stay forever, and whether I go back to Hexside really depends on what mom says about it, and the shoulders a bit of a long story." Luz replied to all her questions. "This is great! We can hang out and do moon light conjurings practically every year now! This is gonna be amazing!" Gus said in excitement. Luz smiled equally excited as her two best friends. King, who had been laying on the table watching the events unfold silently, interrupted this moment however. "Wait, did you call Eda, mom when she was dragging you out her?" King asked, his curiosity now piqued.

Luz sweat dropped for a moment. "Oh yeah, didn't mention that this morning did we?" Luz asked Eda as she thought for a moment before slapping her hand to her forehead. "No, no we did not." Eda replied. Luz chuckled at her mother's early morning work antics. "Mention what?" King asked. "We'll explain later, when we have everyone together, and I'll explain my shoulder to you guys and Amity then as well. Oh! That reminds me, how has Amity been?" Luz asked as a slight blush made its way to her cheeks. Eda noticed her blush and gave Luz a knowing smile which of course Luz saw, making her blush harder as Eda chuckled at her response.

"She's been doing well, for the most part. We all missed you but I think Eda and Amity took you departure the hardest." Willow said, frowning slightly. Luz gave Eda a sorrowful look. 'If Eda had trouble bringing herself to eat because I left, then what happened to Amity?' Luz thought before looking back at her friends. "I can meet up with her tomorrow I have a feeling I know where to find her, for now I want you guys to catch me up on what's been goin on at Hexside." Luz said as a smile returned to her face. "Well for one, Boscha started to lose her popularity. But that of course made her attitude worse. Her bullying was hard but we managed, stuck up to her and for one another, like you would have done." Gus said. Luz frowned when she heard that Boscha bullied them worse then before but she brightened up when she heard that it didn't effect them as much as her bullies effected her in the human realm. They continued to chat the day away without a care in the world, unaware that a certain pair of twins were watching them.

"Well mittens is in for a surprise tomorrow." The male, Edric Blight said. "All you have to do is keep your trap shut" said the female, Emira Blight as Edric pouted.
