Percy's POV

"I'll go!" I said standing up. If anyone had to go on the quest it was me.

Annabeth looked at me quickly, then stood up. "I'll go too." She said.

I looked around at the hesitant campers, faces giving away their nervousness. Nico stood up slowly, blushing, and said, "I-I'll go."

Why was he blushing?

I shrugged it off. Three people. According to Chiron we needed nine. That's six more.

I noticed Hazel and Frank exchange a glance and soon enough they both volunteered as well.

Ultimately it was Leo, me, Nico, Jason, Piper, Annabeth, Frank, and Hazel. Reyna had to go for Camp Jupiter too.

The next day we set off in search of the demigod who threatened the camps.

Reyna and I were put in charge, Reyna for Camp Jupiter and me for Camp Half-Blood. "We'll be searching for the demigod in, ah, Quebec?" She glanced at us to verify.

We all nodded our heads.

"Right, then, bus?" Reyna seemed a bit stumped on how we would get to Canada.

"Do any trains run to Quebec?" Hazel asked.

"I don't think they'll go all the was to Quebec." Frank said to her.

I sighed. What I really wanted at the moment was food, I honestly didn't care how we got to Quebec as long as there's a Dunkin' Donuts on the way.

"Why don't we take the train up to Watertown, from there we'll catch another train up North until we reach the Canadian border.

We can sneak across underwater in one of Percy's water bubble things while Frank is a fish, and then we can emerge in Canada. We can find our way to Quebec from there."

All I could think was, Damn, that's a lot of trains.

"Okay guys, we're splitting up, I've already made the seating arrangements-" Reyna started at the train station.

"Can I sit with Percy!?" Annabeth chimed in.

I was kind of getting sick of Annabeth. She's a bit too clingy. I half hoped I would be seated with someone else.

Reyna looked pretty annoyed Annabeth had interrupted her, but replied, "Sorry, but the boys are seated separately from the girls."

Annabeth fumed but didn't say anything.

"If I may continue," she glared at the daughter of Athena, "Leo is sitting with Frank, Percy is sitting with Nico, Piper is sitting with Hazel, and Annabeth is sitting with me." Reyna seemed to choke out the last part.

"Hey! Where am I sitting?" Jason complained.

"Triple up." Reyna said, waving her hand dismissively.

I'm sitting with Nico? Nico DiAngelo? Son of Hades? Kid who hates me more than he hates happiness?

This is going to be interesting...
