As soon as Adora reached her bedroom she cried herself to sleep. When she woke up she saw Catra sleeping beside her. Adora hugged Catra causing her tail to floof & to wake up.

"Oh my gosh, are you ok!?" Adora asked with her face buried in Catra's back.

"I-I'm fine Adora." Catra said moving so she can face Adora.

"Why are you worried?" Catra said tilting her head.

"B-because your head h-hurt, yesterday a-and you left & I didn't know if I'll ever see you again." Adora said sobbing into Catra's shirt. Catra comforted Adora struggling to remember the past events.

"Well, I'm here now & I'm ok don't worry." Adora nodded slowly her face still dug into Catra's shirt.

"Adora can you move? I have to take a shower." Slowly Adora moved away & wiped away her remaining tears. Catra took advantage of Adora's actions & kissed her before running into the bathroom. Adora's face turned red before recovering her original color. She hopped off the bed & ran towards Glimmer & Bow's room. Once Catra got out of the shower she put her clothes back on & started walking towards the Brightmoon kitchen. Once she stepped inside she was met with a friendly wave from Perfuma.

"Good morning Catra! How was your sleep?" Catra swallowed nervously at her faded memory.

"G-good." Catra stuttered rubbing the back of her neck. Perfuma noticed her discomfort & offered her some meditation that helps with relaxation. Catra politely declined as she scurried away for food. Perfuma waved once more & left. After eating Catra was met with Scorpia in the hallway.

"Hey Wildcat! How are you?" Catra almost jumped at her sudden appearance.

"Fine... you?" Scorpia smiled at her returning the question.

"Great! Perfuma has been giving me meditation sessions! You should come join sometime!"

"Maybe, but don't get your hopes up Scorpia."

"Got it! Got it Wildcat, see you around!" Scorpia chirped before walking off. Catra continued her walk down the hall & before reaching her room Frosta stopped her.

"Hi." Frosta glared at her. Catra gladly returned her deathly stare.

"What do you want." Catra spat at her.

"To check on you." Frosta spat back.

"Since when do you care?" Catra said growling. Frosta flinched at the noise the cat person made but quickly recovered.

"I don't, but Adora does." Catra expression changed as her eyes widened.

"Did Adora tell you to check on me?" When Frosta didn't answer Catra grabbed her puffy sweater.

"Answer the question." Frosta smirked at Catra & froze her hand making Catra stumble back.

"Bye." Frosta said flipped her hair as she turned around & left. Catra smashes her fist against the wall causing the ice to shatter. Catra growled as she slammed the door & walked towards the bed. Catra kept herself preoccupied until she was face to face with Brightmare. Catra was going to scream but the creature put it's shadowy hand on her mouth. Catra realized that she knew the creature & wanted answers.

"Why are you here?" Catra asked removing it's hand.

"To remind you of your task tonight."

"What ta-" Catra stopped at her sudden rememberence.

"Ah I see you remember. Your probably wondering why is that?" Catra nodded.

"When your around me you remeber some portions of what you did with me. When your not around me-"

"I don't remember. Why is that?"

"I can't have you snitching on me." Brightmare hissed at her. Suddenly Brightmare started to play around with Catra & started lifting up her shirt.

"What the- hey stop it?!" Catra said pulling her shirt down. Brightmare kept messing with her until the door suddenly opened revealing Mermista. Brightmare disappeared the second the door started opening leaving Catra with her shirt up.

"Hey or whatever, I wa-" Mermista stopped as she stared at Catra's stomach. Mermista's face went bright red as Catra quickly pulled her shirt down with a bright red face.

"It-its not what it looks like. I-I was doing a trick & I landed with my shirt up." Catra lied straight through her teeth & Mermista bought it.

"Um ok. Anyways Adora wanted me to check on you." Catra's brows furrowed as she stood up.

"I'm fine." Catra said brushing past Mermista.

"Wow, rude much?" Mermista said before walked in a different direction. Once Catra reached Glimmer & Bow's room she practically threw the door open earning an ear piercing scream form Bow, teleportation from Glimmer & Adora summoning her sword. They all relaxed when they saw it was just Catra & went back to their game of UNO. Catra grabbed Adora's arm causing her to drop her cards.

"Don't look at my cards Bow! Glimmer watch him!" Adora said as Catra dragged her into the bathroom.

"Catra what-"

"Did you tell your friends to keep checking on me?" Adora blushed at the position they were in. Adora body was in between Catra's arms.

"Hey!" Adora's gaze turned back to Catra.

"I did, sorry I was just nervous & scared because I heard of the legend of Brightmare an-"

"Brightmare? What's th-" Catra stopped as the memories with her & the beast flooded back to her.

"You know something don't you." Catra didn't answer as her mind raced. Adora was creeped out by Catra staring at her eyes mindlessly.

"Um Catra?" Adora snapped her fingers making Catra snap back into reality. Catra hissed as she stumbled back but quickly recovered as she looked back at Adora. Adora's eyes widened as she saw the look in Catra's eyes. Fear.

"Catra what's wrong." Adora asked stepping towards.

"I- nothing."

"Catra do you know something?" Adora asked gently grabbing Catra's hand. Catra looked down & back up again a shook her head.

"So then why did you freeze up?" Adora asked trying to remain calm.

"I don't remember." Catra said trying to bring color back to the gray memory.

"Catra-"

"I don't ok!" Catra snapped at Adora but quickly covered it up.

"I'm fine Adora~" Adora turned red at the sound of Catra flirting. Catra passionately kissed her & left watching Glimmer slap Bow's hand. Adora was left in the bathroom flustered, confused &... happy. Adora smiled as she texted everyone that they don't need to check on Catra anymore. After the trio finished their game Adora went back to her room only to find that Catra wasn't there. Adora thought she just went to the bathroom & fell asleep without her.

Catra walked throughout Brightmoon searching for Bow's arrows. She finally reached Glimmer & Bow's room she quietly walked inside. Once she saw the arrows she grabbed them & sneaked out of their room. She ran into the whispering woods & opened the hideout. After putting the arrows down she walked up to a mirror & looked at her reflection. Her eyes were glowing bright red & she was sweating from all the running she was doing. Catra walked outside & realized it's still night.

"I guess I can have a little more fun." Catra's voice was layered with Brightmares. Catra ran towards Plumeria & arrived at Perfuma's house. Catra smiled at Perfuma & quickly tied her up. Catra then picked her up & ran back into the whispering woods. Perfuma woke & looked into Catra's glowing eyes. Once they reached the hideout Catra pulled the lever & tossed Perfuma in. Catra turned around but froze when she heard noise. Catra turned to face Perfuma & her jaw dropped.

"Why... Why are you having to tea party?" Catra's voice is still layered since Brightmare is still controlling her.

"Care to join!" Perfuma chirped waving her hands enthusiastically. Catra just stared at her then shook her head.

"How did you get out of that?!" Perfuma just smiled & pointing towards the tea cups offering her one.

"You princesses are just... ugh." Catra turned around & closed the hideout. She glanced up & saw the sun rising so she started sprinting back to Brightmoon. It was a race against the clock because if Brightmare gets caught in broad daylight the effects would be devastating for both Catra & her possessor. Once Catra arrived at Brightmoon she dropped to her knees & Brightmare left her giving her original eye colors back. Catra looked up & her vision was fuzzy as she struggled to stand up. Once she reached the insides of the castle she fell & used the wall as support while she fell asleep. Her peace didn't last long when Adora shook her awake.

"Catra where have you been!?" Catra looked at Adora sleepily as she wiped away sweat.

"What."

"Perfuma's missing!"
