The blade started to descend slowly.

Ready to pierce through Regalis's night cloth, when the flap of the tent lifted. I turned.

"Regalis, I forgot..."

Ashton's words ceased as he walked into the tent. His eyes fixed on the sharp point of the blade close enough, to slice through his best friend's chest.

His eyes turned to me. A murderous glare.

If looks could kill, his would have snatched the knife in my hands and gashed my throat!
