I wore my uniform in a rush throwing my tie on my shoulders, I'll deal with it later, I shoved all my notebooks in to my backpack, hastily grabbing my shoes and socks and ran down the stairs barefooted my uniform top that wasn't buttoned up flying in the process.

"Ma, madam said you should..." The driver started but I shut him up, I know he wants to say Aunty Amanda said he should drive me to school but I couldn't care less, I'm late already.

"Just start the car" I said running towards the car, he was a bit surprised because normally I would argue with him or try to sneak out to walk to school, this was probably the first time I was following him willingly.

"Now" I shouted at the driver that was moving his feet slowly, he was too sluggish and it was getting on my nerves, I ran my hands through my hair impatiently as I waited at the side of the car, it was taking him years to get to the car.

I opened the car hastily jumping in and slamming the door in the process immediately he opened the car.

"Please would can you drive faster?" I asked the driver impatiently, as I buttoned up my shirt and proceeded to wear my socks and shoes.

"Okay ma" he said speeding up the car.

I glanced at my wristwatch.

Shit! I had forgotten my wristwatch at home.

"Sir do you have any idea what the time is?" I asked the driver.

He took a quick glance at his wristwatch.

"8:20 Ma'am" he supplied politely.

My eyes widened in shock, it was already twenty minutes into the first period which is maths.

I groaned, I hated maths, and did I add with passion? I find it difficult to read maths, once I missed class I hardly understood it, I just pray Ray would be able to teach me.

"Ma'am we're..."

I literally ran down the car taking my bag with me muttering a barely audible thank you.

I ran down the hallway fumbling with my tie.

"What the hell?" I shouted when I bumped into someone.

I looked up and stared into the most beautiful pair of brown eyes I've ever seen

Beautiful was the word. He didn't look Nigerian, rich curly dark hair which was cut in high afro style, Beautiful brown skin, delicate arched eyebrows and beautiful light hazel eyes, his pink kissable lips were held in a smirk.

"Are you done checking me out already?, I get the fact that I'm hot it doesn't mean you should stare for so long, it's getting creepy" he said cockily in his beautiful American accent.

That was enough for me to snap out of any trance I entered.

"I wasn't staring" I said almost immediately.

"You expect me to believe that?, besides you owe me an apology" He said.

You know I said he was beautiful well I take it back, he's just some arrogant and cocky idiot with an overblown ego who thinks looks is everything.

"Excuse me? What apology? You bumped into me and you asking for an apology, see I don't know about you but I do know I'm having a class now which I'm already late for, excuse me" I said a smirk tugging at the corner of my lips as I walked past him sauntering into the class.

I don't how what's up with this new found courage from but I think I love it.

JOSEPH'S POV

I chucked softly as Justin fixed his perfectly ironed uniform and arranged his hair as he approached the girl, I noticed he had also changed his walking style. I turned towards Jason,

"Do you think he'll get the girl?" I asked him

"Don't think so, I just hope he doesn't embarrass himself this time" He said truthfully.

"Well let's see if he does" I said leaning against the car, we just arrived at school and the first thing the idiot wants to do is to woo a girl, and I hate the fact that I have to wait for him besides classes doesn't start until eight.

Minutes later Justin arrived with a dazed look on his face.

"How did it go?" I asked him, it's not like I wanted to know but I just had to ask since Jason did not look like he cared.

"She, she s -sla -slapped me" he stuttered with a look of disbelief on his face.

I stared at his slightly pink cheeks and tried to hold in my laughter.

"How did that happen? I thought no girl could resist you? Hope you didn't use any of those your silly pick up lines" I asked pretending to be concerned while Jason totally ignored him.

"She slapped me" He repeated slowly like he couldn't still believe he was slapped.

This time I couldn't hold in my laughter as I burst into uncontrollable laughter clutching my stomach and holding the car for support.

"What? Why are you laughing, what's funny?" He asked me confused.

"So the almighty Justin got rejected by a girl?" I managed to ask in between laughter.

He gave me a death glare which shut me up immediately.

"See when you guys are done meet me in the class, Jason said pulling away from the car he was leaning on.

"Dude, chill now at least wait for me" I said straightening my uniform and standing up.

"Guy you see, it's not every girl that'll fall for your charms, they are just some girls you'll never be able to get" I said patting him on his shoulder and moving quickly to catch up with Jason not before hearing him mutter something like "well not this one, I must get her, she's mine".

I shook my head he never gives up easily doesn't he?
