Chapter 4: Game on!
First player was decided, it was Wen. Second player was Elliot, and last player was Sabrina. "Darn it!" Sabrina yelled. Both Elliot and Wen giggled. Wen played his first turn, and popped a four. Then Elliot popped the board and out came a six.
"Don't mind me, just getting lucky!" He moved a piece out and popped again, this time it was a three. He moved his piece over three spaces.
"My turn!" Sabrina shouted out. She raised her hand high and slammed her hand on the popper. The result she got was a two. Her face went from excited, to a pout. They all laughed anyway because of her exaggerations in facial expressions.
Second round began, and Wen popped a one. He moved his piece out to start up his next turn. His body was excited that he at least got the opportunity to actually play. On the other hand, Sabrina still hasn't have any of her pieces out. Elliot chuckled, "You're very unlucky Mom." She stuck out her tongue and turned her face. As they were playing the game, Wen and Elliot secretly locked hands and were on the floor. Sabrina never noticed this, which was good for them. After a while, Elliot had three of his pieces in the home spot. Wen had one piece in the home spot and two pieces out on the board. On the other hand again, Sabrina had three pieces on the board and the last one was still out.
To put it simple, Elliot was winning. "I only need a one to win!" Elliot granted. He popped a four, so he couldn't move his last piece, and it was Wen's turn next. On his turn, he popped a five and his piece fit perfectly into the home spot. Sabrina filled her turn, and finally got one piece in the home spot.
"Finally!" She sighed of relief. Wen and Elliot laughed at her again and she noticed. "Why are you boys laughing at me?" Elliot couldn't bear it, he blurted out more laughter.
" Your reactions... they're just... just so funny!"
When the game was still going on, Elliot looked over to Wen and raised his hand a little bit. While they were still connected, he laid them on Wen's thigh, to ease the effort of holding them on the ground.
Another thing was good about this act. That was Sabrina not noticing this action was happening. They both smiled at each other, and continued the game. It was Elliot's turn again after a while and he finally popped a one. "Oh, look who won, in your faces!" Right when Elliot won, the oven beeped. Both Elliot and Wen ran like animals to the kitchen.
"Now hold on boys, you'll be burnt if you touch that pan!" Sabrina said dramatically. She put on the mitten and pulled the pan out for the pizzas to cool off. The boys couldn't hold their hunger and rushed to put their pizzas on their plates. They cut their pizzas into slices and picked up one at the same time. Elliot hooked his arm around Wen's, and they both took their first bite.
