CHAPTER 5 °°°
Explanation of chapter 5° and 5°°
Note: If you are not interested in my perspectives of the poem , kindly skip this chapter.
I divided chapter 5 in two parts , springly sorrow and nyxlene.
Lets just imagine that these two chapters are like the above drinks( the left one is springly sorrow and right one is nyxlene).
You first take a sip of the colourful drink(springly sorrow). It tastes smooth and fresh like berries but after a while its lingering taste makes you feel sickeningly sweet. Here, I am trying to portray that sadness can come wrapped in colourful gift papers too. But we are so used to associating light with happiness that we keep forgetting its light that silently kills us. All of us are desperately trying to be a part of this art. Solitude does lead us to this springly sorrow. Solitude can bring peace but its not everlasting and eventually turns out to be bitter( sickeningly sweet like the drink ).
Now you take a sip of the dark drink ( nyxlene ). Its tasteless and bland. But as you drink more it settles in. It represents darkness and the moon. Its tasteless because it depends on you as to how you want to perceive it, a curse or a boon. We all belong to the dark thats why the drink has a sense of familiarity. Its from the darkness that you can either see a new sunrise or cast a shadow on it. Regarding as to why I named the ch nyxlene will be revealed in the nest poem. And in this darkness the church bells will be our guide , its like finding a new religion
The next poem will continue the story. I hope you are enjoying this book.
