Pulling down the lever to start the ride, a knowing smile washed across his face as he waved the girls off with an eerie CLANGG sound like chains banging against the ground. The ghost train was extremely immersive with unexpected jump-scares at every other turn and the theming was magnificent for two girls hadn't had a chance to experience many rides. Between the ambient sound and flickering lights, they clung onto each-other but jumped back as they approached a slow turn. They noticed a poster in the corner with  a camera symbol inches away from them and chaos ensues.

"What the hell?", asked Lucy.

"Shh they'll hear you", whispered Ava.

Before she could continue, the cage tilted sharply as they descended into a narrow and pitch black passage. Eager to strike, a hidden actor creeped behind the blissfully aware prey with a prop chainsaw and buzzed it quietly before revealing himself a few seconds later. Like a true predator, he fled the scene leaving them breathless as they completed the last minute of the attraction on edge.

"Photos available in the gift shop", retorted the ride operator.

*Exiting their cage, hearts still pounding* "OK", they replied as both girls went to relax for a couple of minutes before exploring the rest of the acclaimed arcade. With Katy Perry blasting in the background, they tried comprehending the events inside the train. The screaming and tugging from that actor paired with the chainsaw was like a fantasy world I suppose.

Giggling about Lucy's warped face in their photo mid scream, Ava tucked the photo into her bag and the girls headed to the photobooth for more official photos. Nice ones, traditional couple photos I suppose. Sneaking a kiss on the last photo with her hands gently wrapped around Ava's neck, Lucy grinned. As the photos came flying out, she shown Ava the last one then gave it to her to keep safe. 

" I wanna look upstairs", announced Lucy.

"Alright, but robot arm it is then", slyly said Ava.

*hesitant* "You were being for real-", uttered Lucy.

*Kisses her then grabs her hand* "Yes, come on pussy", retorted Ava with a cheeky smirk as she guided Lucy upstairs.

The escalator abruptly halted with the girls next to the robot arm and a mirror maze surrounded by clanging penny machines when they got off. Taking a moment to process the sensory nightmare, they glanced around to look for token prices. The robot arm instantly caught Ava's attention as she scurried over like an over-excited toddler to see how many they needed to buy.

" 8 tokens", stated Ava. She dug through her bag where she found some leftover tickets from the deal they had split earlier then looked back at Lucy.

"What level?", pressed Ava with a cheeky grin.

"Not 5, you can piss off. 2?", she responded

" Hmm... 4", proposed Ava as she told the ride operator before Lucy had a chance to object.

*Sarcastically* "If I die I blame you", snapped Lucy.

*laughs whilst gripping her hand* "You'll survive", said Ava but was cut off by the robot arm swaying in what felt like a huge draft of wind.

*Whipping them around aggressively, the ride flipped around until they were only inches away from going upside down. An adrenaline rush coursing through their veins, Ava lost herself in the moment whilst Lucy squeezed her hand nearly cutting off her blood supply. When the arm stopped jerking around, Lucy was as pale as a ghost*

" That was fun", raved Ava

*trying to catch her breath* "You said it didn't go upside down", moaned Lucy.

" Because technically that mode goes 80 degrees dumbass", remarked Ava.

 "Alright smartass, I say you take us through this mirror maze now", responded Lucy, slightly defeated she couldn't argue back.

Time soared past at the speed of light almost like it was stolen from them or fighting against them. In a matter of minutes they were back on the bus towards the unit, snuggled up and satisfied with the day.
